Shut Up and Take My Money!
What do you like best about the product?
Monday is my favorite project management tool in my day to day work. Its easy to use, self explanatory, and has a ton of features that I use as well as some that I really want to use but I'm only on the free plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want to upgrade to the standard plan (not the basic plan) as it has so more features that I would like to use but can't because in order to upgrade to any plan you need to pay for THREE SEATS. My business is only two people so I don't need to pay for three seats for an entire year. I have reached out to Monday to ask about only two seats but NOPE. I want to give them money but they tell me to use the free plan if I don't want to pay for three seats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can work and assign tasked with my partner. We can set deadlines, send updates, and overall stay on the same page,

What do you like best about the product?
About the reliability, project management task and day to day tracking features for a business to run.

Sometimes it’s feels lack of AI features.

Monday let me to see my daily task and activity do o can plan my project task efficiently and effective way.

What do you like best about the product?
The only thing that limits you with Monday Work Management is your imagination! It is so flexible that offers tons of customization, easy to use and has truly become and every day tool that we use. The customer support is unlike anything I have received from any other company. Their live chat AI for a change is very helpful, unlike other AI chat bots and if it cannot help you then it will take you straight to a live agent who is more than happy to provide some video tutorials on how to do something or jump on a zoom call to troubleshoot something.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of feedback from their community team. Many people offer ideas and suggestions and even some ideas that have high votes or have been suggested for years, don't get much feedback from staff. I understand the difficulties surrounding this though. Additionally, not being able to edit the color of status items to a custom color or even have statuses as the same color is a frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information and workflow management. We had so many systems and processes that involved a lot of manual input and work. Monday allows us to automate a ton of things now, link boards and items together etc. It saves us so much time and allows us to invest that spare time into more meaningful tasks.
Keeps me organized and on track with all of my items on the go and my teams.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to stay in the loop on my teams deadlines and tasks they have going so I don't have to bother them myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up boards, widgets and filters is sometimes confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday solves the problem of not staying organized and not knowing where my team stands on their tasks.
Monday.com - Efficient, Effective, Organized
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create sub tasks for a larger task, keeps things organized and in order.
What do you dislike about the product?
A minor downside would be the the mass notifications that I receive in regards to any tasks (especially when I have multiple items with reminders)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping various roles within my position segmented and organized by tasks and projects. The ability to also keep track of every detail when communication with my portfolio of clients
Monday.com is an easy to use, fool proof, tool for project and task management
What do you like best about the product?
We use Monday.com for stand-alone projects (boards), multiple projects, and sprint planning (for the marketing team). It gives us great insights into capacity, workload, and project progression. It helps keep our teams focused on what they should prioritize to work on and creates visibility for management on what's happening in the teams' space. It also really helps with surface dependencies and enhances collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The right setup is the most critical factor in achieving success with Monday.com. This is where we can still improve and probably struggle the most. Every business or use case for Monday.com can be so different that it's also hard to get an example or best practice. The best way is to take a trial-and-error approach. Automations are a bit limited. I think we can reduce operational workload (which is the whole purpose of using Monday.com). It's also up to us to better educate ourselves on how to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us give oversight in what we're doing and can be doing. It helps us to optimse our resource management. Both in the sense of optional time management as in surfacing dependencies and driving collaboration.

Sometimes the tool is too heavy for offices with a weak internet connection

I lost thousands of dollars with Monday.co,
What do you like best about the product?
I used Monday.com for years, and the software constantly glitched, causing me to lose hundreds of hours work and thousands of dollars. They never took accountability or tried to troubleshoot the issues. After doing some digging,g I realized I wasn't the only client whose boards mysteriously disappeared. Monday acted completely oblivious anytime they did something wrong. They also overcharged me for years. When I finally canceled, they still continued to bill me, claiming that I didn't cancel when I indeed did cancel it on my own inside my account. I do not recommend this company at all!
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service couldn't comprehend or solve basic issues, and the company didn't take accountability or fix technical issues or bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They didn't help. There were too many bugs.
Flexible tool that helps us organize ourselves and that provides a high level of transparency
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a very helpful and powerful tool that helps our whole company get organized. It is part of my daily routines and I have bookmarked the boards most relevant to me. I like how flexibly I can adjust views and auto-notifications to my needs. Especially for teams that work remotely and in different time zones, Monday.com helps provide clarity and transparency.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is so powerful and can be personalized in what feels like endless ways that I am sure I am not using it in the best way or to its full capabilities (even though I had training). You definitely need someone at your company who is in charge of Monday.com and who really masters the tool. Then, you will probably find quick solutions when you have a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides transparency and allows us as a fairly large, globally located Marketing team to collaborate efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using monday.com for a few years now, and we still love it. Its easy to use, and they constantly bring out new features to enhance experience and usefulness. We use it for larger scale projects that need to be managed over extended period of time and with various people/individuals involvement, but also for personal WIP lists and reminders too, so the versatility of the tool is quite far reaching.

The only downside is its beginning to get quite expensive, so it needs to be used for various things to justify the cost.

tracking progress - everyone has access so no one needs to wonder where things are up to
