Monday.com: Great UX, needs improved date/export support

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com provides customizable features, labels, and formats which allows multiple departments in our company to function and communicate. As an administrator, user management, and system management is easy to use as well as implement and train as new features are released.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of our major dislikes is that system dates and times, like when an Item was created cannot be used in formulas or automations. We end of pulling the board and the activity log into excel and do matches/lookups there to identify data discrepancies. Another is pivot tables, we use multiple tables and there is not a great way without using an integration partner to export data into Excel/PowerBI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com in two departments two completely different ways. In our Strategic Sales department we use Monday.com for CRM activity tracking. This solves the problem of our field team not have access to our server based CRM. The data they enter in Monday is then moved into the CRM on a daily basis. In our Marketing department we use Monday to track our Promotions calendar, communication with Sales and the Customer, as well as other project coordination and management.

What do you like best about the product?
It's automations and workflows are crucial to our work, being able to send multiple emails out, manage systems, creating multiple templates and SOW's makes our work so much easier. I would recommend for any non profit looking to organize themselves well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use some more customization on it's forms. They look very plain right now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM Systems, Email Collection, Surveys, Project Management, Kanban boards, Project Documentation.

Great Work Management Software

What do you like best about the product?
Monday is a great work management software. It allows our firm to set workflows to maintain efficiency and quality. The automatizations are easy to set up and if there are any errors it is easy to locate. When needed, customer support has been very helpful and has helped resolved our issues quickly. It has become a necessity at our firm.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, no feedback. Additional automatizations would be helpful but with the current range it gets the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving task management with color coding and reminders. It also allowed us to have a workflow for our cases and client follow up.

Very Happy WIth My Switch from Asana

What do you like best about the product?
I liked Asana but they inexplicably removed a feature that allowed the user to adjust several tasks at one time by the same number of days. With Monday, I can say shift several tasks the same amount with just one click. The other way it’s makes my job much is that I can duplicate a board easier and then shift all the tasks by a similar number of days.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like notifications when another user posts files into a task for me to review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to keep track of my tasks, my teams tasks and the status of projects from start to finish. Critical with a remote workforce.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is easy to use and keeps all our company information secure. We use it every day to send out email campaigns and keep track of sales.

We have not experienced any downsides on the system.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Monday literally every day, to help to build my schedule, connecting with stakeholders and having my work organized in one single place. It is great and easy to implement!
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations are a bit challenging sometimes, Customer Support can be a great help to solve this issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday keeps everything organized and connected to each other. It is the best way to don't lose pieces behind.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who juggles multiple claims with varying deadlines, Monday has transformed my organizational workflow. This platform excels precisely where I needed help most, tracking critical deadlines and maintaining structured lists of all my claims. I can easily share my boards with team members and also assign tasks. Its deadline tracking capabilities alone have saved me from missing critical submission dates multiple times, making it an invaluable tool in my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve. However, the platform can be precisely tailored to match my unique workflow, tracking requirements, and organizational preferences—something a simpler, one-size-fits-all solution could never achieve. I also find it frustrating that the ability to paste using right-click has been removed—now, the only option is to use Ctrl+V.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The deadline tracking feature alone has repeatedly saved me from missing critical submission dates, making it an essential part of my daily workflow.

Easy to use and properly organized UI

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Monday Work Management for over a year and a half now and with the kind of data entry work that I do, I could really say that we've evolved as company with regards to organizing our stuff that's needed to be logged. The effortless way of setting up boards and implementing it with a feature to link other boards makes it the best platform to be efficient, that being said, I would always use Monday Work Management in our line of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I haven't found anything that I dislike about Monday Work Management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management helps maintain our file fully logged and organized, with the right keywords on the search bar and the line item and files attached to it shows up immediately!
