What do you like best about the product?
action item / my work tracking and management
What do you dislike about the product?
Specific views on schedules (and how schedule item links work) and on resource management (dots vs actual data).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration with Slack and gmail is nice. We mainly use Monday to track action items and having e-mail notification is helpful as is slack notification.
We also use it for resource management but we find it a bit clunky for this. We can see views that show a dot (representing how many hours are available for a specific resource) and have a number and darker smaller dot inside the dot which represents the planned useage amount of that specific resource. Sadly to get the actual number of available hours, you have to hover over the cell. Would be really nice to see a view with a column showing available hours and another cell showing planned useage hours, and maybe even a third column showing the difference, flagged some way is negative.
We also use Monday to gather required information for procurement activities and track procurement activities. This works very well!

The platform's extensive customization options, while powerful, can sometimes lead to a steep learning curve for new users or teams unfamiliar with project management software, potentially causing delays in adoption. Additionally, the reliance on integrations for certain functionalities, such as advanced reporting or specific third-party tools, may introduce complexity or additional costs, which can be a drawback when striving for streamlined project execution within a single ecosystem.

Monday Work Management tackles key project management challenges like disorganized workflows, inefficient communication, manual process inefficiencies, progress tracking difficulties, and inflexibility to diverse project needs by offering a centralized, customizable platform with robust collaboration tools, automation, real-time dashboards, and adaptable workflows. As a PMP, these solutions benefit me by streamlining task management and resource allocation, enhancing team transparency and stakeholder engagement, reducing administrative overhead through automation, enabling proactive decision-making with data-driven insights, and allowing seamless adaptation to various project methodologies.
Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has been a game changer for me. I have so many different tasks to keep up with in my position, some that occur frequently and others that are just once a year. Having the ability to put all of these tasks, and notes, in a single place is incredibly valuable. I love being able to see what I have pending each day, each week and then later. It keeps me on target and ensures I'm not overlooking anything time sensitive. I also appreciate being able to connect other people to tasks so that we can all have the same information at our fingertips.
Getting set up was very easy. The training videos are very helpful to understand how to work in the platform. If there's anything I needed assistance with Customer Service has been very helpful in navigating my issue.
I have tried other project management software tools and nothing works as well for me as Monday.com. I know things would be falling through the cracks without this.

I haven't experienced any downsides yet. I think it's a great tool!

There are so many individual pieces of each project to navigate and it can be challenging to stay on target for each piece without a good program. Monday. com has been that solution for me.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Monday since it was called 'DaPulse'. We still refer to work items as pulses within our processes. We started out as a little website company and Monday has helped us scale to being an international fintech and marketing agency. We could not have come this far without our proven processes that have been built around Monday workflows.

Sometimes our larger boards can get a little slow. However, that is understandable given the amount of data that is being handled.

Monday keeps up with every task within the creative side of the company.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, totally customizable. We use it for both internal and external projects management.
Our clients love it and we avoid so much unecessary emails and information dispertion.

What do you dislike about the product?
The time-tracking could be optimized. That’s the only feature we are still using out of Monday - but it has a dedicated plugin that make the link transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is made through Monday items. Client create items, we assign ressources, discuss details and keep them informed of the process stages.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has allowed us to be proactive in our communication, follow up with precise information in a timely manner, and has allowed us to communicate effectively internally. It is easy to customize, and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you dont get notifications if you dont manually enable those. Its fixable, but you may miss some automations if its not properly set up.

Best tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who designs websites for a living, I live and breathe the prep phase of a project. It’s where clarity meets creativity—and where the real magic starts. So many things to juggle—photos, graphics, sitemaps, files, wireframes, meeting notes. One minute you’re designing, the next you’re deep in email chaos or searching a Google Sheet for that one task. Monday.com keeps projects and tasks in line and keeps me sane!
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial set-up can be tedious, but once you have your system in place, creating it can be fun. I wouldn't say that's a dislike with it, though, more the prep phase of getting everything in place, which is on you to begin with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps things streamlined and in one place and not in email which can be overwhelming and things get lost.

I dislike that when you export data from monday.com from a saved view, it doesnt always save the current view in 1 complete table and saves it in groups .

Team alignment across gloabl teams. This helps with effective and instant communication of requirements.

Monday Boards in Work Management helped me organize and assign tasks with my quality assurance team. I was able to communicate with my coworkers efficiently in other global time zones around the world!
