Helpful Project Management Tool

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Monday.com is that you have the ability to tag team members to ensure accountability and add due dates to ensure things are accomplished on time. I also really like there are so many column types to choose from for tables, along with being able to create dashboards to be able to compare data from different boards. The connecting boards feature is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Monday.com that I dislike is how the column names cannot differ between groups on a board, it would be helpful to be able to display different types of information. I also wish that there was not a connecting board limit of 20 for basic accounts, this would make my workflow much easier. It would also be great to be able to share labels between boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com specially supports me in being able to create grant management boards with key information and tag relevant team members who are executing on that grant. This is helpful because in the past we had all of the grants in one giant spreadsheet, using Monday.com for this tasks is more efficient and effective.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve used several project management tools over the years, but Monday.com has truly been a game-changer. The platform is beautifully intuitive, highly customizable, and genuinely helps keep everyone on the same page — from daily task tracking to long-term project planning.

What we love most is how flexible it is — whether you're managing a complex workflow or just creating a simple to-do board, Monday makes it easy. The automations save us hours each week, the dashboards offer real-time visibility, and the ability to collaborate across teams without constant emails is priceless.

Their customer support is also top-notch — quick, helpful, and genuinely invested in making the platform work for your needs.

If you're looking for a work management system that actually works, Monday.com is it. We can’t imagine running our team without it now.
What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Monday, it was hard to know who was doing what, when it was due, and how it connected to the bigger picture. Projects were scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and Slack threads.

Now, everyone has real-time access to project statuses, responsibilities, and timelines all in one place. Dashboards give leadership clarity, and team members feel more aligned and empowered.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a very versatile product that can be used in numerous industries. If it is not already set up for your industry, it can be designed through automation that you can tailor to your industry and experience. Our company uses Monday every day for tracking project status and posting updates for products. While I have never reached out to the customer service out of necessity, it has always been a pleasure to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike, the integration works flawlessly. There are some random outages, but they are posted on their website. Any issues that arise are usually dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows the executive team to see timelines that production staff set to keep a reasonably timeline. Having the status updates send you an email or slack when a status is changed is game-changing.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday allows us to stay connected as a company, we use it day in and day out and I could not be happier. The automations have made our lives so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of emails we get (self inflicted) would be my only complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to streamline processes which is HUGE in our industry.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has one of the most visually intuitive interfaces out there. The color-coded boards, timeline views, and drag-and-drop functionality make it easy to stay organized. You can tailor almost every element to suit your team’s needs — from status columns and date fields to automations and integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday.com can get expensive fast, especially for smaller teams or startups. Features like time tracking, advanced automations, or guest access may require higher-tier plans. You also pay per user, so onboarding freelancers or external collaborators can strain the budget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication within tasks is smooth — you can tag people, leave updates, attach files, and even integrate with Slack or email. It helps keep conversations in context.
Setting up automations like "when task is marked done, notify X person" can really reduce manual follow-up. They’re fairly easy to configure and cover a good range of triggers and actions.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday Work Management contains a lot of built-in features and modules, interfaces with other software and platforms. Exciting experience to work with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday WM has got too few options for customising report-layouts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The bigger issue is the lack of customisation in reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how simple it is and easy to get started. There are a bunch of templates available to make it easy and so many online resources. You get a lot for what you pay for.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of anything. There are some occasional system downtimes but those are always communicated and cleared up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have about 60 people who work on developing and updating courses on our learning management system. Monday.com helps to track all their work and easily allows for their managers to see where things are. We're a fully remote organization so having a system like Monday.com helps us to stay on track.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Monday.com is how simple it is to learn and navigate. Its tracking features seem limitless, and the automation options have truly streamlined my daily tasks. Additionally, I find it very convenient that I can easily share information with my entire department and company.

So far, I honestly haven't come across any aspects of Monday.com that I dislike.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com's level of customization for its projects and boards supports our business in filling in the gaps that our other software systems are unable to do. The user interface design is very clean and up to date and navigation is generally self explanatory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we would like to easily pull information from Monday.com to use in other programs (i.e. email, word processor, excel, etc.) and its hard to isolate specific information without using a Monday.com workaround which can add additional time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a system for us to manage some of our recurring and ongoing tasks as well as providing a database for us to keep track of various information that would otherwise be stored on an excel.
