Monday.com is an excellent work management tool

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is a great tool for collaborative work among teams. It's very easy to stand up projects, customize fields to suit your specific workflows and build custom automations that help ensure you aren't spending all your time managing tasks in the tool. It gets out of the way and lets you focus on the work. Monday.com is also constantly adding new features and functionality, and are very receptive to feedback. This means that many of the friction points I've discovered in the past have since been resolved.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations on what you can do. Sometimes these are limitations from the monday.com side, other times they're restrictions applied against your account (e.g. if you're in a large Enterprise organization and they've restricted some functionality). For example, I don't have a way to have monday.com send a confirmation email that doesn't come from "me" someone has filled out a monday.com form. It'd be much better to be able to have that come from a noreply email address or something like that. Multi-language support is sometimes lacking, too. That's an area that's been rapidly developing, but still has a ways to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us organization and coordinate a large variety of projects. We have intake funnels for trouble tickets and enhancement requests, and then associated workflows that ensure those things are managed and stakeholders are engaged throughout the process. The tool also allows us to easily create dashboards and other visuals that help senior leaders understand where time and resources are being committed.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps centralize all our information, making it easy to track tasks, updates, and progress in one place. This has improved our organization, reduced communication gaps, and saved us time by minimizing the need to switch between platforms.

Would like to see more engagement features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday Work Management is bridging the communication gap within my team.
With team members working for the same business from opposite sides of the world, communication challenges naturally arise. Monday has helped eliminate those gaps by providing real-time updates, a centralized space to share ideas, and a clear view of our executed tasks. It’s made collaboration seamless, regardless of time zones or location.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the friendly UI and automations the software offers to integrate efficient collaboration within our team. We use the tool every day and love how easy and simple it makes our processes.

So far, I haven't found anything that I dislike

The simplicity and uniform nature of the UI
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of bugs/oversights. The workspace functionality (tries to be like notion), has many bugs that make working in it difficult. Integration with Hubspot has been unsuccessful. Haven't really been able to get real customer service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helpful with organizing institutional knowledge across departments.

Easiest way to streamlining Finance Operations with Monday Work Management

What do you like best about the product?
As an accounting team manager overseeing a range of financial workflows, accurate task tracking and collaboration are crucial to our success. We've been using Monday Work Management extensively over the past years, and it has become a key component of our operational toolkit.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is robust, it does come with a learning curve, particularly for less tech-savvy team members. Some of the more advanced automation and integration setups require either developer support or a deep dive into documentation and tutorials. This slowed our initial rollout and required extra training sessions. It would be helpful if Monday.com provide free in-person training once in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve found Monday Work Management to be an essential tool in transforming the way we handle projects, deadlines, and interdepartmental collaboration. Our accounting operations involve recurring tasks, cross-functional communication with finance and procurement, and strict adherence to timelines—especially during month-end close, audits, and budget planning. Monday has streamlined these workflows significantly.

It does not have a built-in messaging system, which can make direct communication between teams difficult.

Currently, it is the management and control of projects, sales, meetings and visits. Making information and needs more visually accessible for us to act internally.

Customized Business Solutions!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that with Monday's Work Management, rather than having to squeeze a round block into a square hole, we can design our own way of doing things within the system. We have a rather unique business model, so we don't necessarily work well inside a typical task manager. It's perfect for us!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that there were more examples or support for creating a workspace that is truly at its most efficient. I feel like more use case scenarios/examples would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work Management solves many problems for us. First and foremost is transparency between those involved in the same project. We can all see right where we are. Plus, we can have private boards too so that if there are things that don't affect other team members' work, we don't have to clutter up their visual space. More than anything, having automation in place to move things around and such is very helpful.

Work Smarter Not Harder!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use (once I understood it did a whole lot more that my Excel spreadsheets) and my ability to personalize it so that the Boards I created showed how easy it was to implement new Boards to generate the data that I need to successfully do my particular job. I have control such that there are no more missed deadlines, forgotten emails, or lost documents. I have my Work Task Board pinned to my favorites so that I update and/or change my objectives on a daily basis. It also allows me to connect with co-workers to notify them of important information and upcoming deadlines so that they can provide satisfactory customer support to our clients. This also enables co-workers to communicate with me in real time in case of emergencies or questions they have to which they need immediate answers. I love Monday.com!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve that takes focus and concentration. But, once you understand how much data you now control, it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Contract Specialist, my biggest problem was keeping up with the contract's scope of work, the status of deliverables, updating certificates of insurance, maintaining current contact information for all contracting parties, keeping up with looming deadlines, and renewal contract dates. I am now able to keep up with all contracts and communicate with the contract managers via Monday.com regarding their responsibilities, successes and/or failures. It really makes me feel like the phrase on my coffee cup proudly touts, "Boss Lady" in charge.

Very robust features for project management!

What do you like best about the product?
This tool is a game-changer for our project management flow, and we use it daily. We can add our team as guests to see the boards, the projects, and where they are in the pipeline. The automatic notifications and workflows you can set up are brilliant; as soon as one phase is done, the next team member is automatically notified that they can start. The messaging/tagging/updates feature is also invaluable to keep everyone in the loop and ask questions regarding the projects. Monday.com is so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
This might be a feature, but I just haven't found it yet. It would be awesome if you could auto-populate tasks. For instance, for tasks I have to do every week, it would be wonderful if Monday could have it automatically recur so I don't have to add it as a task every week manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me my time and sanity back. It keeps the projects organized and automatically notifies team members when their job is up.
