Recruiting in Minutes
What do you like best about the product?
UserTesting eliminates the need to recruit your own participants by using their panel. This means that we can get test results in hours instead of weeks. It's a game changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is difficult to delete tests once they've been launched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My favorite part of UserTesting is how easy it is to recruit. That is this biggest thing that keeps us with UT.
Good easy experience

What do you dislike about the product?
Having to watch hours of videos and spend all that gime

Powerful user research platform
What do you like best about the product?
Fast user recruitment and helpful support
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be glitchy sometimes. There are some slow loading times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UserTesting helps me gather important user insights on our products. I am able to report data and insights to our team.
Great platform to gather qualitative feedback from the users.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very helpful ans easy to use platform, with a bunch of question options to choose from for qual type of user research. I use it in my daily job and love how intuitive it is. I like how responsive and customer oriented the support team is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime different bugs occur during the recordings, which then might or might not be able to revert and recover the insights gathered. But the team is very helpful in trying to solve any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Along with my need for user feedback in my everyday work, usertesting takes care of all the ND and GDPR issues, research scheduling and I can jump straight to the testing process itself, nor worrying about the legal side or time management.
Great tool, but gets more expensive every year
What do you like best about the product?
The best-in-class remote user testing tool available on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that in the last five years, the pricing structure is increasingly inflexible and expensive. It makes it more difficult to convince leaders to pay for it, which makes testing less accessible than before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Validating designs and mitigating risk
Quick and easy way to access participants
What do you like best about the product?
We have been able to easily access very niche users through user testing with screener questions and participant demographic filters. For most tests, we can get all the participants we need in less than 12 hours and often times quicker than that. UserTesting has streamlined our process beyond what we could have imagined before! UserTesting has also been very active in the research they do on their own platform, which has been very encouraging to be a part of.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features and functionality for quantitative analysis are still pretty lacking. I know they are currently merging with UserZoom that should bring more robust quantitative features though. My only other dislike would be the clunkiness of their highlight reel creation. The flow of creating the reels could be much smoother than it is currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Participant recruitment and expediting test analysis. It has expedited our entire research process by at least 2 or 3 times what it would be without UserTesting.
An invaluable tool for our user research
What do you like best about the product?
We've been leveraging UserTesting.com for our user research needs since 2017, and the service has consistently met our expectations year after year.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perhaps the most critical aspect is the quality of insights we gain from each test. Every session we conduct through UserTesting.com reveals something crucial about our product's usability or user perception, often leading to significant design or feature adjustments.
Great Platform for Conducting Research
What do you like best about the product?
I've used UT throughout the years but most consistently in the last 3. It's a good platform for conducting moderated and unmoderated qual testing with people you recruit from their network as well as with your own customers. It has great features for analyzing sentiment, transcription, creating highlight reels and other details like: word clouds, rankings and time on task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have found that the quality of tester is not great, (in particular they don't speak English well). While it is easy to refund and replace the participant, it adds extra time to complete research. The scheduling tool for some reason doesn't seem to work well with my customers--instead, I get days/time from them and manually schedule them myself. Regardless of platform, you need to start with a good UX researcher who knows how to frame up a proper brief with the kinds of insights you want/questions you want to ask, how to recruit participants that match a certain customer profile, and who knows the fine art of interpreting results and summarizing next steps for the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to course correct some messaging or UX that isn't clear before we run AB tests... I think it has helped improve our success rate with new experiments. I also use it to usability test and interview customers in live conversations
