Workato is easy to use and navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Best part of Workato is the ability to create scripts to automate manual tasks without code . Connections are easy to setup too. This also allows other departments (Non-technical departments) in Grab to be able to use Workato to create automations without having to leverage on IT’s help, thus increasing productivity. Workato is also flexible as it can customise connectors and connect with any applications that exposes their API.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if we can select certain steps and just run those few steps instead of the whole recipe. This is especially helpful when our recipes are too long and we are troubleshooting some parts. Another pain Point is to shift multiple parts of a recipe (Eg like a Ctrl button and choose the steps we want) instead of manually shifting one step at a time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By creating Workato recipes, we are able to automate manual tasks and reduce man hours. Time is one of the most valuable resource of employees, saved time in one area means more time can be put in higher value tasks. Less time can also be spent on routine tasks that requires less mental effort.
Another benefit is that we save on the effort and time required for business teams to explain their business use case to IT and for us to create the automation scripts. With Workato, business teams are able to create their own automation themselves.

Integration with other applications can be done very smoothly with Workato.
What do you like best about the product?
It can easily integrate with the Workplace we use, and sample creation is available. Integration with other applications and the use of APIs can be done through a GUI, making it easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was used to the previous UI, but the new UI is difficult to use. The text for changing actions in the Edit screen is also small. At first, I didn't know how to return from the Edit screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, it is being conducted in a test environment, but since data connection in the on-premises environment is easy, it can be carried out very smoothly from the development side.
A tool that facilitates integration between applications
What do you like best about the product?
The setup of the connection requires assistance from an engineer, but once integrated, if there are built-in actions, even non-engineers can easily manage the integration. The support response is excellent, and if the inquiry is in English, you can expect a preliminary response within a few hours, providing a sense of reassurance.
What do you dislike about the product?
For actions not defined by default, it is necessary to define them using something like CustomAction. As for the pricing structure, options are set for each function, so I think it would be better if the pricing structure were simpler.

System integration via a bot for Microsoft Teams
The best choice for summarizing system integration
What do you like best about the product?
It is a public recipe with a wealth of available connectors and easy-to-understand usage. For example, if you want to connect with Slack, you can easily find a connector for Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
The point is that Ruby is required to create the connector. Personally, I haven't had much experience with Ruby, so I feel that JavaScript might have been a better choice. Also, while the logic itself can be implemented, it seems better not to let Workato handle it directly. I think it would work better to connect it with another system and embed the data transformation logic there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is extremely effective when implementing from scratch or as a gateway when connecting systems. When publishing an API, Workato acts as a barrier, allowing you to conceal internal systems running in the background, which is a significant advantage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When considering making the internal system public-facing, be sure to consider Workato. It allows you to conceal the internal mechanisms and connect simply with other systems.
Easy, Flexible, Dynamic, and Great Implementation Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility & Easy to Manage Tool that allows the client to build the integration design smoothly between two different solutions (in our case it was Shopify and Oracle E-Business Suite R12).
Moreover, the implementation service done in very smooth way and the team was really understanding the client's requirements very well and supported our business needs.
I do highly recommend Workato and I can say we were one family and the environment was very friendly.

What do you dislike about the product?
As per our experience till this moment we didn't face any difficulties in managing the tool or designing our recipes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building an integration middleware that connects our Oracle E-Business R12 with e-commerce (Shopify). The design of integration is planned to work both ways from/to Oracle EBS. In this way, we were able to centralize the creation of items, prices in Shopify to be from Oracle EBS, and also it helped us to synchronize Oracle inventory with Shopify on very reasonable timely manner.

Just have a demo with them and then you will implement it :)
The best tool for Quick Application Integration and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Workato is the ease of use. Anyone with an understanding of their business processes can build automated workflows or integrate applications quickly. Workato can be as simple or complex as you need it to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there's nothing I dislike about Workato. I admit their documentation can be beefed up a little but the product is stable and trustworthy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Workato, I've been able to provide solutions to our business units that existing products might be lacking. For example, our company introduced a new product to offer our customers but the product owner wanted to maintain control and still communicate with sales and legal. Workato allowed me to build an integration using Zendesk to allow the product owner to control the workflow of the process, Salesforce that allows the sales reps to collaborate on the Zendesk ticket, and Docusign to upload applications and contracts then send to legal after execution. Another example is that we use ServiceNow for incident management and developers use JIRA for bugs, issues, etc. Building an integration between ServiceNow and JIRA allows the developer to focus on their work in JIRA and incidents and requests to be updated and resolved based on the actions in JIRA. This is a win, win for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to understand Life Cycle Management.
An excellent tool for Application Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use with multiple connectors , even legacy system. An innovative way to build interface / middleware between applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
maintain recipes can be challenging especially in a team workspace. We juggle between active recipes and cost
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extending the possibilities to allow our staff, especially bus captains , who are without computers to reset his/her password using Workchat. The approach enable use to scale up efficiently , and relieves us of hassle to maintain our password reset kisoks.

A platform that offers the ability to scale up interface easily , with a quick time to market, make it an attractive reason especially in current IT landscape where business user want quick to time product

What do you like best about the product?
Out of the box Workato has connectors to almost any enterprise software app you might be using across all of your departments. It generally does not involve heavy training to use and if you app connector doesn't exist you have the ability to build custom workflows to any proprietary endpoints your company may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. It's fairly intuitive to use, and they have solid documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've automated several critical business processes that typically took hours if not days to complete. We've also drastically reduced data discrepancies by eliminating manual entry in systems such as Salesforce.

Integration Platform with a wide variety of options
What do you like best about the product?
- Extremely responsive support and a very help set of experts to guide the users.
- Lots of connectors already provided
- Flexibility to create custom connectors
- Makes integrations possible even when there are no APIs through on premise connectors.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although Workato provides great number of connectors and good options for cases when there is no connector, more actions can be added to standard connectors. The user interface is really good but some improvements can be made to support more development-like features such as commenting out actions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Workato to perform several integrations with NetSuite, Google Apps, email and other applications. The good thing about Workato is that it is user friendly and makes working with programming concepts much more visual and easy to understand. It is very convenient for users integrating applications that Workato already provides connectors for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is good to check if the application you are trying to connect to have connectors in Workato. Even better to check if Workato supports the actions expected to be needed during integration are supported.
