Great tech support, ease of development

Limits on load time that cannot be raised

Enterprise Level Hosting Product for the Common Folks
What do you like best about the product?
The fluid flow of the UI is fantastic and makes managing a DEV, STAGE & PROD environment as simple as it can be. Non-technincal people could pick it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that nothing stands out as a problem. If I had to choose anything, it's only because I like to get the most bang for my buck. So maybe the cost could be a little cheaper.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, I only have one client on the Pantheon platform. The biggest benefit is that security patches were applied without any need to do something. Another client on another host had to be manually patched and it did get hacked and cost me time to fix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pantheon and Acquia are my top of the list products. Acquia is great, but for my freelance clients I recommend Pantheon. The difference maker being the cost.
The best WP and Drupal hosting platform I've used to date
What do you like best about the product?
The GIT workflow and I can setup a dev environment for a client before paying for an account. Support is fast and excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a personal user, it's a little expensive. But using it with our company it makes sense. I wish there was a cheaper option for personal users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're building a lot of our WP sites in Pantheon and the workflow has proven beneficial to us. Easily backup and push files. Being able to convert to https in the pushing process is excellent as well.
Serious, Modern Web Hosting Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Lando integration for local development. I love having three environments (development, staging, and production).
What do you dislike about the product?
Price. It would be nice to have some less expensive options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rapid and nearly pain-free website development.
Great product tiers, helpful support
What do you like best about the product?
My absolutely favorite feature of Pantheon's platform is multidev. The ability to spin up multiple test instances powered by their own branch allows us to work in parallel on a number of different features and get client acceptance per feature, and then use the regular dev as an integration point.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the architectural choices do leave some restrictions, but Pantheon support generally has a workaround for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a shop that uses a number of different hosting platforms. Compared with other platforms out there, Pantheon feels the most cutting edge, allowing us to utilize new ideas in the Drupal space more rapidly than we are able to with other platforms.

The stand up process is simple, fast, and support offers great insights

What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon is a great host for WordPress and Drupal hosting. The DevOps are top notch. They have dev/test/prod environments with each account and an easy means to promote code and bring the database and files back the other way.

Support at times is a little slow and occasionally unhelpful.

Pantheon takes a lot of the headache out of hosting.

What do you like best about the product?

Being able to manage dev, test and live environments for our clients and not having to constantly think about security on all of our servers. I've come to realize that as much as I love DevOps, I love programming more.

Keep track of how much time you save in devops setup and maintenance.
Great Drupal Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get up and running with a new website. It took me 5 minutes to create a dev site, and it was free. Yes, you do have to pay to go live, but for $35/month, that's not a bad deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting a hold of customer service can be a challenge, and many of their service links don't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working for a place that has no IT department and therefore no hosting available, Pantheon has been a lifesaver. Having dev, test and live environments is crucial.
Making Agile Development Hassle Free
What do you like best about the product?
Having multiple environments all based on GIT make it easy to work with our internal team and external partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the cases where SFTP need to be used, the switching back and forth makes it a bit redundant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing our efforts and preventing overwrites and conflicts between developers and designers.

Just implement it. You won’t regret it.
