Best bang for the buck and top customer service.
What do you like best about the product?
I've been aware of Pantheon since the early Pressflow days where they offered a faster, better version of Drupal than the inventors. They're an engineers company, not just a marketing and sales front.
At the top of my customer's list would be the $20,000 a year in hosting fees Pantheon saved them versus another leading hosting company.
For me it's being about to get customer service within a matter of minutes, compared to most companies that require me to submit a ticket and then wait until they feel like addressing it.
Not only is Pantheon's chat great, but I had one tech spend a couple of hours past his shift end with me to make sure my issue was fixed.
And Pantheon has designed an easy to use management panel that makes bringing up a new site painless. They even offer free development sites to get your site working before being charged.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem I ever have is with the automated updates. It would probably help if I kept my composer files better updated. Fortunately there's a lot of documentation to help me get caught up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The website I support is a major part of lead generation and portal to other vital services for customers. There's great uptime, transparency of network problems, and quick reaction to problems.
My favorite hosting provider after 24 years in business
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon's user interface dashboard is unique. When I started using Pantheon 5 years ago, it was quite different than my background with cPanel's, virtual servers, droplets, cloud servers, etc. But I quickly learned to love the visual interface for pulling git commits across dev, test and custom repos to the live site. I love their security measures and commitment to sub-second page loads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Panthoen is "premium" hosting in that it's not cost-effective for tiny brochure sites. Convincing clients to pay the higher fees is a challenge for small sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pantheon has saved me and the companies I work for literally tens of thousands of dollars compared to previous solutions, simply because they manage the servers and network and don't allow files to be written directly to the live server – not a single Wordpress hack for us on more than 40 sites hosted through Pantheon.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pantheon recently switched their pricing structure and made it more compelling for developers and agencies who work with multiple accounts to receive pricing advantages. I've used multiple tiers with them and their support has always been great.
Solid choise to host and manage your website.
What do you like best about the product?
What I liked about this software is its scalable properties with all the control and handling within a single large cloud-based platform. The various options it offers are of great appeal to developers looking to create web pages with total ease and control in the management of these as well as the automation of tasks through integrations with applications such as Drupal and Wordpress. It has very useful functions such as customizable templates, content lifecycle management, that will help you maintain high productivity at any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not find pleasant was the experience with the official documentation of the tool, this because it is not focused on non-technical users, and even if you were an experienced developer it is a little difficult to analyze. I think this should be changed in the future to help all types of users regardless of their experience in the field of websites development. Some Drupal module doesn't seem to work in the best way with regard to problems with the security policies of Pantheon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a website developer and work mostly using Wordpress, the incorporation of Pantheon as a platform to manage the different websites that I develop and manage has facilitated my day to day given to the excellent way to organize my work , increasing my productivity 24 hours a day. The ability to also work together with other colleagues without causing any conflicts is an advantage that cannot go unnoticed by any web developer. Integration with Git also allows different development environments, something very useful for the installation and configuration of your systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This application is one of the best alternatives for the management of websites, with very fast hosting speeds ideal to have different developers working simultaneously. It is a tool with an intuitive interface and is also very responsive, which offers different functionalities of communication of problems, tracking issues, periodic backups among many other things that help to monitor everything that happens at any time. Customer support is very good, with a quick response to your concerns besides they are super friendly all the time.
The best WebOps of the market, you need to try it.
What do you like best about the product?
What i like about the program is that a versatile tool of content management solution and a cloud-based web hosting, allowing small and large industries to use it to run and manage new web pages without any inconvenience. It provides a centralized platform for users to automate tasks, development in both an on-premises environment, versioning, and many others. I also liked your integration ability with various third-party software like GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Asana, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many bad things you can say about the application, it is very intuitive and easy to start quickly without many problems, it provides not only a solution for web hosting but as an educational and training platform for web developers, using Wordpress for example. But like any cloud hosting-based software, they present their limitations in terms of the resources present in the purchased plan you choose. It really is a good alternative without many obvious points against it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the company where i work we develop business websites with Wordpress for several companies using Pantheon, which facilitates the possibility of providing hosting for a many small businesses that want to have a strong presence online with a professional appearance. It has provided us with an excellent management portal, where it compresses all the activity that we want to monitor in a simple and effective way, totally transforming us in a positive way the form we manage the sites we host.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pantheon is a good alternative to create websites under a controlled environment allowing you to deploy, test and create sites saving you many hours of coding and troubleshooting that is presented in the development process. It's tools are very intuitive and easy to use for any level that the user who is using the program has, in addition to that it has an excellent communication channel to inform and ask for help to any issues along the way.
A complete website design and collaboration environment
What do you like best about the product?
The internal controls and overall design of Pantheon is very neat and organized, which is great when we have to work with many different people that like to work with simple interfaces. We don't have to go through an extensive learning period or initialization phase in order to make Pantheon a part of our development process. I like that we can work with WordPress capabilities since that is one of the main platforms that we use for website development. We occasionally use Drupal as well, so it's great that we can also use that with Pantheon and that Pantheon is structured to suit these types of content management systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes have problems getting new producers or people that don't have a strong technical background involved with using the Pantheon system. The Pantheon type of system is a little bit new to many people and can often take some time to get used to. We may have to sometimes use the Pantheon communications tools in conjunction with traditional email and chat messaging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can generally get web design projects and updates completed with much more efficiency and less redundant communications between parties involved. We can always access the Pantheon platform, which is great since we can work on our own schedule and get things done in a unified way. The pricing is reasonable and has been great in terms of minimizing costs associated with involving other collaboration platforms on top of our main website development platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest taking on a new development platform like Pantheon to possibly improve your efficiency for collaborations and approvals during web design projects. You'll have a full range of design and coding tools and be able to have more advanced visual references to your group's work.
Handles Wordpress very well so, nothing to complain.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to deploy CMS as WordPress and develop workflows with different environments. With phantom you can develop, test and make a prototype in the cloud with several users of your team, this has a great advantage with respect to offline desktop software, because any change is backed up in the cloud, so making inexperienced changes in the code or in the database can be more safe. Also, you can have a schedule backup plans for your environment. CMS hosting is definitely fast and secure, meeting the expectations of large companies. You can access your public environments for your work team or if you want to deploy in private you can set your security to locked with an username and a plain text password.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation is not based on simple learning, its target is for trained and skilled people. I think I should be more flexible in this, because some of the members of the work team may not reach the desired result or an apprentice can use this program without prior training. Another disadvantage about learning with this program is that it is a very specific program on its platform, this means that using another website operation platform will not be the same.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this WebOps platform I was able to host several sites on wordpress and meet customer demand. We can display a large number of wordpress for the creation of blogs and customer contact pages. It is a wonder how this tool controls the database of your hosting sites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a tool with all the features in a single web platform. Highly recommended for developers, marketing agents, IT staff and content creators in large, medium and small companies or simply independent.
I am impressed with this Webops.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is that it is a complete platform in the sense that it has tools to hosting web applications through CMS like drupal 8, drupal 7 and wordpress. The UI shows you clear options of deployment: You can access to three staging environment: development, test, and Live. You can code, manage database and security, etc., in the Dev environment, and test your data and the performance of your work with Test, for last you can go live with Live. You can elevate your workflow with Multidev. I think it is excellent that while you are creating your web environment you can have an automatic backup and have a return point in case of a failure or an error made. The latency of the host pages is one of the best in the market, if not the best, which means, web applications run smoothly on the server. One thing to consider is the free trial that helps you test the features and how to operate this service before you put your website on live.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had problems with customer service for billing reasons, which frustrates my evaluation of this great platform. Changing a plan or a pay method on fly is somewhat difficult because of the quality of the support response. Another disadvantage is its customization, there are few add-ons or extensions to make better implementations. You work with what is already on the platform, which is very good because it simply does not lack anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my company, it is widely used to automate web hosting processes and execute, test, manage and monitor the performance of our intranet applications. We migrated our workflow projects from Drupal 8 to Pantheon and the launch of the applications has been perfect. Our main website is being launched by this product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have no more to say that it is one of the best hosting services for Drupal and Wordpress, and is widely indicated for companies that have large-scale web projects. I think this product is not suitable for independent developers, although its basic plan is cheap.
Automatic tool for content management.
What do you like best about the product?
Allows developers to work together. . I love their terminus program, which makes it easy to script up various things, like making backups, duplicating environments, clearing caches, and operating drush on any site/environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve coming from another provider somehow brings difficulties but once settled it's now working properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's cost effective and brings about intermanagement fluidity.
It has brought balance in our organization

Solid Platform & Support. Helpful tools for monitoring, security. Great on-boarding & documentation.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform and related support monitoring & security tools fit seamlessly into our agile site development lifecycle, allowing us to easily collaborate with Drupal development partners, and focus on features development, user experience. Dashboard makes it easy to manage updates and backups, and monitor all our sites easily. CDN & New Relic monitoring tools are well integrated and help us ensure sites perform well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only available for Drupal and Wordpress sites. Would like an offering for our other WCMS solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved to Pantheon after a security incident with a VPN host. We've found the security difference night and day vs self-managing LAMP on a VPN. Pantheon partnered with us from the beginning to ensure upstreams were configured correctly, and provided useful learning resources for the change in tools & workflow. The result has been a more stable, secure site with more development cycles available for new features and UI improvements.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to do an apples-apples evaluation including the range of integration, performance and monitoring tools offered. Think about how your organization handles security updates, testing, and working with development partners. Consider standardization needs (eg multiple agencies needing a consistent managed base site profile with customizations).
The best technological solutions for my company in a single Pantheon software.
What do you like best about the product?
Personally, what I like the most about Pantheon software are its tools for easy configuration and administration of my company's website, Pantheon not only helped me build my company's website, it helped me build an online presence for dazzle my clients, generate income and improve the experiences of my users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until now there is nothing that disgusts me, all the problems of the website of my company have been solved thanks to the Pantheon software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to its extraordinary configuration capacity with the possibility of rapid development of specific solutions, the Pantheon software helps us in the ongoing maintenance and operations of our website, it provides assistance with new templates, content, development, hosting, updates and security.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation, Whether you have a new software product that you need to build, an existing product that needs to be adjusted, or technological ideas you want to explore, Pantheon Software can help you where needed.
