Review of a powerful platform
What do you like best about the product?
I've been a fan of Pantheon for multidev environments for years now, and while it's always been very enjoyable to work in, it's only gotten better over time. Flexible, straightforward and very easy to use while creating and maintaining sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the site that I'm maintaining, I don't dislike anything - any issues I've had have been a result of the CMS in use and getting it to work properly within Pantheon itself. That's no knock against the platform at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking the guesswork out of a proper workflow is a huge benefit to myself and the client. Ensuring there are always backups to pull from is key. Stellar hosting that is solid and reliable.

Look no further than Pantheon if you need multi dev, amazing hosting and quick, knowledgable support

What do you like best about the product?
2 + years as a pantheon customer and it has largely done what we needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've recently been auto-upgraded twice in quick succession due to the number of page views we have. Their records are more than double everything we can measure and their support team has not been helpful in the slightest. Since signing our contract our pricing has increased 1250% and our page views have increased 2-3x.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Purely web hosting/webops

Be concious that the pricing tiers are opaque and costly

Simple to use, and it works. I could set up a multi-environment server setup with simple one-click deployments.

Nothing to dislike about this service. Easy to use

Removed the need for a devops team, and allowed e to get on with my work.
Pantheon works great for hosting and website management
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon goes above and beyond standard web hosting tools. They provide editing tools that give multiple editors a more efficient means for making shared edits. We can assign various roles to users and set a clear path for edit approvals. I like Pantheon's staging tools. They allow us to experiment with design and functional website changes without publishing live pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pantheon is more expensive than common shared hosting plans. Using the Pantheon environment can be confusing for new users or for clients that want to check out and get directly involved with the editing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our pages load reliably and quickly. We have a unified editing and website management platform that lets us collaborate and make changes in a streamlined way. We can perform trial and error tasks in a safe and complete environment. Some sandbox environments don't always allow for complete code execution, but Pantheon's staging environment is mostly true to the live environment.

Workflow is sometimes "overkill" for certain projects.

It gives a very intuitively and Highly functional dasboard It manages the updates automatically. It also takes responsibility for the security, scalability, and stability of our websites and their contents. Their support team responds very actively.

Initial setup of website is exorbitantly complicated and deployment process was also bit diffcult.

The ease of developing on Pantheon, as well as the stability, makes my life easier. Plus, customer service is top-notch.
