Amazing Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Our business uses Pantheon to host Drupal and WordPress websites and it is a game changer for this industry! We appreciate the ease of use and the support.
What do you dislike about the product?
We dislike that the referral program requirement is so high. We would like to be referral partners but haven't hit that tier yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do not have to manage multiple servers and dev instances. This platform takes care of everything! Once you use this platform, you will never want to use anything else!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Once you try it, you'll wonder why you every used something else!

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to spin up multiple environments with just a couple clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have a lot of outages. Even for business plan customers, there are outages that cause our sites to stop functioning (solr, specifically).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have eliminated the need for employees to stay current on maintaining our servers. It frees up our developers time for use in more profitable areas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go enterprise if you can. The support for their other plans is lacking.

Version control and multidev are very good things
What do you dislike about the product?
Slowness on service at times and lack of Europe servers that makes it hard to keep data on pantheon servers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to sell services. Servers configuration being take out of out hands of developers

Acquia wont provide drupal support to pantheon clients

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy setup without heavy command line work. I hate configuring php modules and installing Drush/WP-CLI so this is a life-saver. It's easy to add freelancers and creating FTP logins is nice. Spinning up a new environment for each developer is easy and they can be merged back into the main development environment with a few clicks. I use command line interfaces, but I prefer to use a GUI where possible.
Also, they have a set up tutorials on Drupalize.me that I have used to help get the team up to date. It was a real time saver.

What do you dislike about the product?
The system is good, but there are little idiosyncrasies with using a platform as at service (PaaS). I learned the hard way that there is a git timeout limit that can affect uploading large files. It's the little items that they don't post in their documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Server set up and maintenance. This allows our customers to own their own hosting but we can still control our environment. Plus we don't have to keep up with invoicing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the trial first. You can build an entire site before paying. After that, sign up as an agency to reap the benefits. Also, they will set up a call and go over the entire process with you and the people on your team if you need it.

What do you like best about the product?
The separation of server environments and how easy it is to move content and code between them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is downtime, but it only lasts for a couple minutes and is communicated well through their status.io page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Affordable hosting done right and the focus on Wordpress and Drupal is perfect for our Agency.
Eases the hardship of sever management for builder and user.
What do you like best about the product?
The deployment system and daily backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of a referral program. The program they have in place is only useful for really big customers. they are failing to provide incentive for the larger market.

I rarely have to "Worry" about my servers anymore. I can focus on the building not the serving

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of the Pantheon platform is the user interface. It truly streamlines our development workflow and makes our job significantly easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have access to customer service over the phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are too many to list. We don't have to worry about infrastructure.

What do you dislike about the product?
cannot itemize the billing per client. I was told this was a limitation of the billing software they use although I am able to produce an itemized invoice very easily, so I guess it's a limitation of their staff or someone just doesn't care enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
hosting speed has improved for clients's sites

as long as you don't need itemized billing for each client's charges, you'll be ok

What do you like best about the product?
The Pantheon platform makes a lot of great functionality available to even basic level service packages. Multidev environments are very easy to spin up. They constantly keep their status page updated too, so clients know if issues come up what is a platform issue and can coordinate with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little to dislike here. The email blasts might be annoying at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Pantheon as a hosting platform for client CMS systems. We provide continuos development, and the platform makes incremental releases very convenient.

Pantheon is a great option.

What do you like best about the product?
Since starting to use Pantheon, We've taken so much work off of ourselves. Pantheon handles all the DevOps side of your workflow and it really frees you up to build great sites instead of worrying about all the server woes that I lived with previously. It's a reliable solid platform which we haven't seen with competitors such as Acquia and WP Engine. It's also an extremely flexible easy to use platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not a whole lot not to like. It is a little confusing to learn about multidev, terminus and some of the other features, but not bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use pantheon to free up our dev's time, and make better products more rapidly. We have been able to support our clients with greater uptime then other hosts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Talk to the sales reps, they're very knowledgeable. You should take a test drive and play with the platform, it's very powerful.
