Best app to manage calls
What do you like best about the product?
Compatibility with all devices is the best thing and it keeps running in the background without using much of battery on phones.User friendly and everytime they update they make it a little more easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I dont like about it is that with some laptops if the headphones are connected it does not give any sound for the incoming call.You can only hear the ring for incoming call if you have the headphone customer service is good but if you have to call them you have to wait atleast half an hour to speak to somebody.obemore issue is that if same extension is logged in on two devices some of the messages which are received on a particular device when another device is offline you can only see the message on that device later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing is that it can be used on the phones so sales team never miss any call.The voicemails, messages and call list are all at one place.Other than that all the voicemails and call recordings are always there im case you need them later too.

I like everything about my Vonage software. Like call management and call routing and handling in one place on my Vonage software

Easy to use and easy to operate.

What do you like best about the product?
I personally love how easy it is to use one phone line basically anywhere. My office computer, home computer, mobile phone, all connected with the one phone line and one phone number that I can be reached at anywhere to never miss a call. It's an easy simple install that anyone can handle with a quick login and you're good to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the program is minimized to the system tray on a windows computer (I use windows 10) when a call comes in it can be sluggish to pull up the window and answer the call. Sometimes taking long enough I'm worried about missing the call or the caller just hanging up, haven't missed a call yet over it but it's been a worry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A simple system usable by all tech knowledge levels in the company for basic phone use. The added features are typically a welcome addition as well. For example the fax option, how often do you you really need to send a fax? Basically never so no one has one just sitting around and online "free" scan to fax aren't such a thing anymore if you need more than one page, Vonage has those kind of features you just don't really think you'd need, until you need it, then it's a massive convenience. As well as tons of features you really do need.

Keep an eye on the updates they release, they often contain very useful features you might otherwise miss.
The Vonage Management Application is GARBAGE
What do you like best about the product?
I like the concept that I can take the phone number where ever I go. That I can call out from my cell phone, as if I am sitting in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call blocking doesn't work; call follow doesn't work; I used to be able to get texts-- now they added a charge for that service, without telling me-- disrupting my work and causing me to lose contacts. All customer service people are in a foreign country. It's just all garbage. I don't believe these reviews are legit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are way cheaper than a landline, and you get what you pay for. Besides being cheaper, using the app to make business calls from my cell phone is nice, when it works.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The application and back-end software consistently has problems. I spend dozens of hours per year with tech support. One day things work, the next day the phone goes straight to voicemail. It's unpredictable garbage, and you'll get help from someone with English as a second language. Total garbage.
Good Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Vonage Business in addition to allowing me to connect with remote coworkers, is that allows me to take/transfer calls between desktop, desk phone and cellphone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was the ability to put personalized away messages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vonage has made it much easier to work on the go with the ability to connect with anyone from so many different communication medium.

For companies with a lot of remote workers, this is a great solution.

I like that this service is cloud based. Prompt support 24/7.
What do you dislike about the product?
Administration is mostly done by Vonage which has upsides and downsides.

One less physical server to worry about in house.

What do you like best about the product?
We are able to use this as VoIP - Which allows our remote employees to work on the same network
What do you dislike about the product?
Users have to be an admin to have detailed call reporting which they check their calls daily

We didn't have any problems to solve with Vonage.
Unreliable
What do you like best about the product?
I like the concept behind all the features, but have been unable to see them work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't work. Calls do not show up on my dashboard and the calls that do get through tend to drop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at the moment.

Until they fix the app, don't waste your time or your money.
Excellent Communication
What do you like best about the product?
I like to have access to my work line when out of the office. Vonage has a different ringtone so office calls are easily identified
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes 1-3 seconds for the phone call to connect after you have answered the call through the vonage app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vonage has made being away from my office phone a lot easier. When waiting for a call, I can run to grab lunch and never miss a call
Simple and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's not complicated, very user friendly. I can see the faxed documents in or out page by page. Contacts can be labeled from messages or calls, doesn't matter. I can also set up a message from the call page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't seem to recv or send pics. Could be a setting though?. Everyone on Vonage can see everyone's fax business or personal. There's no way to prevent that other than a cover page, it could help some but doesn't solve that issue. Also, with me as an admin I would like the option to pull calls more than 60 days out. Currently I have to get the boss to do that. Doing this on my own without any help would be tons of saved time, not having to bother the boss. Saved time for us both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contact is made easier for customer and agent. Close sales faster. I get answers to questions really quickly by text from customers. It saves me from a phone call and them from being interrupted.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use the app more during the business day. It's easy to see all messages, calls and faxes that are coming thru. I've had no complaints since with the system since I started using Vonage Business in 2017.
