Easy sharing and backups
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has an intuitive dashboard for convenient uploading, storage, and sharing. By dragging and dropping, you can upload files seamlessly. It's an excellent software for creating backups of essential files and securely storing them on the cloud. You can retrieve them when needed or keep them on Dropbox forever. Using folders, you can move your files to them and keep them properly organized. You can generate a URL for the files you upload to share with users. Otherwise, you can invite them to access the file using their email address. You can request files from any user, and the files they send will go directly into your cloud storage. Dropbox also supports file transfer, using which you can send files to users without uploading them to your storage first. You can add files of any format on Dropbox, and Dropbox allows you to preview some types of files on the cloud. Dropbox is excellent for creating and working on documentation, presentations, projects, and efficient work management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox only has 2GB for free in terms of cloud storage. Unlike OneDrive and Google Drive, this is very inefficient for long-term use as you'll only be able to keep a limited number of files there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While working remotely, I use Dropbox regularly to send files to my team online when needed. We rely on Dropbox for sending and receiving files quickly for file reference and completion of projects. Dropbox is very secure, making it convenient for us to transfer confidential and essential files without falling into any unauthorized user's hands. Dropbox has reduced our need for offline documents, spreadsheets, slides, etc., as we can use them on the cloud simultaneously and collaborate on them. Dropbox being usable on multiple devices makes it easier for us to share and store files seamlessly from anywhere. I also use Dropbox to transfer files from my laptop to my computer and vice versa. Regardless of any user's distance, Dropbox is excellent for file sharing and helps us become more productive without any hassle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is free, but you only get 2GB of cloud storage. If this is insufficient for you, I recommend Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive instead. Otherwise, Dropbox is excellent for sharing and long-term file storage.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to use and organize files. I use it both personally and for work. Others can add or edit as you allow, and everything is searchable. I can rename files and share them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much I don't like. I can't think of anything that's missing. It's not necessarily asthetically pleasing, but it is minimal and simple. I have't tried editing the same file simultaneously recently, so I can't speak to that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm storing files for both personal and work (I have different accounts), and my files are always with me and easily accessible. I'm able to add and change and adjust files, and it saves right away so others can see changes. I even have it downloaded on my computer.
Reliable and secure file storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use Dropbox and its straightforwardness. It's an excellent file storage platform with quick uploading and downloading means. You can use it on your computer, mobile phone, and web browser for file storage. Under the same account, you can use Dropbox to transfer files on multiple devices with ease. You can create folders for adequately organizing your files, and you can also have shared folders and invite users to view and edit the files in them. You can send files to any user with the unique URL to each file, or you can ask them to view and download them via email. Dropbox is excellent for collaborating on files as you can simultaneously edit them with others. You can use Dropbox Paper to create documents of any kind, including spreadsheets and slides. Dropbox is excellent for its additional features, such as managing work tasks and passwords. You can create lists for different sections of your projects and assign users for each part. You can set deadlines and to-do lists for better time management and reminders. You can use Dropbox for free, where you're allotted 2GB of storage. You can upgrade this to several TBs for affordable subscription prices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Dropbox. It's fantastic for storage and collaboration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently work from home, and Dropbox has made it easier for me to share files with my coworkers. We use Dropbox religiously to collaborate on coding files and projects from the web browser. We have files on shared folders that anyone in our team can access and edit, which eliminates the need to download them to our computers to edit. Dropbox is usable on any device, making it easier to use and share files anywhere. Its swiftness in allowing us to transfer files saves us plenty of time and become more productive as there is less time wastage on waiting for email attachments. Unlike email attachments, which have a slight limit on file sizes, Dropbox comes with a minimum of 2GB, making it convenient to share large files quickly. For sharing files that exceed Dropbox's limit, you can use the File Transfer feature or ask the other user to request a file. You can then send them large files seamlessly. Dropbox is pretty secure and comes with the feature to recover deleted files. By default, you can have up to a month to retrieve any deleted file. Overall, Dropbox is excellent for file sharing, storage, collaborative features, and Dropbox Paper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is free from the get-go with no credit card requirements or free trials. You can start using it by signing in with LinkedIn or Gmail and uploading files seamlessly. If you've never used it before, I highly recommend Dropbox for storage.
The convenient cloud storage at low cost
What do you like best about the product?
Sharing files or any type of document via Dropbox is just great. We can upload files to our storage and share the link with other users. Giving access to an individual or my team is very easy—now no need to carry the pen drive and hand it physically.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we know, it's free to use, but there are limitations. It would be good if they could increase the free usage a bit. The individual plan price could be a bit less. Other than that, the UI is a bit nonuser-friendly. It can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox gives me secure access to the files from anywhere in the world. I can collaborate with my team, friends, family, and clients from any device. Dropbox saves my time. It's very easy to share updates whenever you want.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As you know, Dropbox is free to use for an average user. You can start with the free version, and I must say that you will buy the premium package. I can say that this is the best application to store, share, and back up your files on the cloud server. The best thing is that it has an excellent mobile app which makes it easier for you to access and share files any time and anywhere.
I have been using an external hard disk or pen drive to present a project to my team, but Dropbox helped me get rid of the traditional way of carrying a pen drive or hard disk.

The OS friendly cloud storage platform for storing our doc, pdf, text and any format files
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and allows to store any type of file from any device, irrespective, widows / Android / IOS. The Professional allows up to 3TB of Data for almost $20/month.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inbuilt systems now offer their cloud storage, and that's easier, though, as they show that option as default when we try to save from our device. And Some editing options are not there, like editing a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No need to buy memory in our device as that will add a minimum of $50 to our device cost. It is easy to use and has Password protection, deletes from any device, and many more. It keeps improving itself.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We can use and store our professional files, easily protect them, share among team members, delete them from multiple devices if given permission, independent of device OS, and universal to mobile/ desktop. The memory allocated is unbeatable for this price.
Great source to drop large size files and photos
What do you like best about the product?
It doesn't clog up your email and it's a fast and easy way to send and recieve large sized photos or file you would not be able to email or send otherwise. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to pay for extra storage once you reach a certain threshold. I quickly filled up my dropbox and unless you want to delete files permanently then you have to pay for upgraded storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I send and recieve large photos and documents with my clients. It's great, especially for large photos. It retains the size and resolution without cutting down on quality. I use it every week and have never had any problems. You just invite via email who you want to share the files with and you can also choose if you want them just to "view" or be able to "edit".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for people sharing large files or photographers and social media companies.
Security and convenience all wrapped in one through Dropbox in delivery of large volume data
What do you like best about the product?
The encrypted data storage facility of 300 Gigabyte guarantees a huge storage facility and accommodates all kinds of media. High security comes handy in safeguarding our IP address. The cross-device sync adds convenience ensuring working everywhere on any gadget.
What do you dislike about the product?
The signing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on Dropbox can compromise organization and go against business intelligence. This aspect needs to be revised for organizational security
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had challenges sharing videos and applications online between teachers and students. Some online platforms and email handling does not allow for applications to be transferred, Dropbox provided the much-needed storage, sharing facility.
Great software for storing and sharing files securely and easily
What do you like best about the product?
I loved that I can give customized access to my clients in sharing my files hassle-free. Especially a feature I liked is I can recover files within 30 days which is deleted or trashed. I liked the feature of getting my files organized and synced from anywhere with ease and fast. Dropbox is very helpful in sharing files within Team management and data security for its access to insights. Many productivity tools help to be more productive in the workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in it which I disliked. But I wish that they may bring more online file editing tools and I wish they increase the more customizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I store my most important and frequently needed files which helps me to get them easily from anywhere. And it benefited me very well in sharing the work with my clients and friends easily. I liked using its file categorizing structure which is very handy to find and organize the files easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I surely recommend it for easy-to-use and secure cloud storage and files sharing.
Dropbox - an essential service I've used for beyond five years now.
What do you like best about the product?
Unquestionably, what I like the very best about Dropbox is its unerring reliability and its facility of rapid use. Honestly, seldom has more than a week gone by in the last five years when I haven't accessed my Dropbox account. I use it on desktop and mobile, but generally, most often in the latter capacity. I haven't even yet upgraded to Professional, but the basic (free) edition still has suited my needs perfectly adequately. I like Dropbox in and of itself so much that I've never yet felt the need to investigate any other cloud storage company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I seriously can't think of much that I dislike about Dropbox. I suppose if I had already reached the data limit with the free version I use, then that would be something to dislike, but it hasn't happened thus far to me. The only thing that has ever caused me the slightest amount of difficulty with Dropbox is an inability to access files while mobile without a wi-fi connection. This issue, however, is not the fault of Dropbox; it's always because I'm either out of wi-fi range or else out of data. Furthermore, were I to upgrade, I'm reasonably sure I'd then have access to plenty of offline storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've found Dropbox an essential tool in the testing of audio files in my car stereo, such as to compare audio with which I'm currently working with other professional-grade audio recordings. It's very convenient for me to do so, and I've yet to configure any other method that offers the ease and simplicity of using Dropbox on my phone, and connecting it wirelessly to my car stereo via Bluetooth. As far as I have been able to tell, the fidelity of audio files (.WAV files) when played back through Dropbox is excellent.
DropBox makes Collaborating Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes it easily collaborate with a team. The integration with Mac makes it smooth to share and collaborate with a team. We tried utilizing box, but it did not have the abilities that dropbox had.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Dropbox is that the sharing capabilities are a bit limited if I want to have a public file listed on the website. Sometimes the link will stop working.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it makes our team collaborate easier by setting designated folders where we need creatives. It helps when we have team members working from home, and the connection between us is instant.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox I think is a staple in the cloud sharing community. One of the first to introduce file sharing with ease. Many have tried to copy what they have done, but i think they have solidified their space with their sharing capabilties.
