Dropbox is an easy way for me and my entire team to upload and share files. I appreciate that I can use it from my phone or from my desktop, and that it accepts multiple file types. I find that Dropbox is easy to use and that files are easy to organize. I like that Dropbox works well on a Mac or a PC, as we have team members who use both types of computers. I think the historical features within Dropbox are nice - I have had no problem recovering accidentally deleted files, previous versions, etc. I also feel that Dropbox is worth the cost - they have so many plan options that it's easy to choose one that fits the uses you need and your budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the protection features difficult to understand. This could certainly be user error, but I wish there were clearer instructions on how to protect folders from others viewing them. Other than that, I have had zero issues working with Dropbox and I cannot think of any other dislikes!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox presents two significant advantages to its clients: work process improvement and predictable component redesigns. As far as the previous, Dropbox's consistent application combinations and progressed community elements can assist you with expanding your group's usefulness and proficiency.
Dropbox's obligation to consistently add new administrations and elements demonstrates that the distributed storage supplier continually looks to improve. We also love a choice on its site for clients to impart new features to the Dropbox group.
While it isn't progressive, Dropbox's straightforward interface is worth focusing on. Setting up a record is a breeze: you should pick an arrangement and download the Dropbox application on your work area or portable. Dropbox will likewise completely incorporate into any working framework. Past these qualities, nonetheless, Dropbox leaves us longing for additional, mainly when the assistance sees a more excellent cost tag when contrasted with its rivals. We were annoyed that Dropbox doesn't offer zero-information encryption even as an extra element. Be that as it may, we were left much more frustrated by its hit-or-miss client care and sub-optimal transfer/download speed.
Taken together, Dropbox is a wonderful choice for clients who focus on capacity, highlights, combination, and convenience. Assuming that you manage exceptionally tender documents or now and again need to download and transfer incredibly enormous records, notwithstanding, another distributed storage supplier might ideally service you.

Dropbox vs Box -- the choice depends on what you use it for
What do you like best about the product?
For me, Dropbox storage is free and has been since a free permanent 50GB Dropbox account was included with the HP Touchpad tablet I bought in 2011. Not a bad deal, really. Each time I log into my Dropbox, they advertise an offer for a paid upgrade and each time I decline the offer. For what I use it for, the 50GB storage I have at Dropbox is fine and probably will be for the foreseeable future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have both Dropbox and Box for online file storage and syncing. I use my Box account far more often than I use Dropbox. I tend to prefer the way Box syncs files between devices over the way Dropbox does it. I typically use Dropbox as an online bucket for data I don't look at very often but don't want to delete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox works for me as an online catch all storage solution. It's also pretty good as a place to store a large file or set of files then send a link for someone outside my company to download. I've probably used that feature of Dropbox more than any other over the years.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is a very workable online storage solution. I use it as an online bucket of data that I can use to send out links to my customers when I need them to access larger files. Very easy to use.
Not super happy
What do you like best about the product?
I wouldn’t say there’s one specific feature that stands out as my favorite, but I do have a bit of feedback. When we transitioned from Box.com to Dropbox, the implementation process was more challenging than expected. The user interface felt a bit awkward and not as intuitive as I hoped, which made the switch a bit harder than it needed to be. That being said, I’m sure with more time, I’d get more comfortable with it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few aspects of Dropbox that I find a bit frustrating. For one, the way it syncs with files on your computer can be risky—if you accidentally delete something in Dropbox, it’s also removed from your computer, which can be annoying. Yes, you can recover it, but it’s an extra step I’d prefer to avoid.
Another thing I find tricky is the left-side menu layout. It’s harder to locate starred or favorite folders/files compared to Box.com, and when you click on "Home," it only shows the most recent files or folders rather than giving you an organized list of everything. To see a complete list, you have to go to "All Files." It's not the end of the world, but the layout doesn’t feel as user-friendly, and I personally preferred the setup on Box.com. If I had the option, I’d likely stick with Box for ease of navigation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides a centralized space for our team to share files both internally and externally with customers, which helps streamline collaboration and access. While it meets our basic storage needs, the user interface and layout could be more intuitive. Personally, I don’t find much direct benefit, as the platform feels clunky and could be better optimized for ease of use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I personally would steer someone to use Box.com rather than Dropbox.com. To me, the layout of the whole thing is way better. Also, the ease of use of their online services isn't as good as Box.com.
Dropbox is a platform that client as well as my company like to use when sharing files.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is easily accessible to both the client and my company. You are able to make folders within Dropbox that coincide with the files you are putting in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing that become a setback when we first started using it as a company was for certain clients, we had to use a Dropbox business manager login to access the files. At first, it was difficult but now we are able to use it freely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we are solving with Dropbox is being able to share files in one easy place other than just email, where files can easily get mixed up with the day-to-day items.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation would be to make sure that your company has a Dropbox business profile just in case you need it.
Enjoyable experiance
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go anywhere and have my files right there no matter what computer I'm on. As a writer, this makes keeping my manuscripts accessible, and it doesn't matter that I'm not on my original PC.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond that it has such a low storage cap for the website. The only way to get more is if you have the primium. It isn't too expensive; it's just not ideal for some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I'm solving with dropbox is that I don't have to remember to take my thumb drives with me when I go out of town. It makes writing on the go a lot easier, and I don't have to remember the hardware all the time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's perfect for those on the go. Your files are right there, no matter what you are currently using.
Fantastic storage
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is intuitive and free to use. It's an excellent website to store essential files, which you can keep forever and share at any time. You can organize and sort your storage with the help of folders. You can share any file using the URL and send it to anyone, and the recipient doesn't need to have a Dropbox account to download your file. You can rename, delete, and edit any file in your storage. If you create shared folders, you can permit other users to do the same for the files in the folders. Dropbox sorts photos into a separate category to view them more straightforwardly. You can initiate file requests to any user via email and receive files quicker. Dropbox has a streamlined way of showing you all your most recent and starred files for easier access. You can use Dropbox to collaborate on docs and software code. Dropbox is not only available on the browser but also on PCs and cellphones. You can seamlessly send files between the same account on more than one device for efficient transfer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike any aspect of Dropbox. I've been using it for many years, and it's been an essential cloud storage software in every regard. The fact that it's free makes it even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is my go-to software for sharing files with colleagues during work sessions. Due to its speed and efficiency in sharing files, Dropbox is a software without which we cannot work. It makes it easier for us to send files securely and monitor their activity. At any time, we can remove the file from the storage, making it impossible to access or make it private so that unwanted users cannot access it. For its storage, Dropbox offers a minimum of 2GB, which you can use to store files without any duration. Your files will stay on the cloud forever until you delete them manually. Dropbox promotes the excellent organization of files through folders. You can create folders or upload them from your device. Alternatively, you can use Dropbox's automation to let it control the organizing and converting of your files. You can set an automation for Dropbox to move files to folders based on categories. You can have Dropbox rename the file or add a prefix and move it to a folder. You can convert a file into PDF, image, or video, if applicable. For any zipped folder that you receive or upload, Dropbox can also automatically unzip them into your desired folder.
We use Dropbox to work as a group on projects and software codes. Simultaneously being able to edit the files on the cloud saves us time and boosts our efficiency in getting our daily tasks done. Through several tools, we can improve our task management and time management for any project we complete. We can invite participants to join our team and access our files, after which we can monitor their contributions and file editions. Whenever needed, we can revise any edits we make and bring back the original contents with simplicity.

It's excellent and trustworthy, and unlike Google Drive, it doesn't show any personal information of the file owner, such as email addresses. Your files will have maximum security, and you can always access them from any device of your choice.
Excellent for File Storage and Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
The syncing across devices, coupled with sharing folders or files with others. Also, the ability to set security around the file/folder being shared. I have tried other options and found Dropbox to be far superior.
