Dropbox is the ideal file storage option.

What do you like best about the product?
We can't function without Dropbox. We have everything we need there, so we're comfortable backing up our files. As a result, we are able to sleep well at night. We're not afraid to address a letter to several recipients in the same document. It's a great tool, and it's also quite simple to use. The ability to quickly and easily share a critical document with the whole company is another benefit of using Google Drive. Easy and efficient communication may be had. The smartphone app works perfectly, is really well-optimized, and is quite user-friendly. Dropbox may be used without being logged onto a computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
A slow Internet connection won't speed up the process of uploading large files. Everything in the office runs slowly for some reason that I have yet to discover. The adjustments might take some time to sync up. This sort of program needs a few little tweaks to be excellent, in my opinion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Dropbox Business edition is a breeze to use. Having many individuals working on the same material at the same time greatly enhances productivity. You can take notes or revise a report during a conference. With the Zoom integration, you have an ideal collaborative work environment. Our organization relies on Dropbox to keep all necessary papers, so we make sure to back up all of our programming files there as well. Because the security is so good, we can always get in when we need to without having to worry. The two-factor authentication is an additional layer of security that may be particularly handy for sensitive account transactions. The design is easy to understand, intuitive, and practical. Everything you need may be found in this app. No extraneous animations disturb the experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend it, it is an easy-to-use program and its cost is not very high

Good collaboration and file backup platform

  • April 13, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox offers many free features on its platform, it’s an essential tool that you can take full advantage of as a user. You can use Dropbox for many different reasons, such as backing up important files, temporarily saving files to the cloud, cleaning up space on your hard drive, transferring files, collaborating, managing your tasks, sharing large amounts of data and creating documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
I admit I didn’t have any real problems with Dropbox. It has always been a great experience to make use of this application for sharing training resources except that the desktop application is not multi-tasking, you can only download the files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I store a lot of training data through Dropbox. This makes it easy for me to quickly download my files from one medium to another while leaving backups at my cloud level. The speed with which this tool is used during download is a considerable advantage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Dropbox to my business contacts because it’s simple for storing and downloading.

Easy to use cloud storage and backup

  • April 12, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to recover after my computer crashes. I rebuild windows and connect to dropbox. Install the app and my files are all restored to where they were just before the crash happened.
What do you dislike about the product?
In todays cost for storage I would like to see more storage space included with the plans. I know 2 TB sounde like a lot but if you've downloaded movies from iTunes that can be eaten up fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files that may be too big to send via email through dropbox is quick and easy. Rich click the file and create the link. Send this to the person you want to share with and you are done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They offer a 2TB free plan to test out the service. Try it out and see.

Dropbox was revolutionary for me

  • April 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox works similarly to my computer's folder and storage system. The account design is neat and pleasant to view, which is great when I have to use it often. The cost is good for our budget. We get loads of online storage space with indicators on our capacity status. We can add several users to share documents and collaborate on documents, designs, code, videos and other media. Dropbox can integrate with almost every major online software I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've used Dropbox for many years and haven't had any significantly bad things happen with it. Of course, if someone gets ahold of my password then that can be a problem. They could delete or download my files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File management and sharing are much more flexible with Dropbox. When we have to work on projects with other team members or clients, Dropbox is an effective way to share files quickly. We can organize files into folders meant for particular groups or activities. I spend less time trying to obtain files and more time working on completing my work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Dropbox.

A place that keeps my important files safe forever

  • April 11, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that it has a free version, and it's a choice if you want to upgrade your space or not. Integration with Office 365 and Google Workspace, smart sync using smart storage, and block-level transfer capabilities are useful in helping you store data at ease. I have used dropbox for some time now, and I don't think I am going to change anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to complain about, but I think the free account could use more space, and the paid plan is quite expensive. But thinking about it, it's worth it if you need ample storage all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My files are always secure regardless of computer crashes and unforeseen situations. Cloud computing, transferring files to dropbox, and sharing access with my partners are all possible using the software. I can access my files centrally, and I can access them remotely. I would recommend it to writers, photographers, and musicians.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox may seem too expensive at first, but you will see the long-term benefits once you get a plan. I am still to purchase a paid plan, but so far, so good.

The best software for collaboration

  • April 07, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is the best platform for cloud storage and collaboration. If you're a user of Dropbox, you can gain access to Dropbox Paper for free. Dropbox Paper allows you and your team to create content together on the cloud using many tools to assist you. You can store your files in a single platform that you can access from any device. You can create backups for important folders and the changes will be synchronized throughout your account. You can collaborate on content creation files from MS Office, Google, and more easily on Dropbox. Having all your work in one platform makes it convenient and reduces any dependence on multiple windows at the same time. Dropbox Paper makes it easier to stay organized as you can also integrate applications like Zoom and Slack to have a better workflow. Dropbox Paper ensures you're notified of all the changes and updates made by your team. For any shared file that gets edited, Dropbox notifies you and you can view all the activity in an organized manner. The best part about Dropbox Paper is that there's no limit to how many documents you can create as long as your storage space isn't completely used. But since the documents are very light, the storage space is the least of your worries. Dropbox also has a separate application on mobile phones for Paper, allowing you to access your documents even without an internet connection. You can make edits to the files and the changes will automatically be reflected on the cloud when you're connected to the internet again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unlike the files saved on the cloud storage, Dropbox Paper doesn't keep a revision history on the projects you save. So if you want to revert the document to its previous content, you'll be in a tough position of having to do so manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Dropbox to collaborate and manage all our work in one place. Its integrations allow us to unify all the platforms we use so have an easier working space without having to switch between multiple applications. With Dropbox Paper, we're able to stay in sync and communicate easily. It allows content sharing in any form, including pictures, videos, and files. For any project we're working on, we can add deadlines and to-do lists so that we have a proper roadmap to stay on track with our work. Dropbox Paper allows simultaneous real-time editing of documents and sheets, which we can do on any device. On mobile devices, after we've viewed the document at least once, we can access and work on them offline. This is incredibly beneficial when we're data-limited and helps us preserve some data when we're on the go. Dropbox Paper allows us to leave comments on each edit and changes made to the existing projects, where we can give thoughts. We can also create new templates and use them for each document to save time in setting them up. This feature helps a lot when we're working on financial reports for each month where the top columns have the same format in each sheet.

My team and I use the Standard plan of Dropbox, which gives us up to 5 GB of storage space. We never have to worry about running low on space as we're only working on documents, which take up mere kilobytes of space. We can have as many users as we want to have access to the team files, which aids in collaboration through shared folders. For team management, Dropbox provides us with an admin console to keep track of each change made by the authorized users in our projects. We can also have infinite access to the API of security platforms. The best part is that we can have live chat and phone support for any issues we run into, for which we can get a resolution immediately.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is an excellent platform for collaboration and storage, allowing you to bring your work online and in a simplified environment where you can work with your team in real-time. You can use Dropbox Paper, a free extension of Dropbox to work on projects and more. I've been using Dropbox Standard, a business plan under my company. But you can use Dropbox for free from the get-go, which is a good start to see if you'll find it useful.

A safe platform to save files

  • April 01, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is free and has an intuitive UI. You can access it on any device to save and retrieve files at any time. It's an effective cloud storage solution due to its permanent uptime, so your files are always with you. You can use Dropbox for many different reasons such as backing up important files, saving files temporarily on the cloud, cleaning up space on your hard drive, transferring files, sharing a large amount of data, collaborating, creating docs, and managing your tasks. Dropbox offers all of these features on the platform for free, which you can take full advantage of from the get-go. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Dropbox for storage and sharing. For backing up small files, especially for programmers, Dropbox is as quick as it gets. It takes a matter of seconds to upload the files, after which you can move them to a private folder that only you can access or to a shared folder to allow your colleagues to view them. You can also use the built-in bot to sort your files as needed based on certain criteria. File sharing on Dropbox is pretty easy and instantaneous. After you upload a file, you can share it with the link that Dropbox generates with anyone, allowing them to download it. Unlike Google Drive, Dropbox doesn't show any information about the account or the email address, ensuring high safety.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm pretty happy with Dropbox and have no issues whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is our team's primary solution for sharing files and saving our company project files and services on the cloud. We've switched to Dropbox to save most of our work because Dropbox allows us to edit and save text files and documents on the cloud directly. Rather than downloading the file, making changes, and then re-uploading, we can save a lot of time and effort by working on the file directly on the cloud. We can also collaborate on them, which is by far one of the best features Dropbox has to offer for businesses. When we're working on the file on a local system and we save the changes we make, there's no way to undo them unless the window is still open. But Dropbox, on the other hand, keeps a history of all the changes made to the files so that we can undo them if the situation calls for it. This is very helpful in rare instances where there's a miscommunication or we run into a bug in the code we're trying to compile and want to brainstorm to fix. We rely on share folders to make files accessible to our entire team, which is far easier than everyone having access to the same account, which can also pose a security risk.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've had a great working experience with Dropbox. My team and I continue to use it daily to share files and work as a team, which has been an absolute time-saver. I strongly recommend Dropbox as a storage solution because it has more to offer than Google Drive, except storage space.

Easy file transfer

  • March 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is seamless to use and get around as it's one of the most user-friendly cloud storage software you can find. It supports easy file storage that you can use by dragging and dropping the files you want to save. Dropbox can be used for freeing up space on your computer, making backups of essential files, moving files between multiple devices easily, sending files to other people, transferring files in bulk through excellent compression protocols, collaborating on docs, saving confidential data with password protection, and task management. You can view photos and videos you upload in the Dropbox Photos gallery, where all the media files will be displayed in a grid form. Dropbox allows you to make file requests to other people, where you can write a title on what the request is for and select which folder you want the files to be uploaded to. With Dropbox Pro, you can also set a deadline. This feature is incredibly helpful for schools and colleges in setting deadlines on assignments and essays. File requests are easier on Dropbox not only to receive but also to send files in bulk. You can also send files that normally exceed Dropbox's default limit for space. You can also create shared folders in which any file added will be made accessible to authorized people whom you can invite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is limited not only in storage but collaboration options. The website is sometimes slow in loading or uploading files or doesn't show the file after you've uploaded until after you refresh the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is my go-to for backing up files for work, uploading files to save more space on my computer or phone, transferring files from my computer to my phone for sharing on mobile apps, and working on cloud-based projects. It makes our work portable since Dropbox allows us to code and edit text files on the cloud platform without requiring us to download them onto our systems. This allows us to work on the go on our phones or tablets until we have consistent access to a computer. We can use Paper to code and create flowcharts for algorithms and strategize our work. Dropbox makes it easier to set deadlines and to-do lists, similar to Trello but offers more for a work environment since it also supports storage and transfer. The benefit of Dropbox is easily its quickness. We can upload and send files in a matter of seconds, which has never been possible through any means before. In essence, quick file transfer makes us get back to our work faster, thereby saving us time and being more productive. I also use Dropbox on my phone, where I can transfer files with my computer whenever a client sends me attachments via WhatsApp.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've never used Dropbox or are considering it, go ahead by all means as it's free and you can sign in immediately using Google Drive and skip the registration altogether. Dropbox gives you 2 GigaBytes of space initially, which you can always upgrade if needed.
