Great tool to store all files
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to upload my files from one device and then continue working on them from another as well as being able to do it from a completely different location.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to constantly mangage your storage can be a pain if you are trying to avoid upgrading your plan to a higher tier but it is very easy to manage and keep track of it,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this to have continued access to all of our files and projects to ensure we are getting the most out of our time as we can. It has worked well for us so far.
Dropbox is simply one of the best storage tools out there!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative features of dropbox. Every time someone makes an edit or changes a file, the entire team get a quick notification about it. I don't think a lot of other softwares can match these small but meangingful features that dropbox has. It keeps me updated in real-time and lets me know if I need to get in touch with anyone for any of the files they might have worked on, or changed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the synchronizations are a bit problematic at times. Sometimes, the app auto syncs and floods my system with files and folders that I may not need at all. Considering how big our teams are, I think this can sometimes be quite a bummer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is solving a lot of problems for a central repository and collaboration of cross-functional teams. I have used a plethora of repository tools, and all of them come with massive loading issues. Off the top of my head, I can think of the subversion (SVN) systems that used to create a lot of problems for our organization. With Dropbox, all of those problems have been mitigated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dropbox is great to use, and while it takes a little time to understand how to sync only those folders that you need, it is a smooth ride once you learn the ins and outs of the tool!
Best app to transfer files
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a really good app because i can send files too big to other people, i appreciate the way to use because it is to easy to use, i think is the best option in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that other people had to sign in to download some files i uploaded before. Maybe it could be a good change to make in the future to improve the application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solve a lot of problems i had like to send files big enoght, this can be a great option to busyness where people have to trade with files and make them more productive.
Its really helpful for storage.
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox Windows application is the best feature I have come across so far. It's easy to use and user interface is very simple which makes this application run smoothly on any system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike about dropbox is its storage limit for free users. It is only 2GB. It seems to be enough for the era before 2020 but now its 2022 and 2GB is very less. It should be atleast 5GB now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps us save our data instantly without any hurdles. The chances of data loss are minimal when using dropbox. This tool is very powerful with simple and userfriendly interface.
Works well across devices
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is so in tune with multiple OS, mobile and desktop platforms. The smartsync is a huge storage saver on a Macbook SSD with a premium on HD space.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see larger storage capacity for the money. My video files backup is migrating slowly to idrive. 10Tb would be good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to files wherever I am. This is a major productivity advantage. In tandem is mobile Office, I can proof read a doc on the fly or send a large file instantly. Important when working with media.
Secure storage and seamless collaboration in one software
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a secure software in which you can upload files from any device to create backups, save space, and share between your devices or with others. It also provides the means to collaborate with your coworkers on a versatile platform with excellent content creation features. Dropbox has no automation deletion of files due to inactivity, so you can keep your files on your storage for as long as you need to. You can upload files to Dropbox to make more space on your computer or phone, you can save them there to retrieve them in case there's a major data loss, and send the URL to people so that they can receive the files that are meant to be shared.
If you're sharing multiple files over some time, Dropbox has an easier solution to save time and effort with the help of Shared folders. You can convert any folder into a shared folder or create shared folders from the get-go. Once you create the folder, Dropbox will allow you to invite people to access this folder using its URL. You can seamlessly manage the list of people who have access from the control panel. For sharing and collaborating, you can upload the files that you want others to see into this folder. Through the shared folder, you can also grant them editing permissions. This will allow them to make changes to the content of your files without overwriting them completely. Dropbox will show you a log of updates and changes to the files and also allow you to scroll back to previous editions of the file. In case you want to undo any of the changes, you can simply load a previous edition of the file and save it.
Dropbox allows you to manage your projects through the help of boards, where you can add to-do lists, due dates, roadmaps, and sort out tasks by priority level. It's an effective platform for programmers to collaborate and work on code seamlessly and make edits easily over the cloud, a feature IDEs don't have.

What do you dislike about the product?
The initial storage space is limited to 2GB. This can be problematic as you're limited in how many files you can save on the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My coworkers and I work from home due to COVID-19, and Dropbox helps us solve the problem of sharing files and collaborating on our coding work seamlessly. We have Dropbox integrated with Zoom and Asana to manage all our meetings and team collaboration needs into a simplified platform that we can use efficiently. Sharing files has never been simpler and we're able to do so with shared folders where we can add the files that need to be downloaded or edited by other users. We no longer have to manually send the file to them and wait for them to receive it. Shared folders help us save time and be more productive as we can upload the file and go on with other tasks. We're also able to send large files seamlessly by making file requests. This acts as a P2P way of sharing without the intervention of the Dropbox cloud, thereby not taking up any of the allotted storage space. Dropbox storage is pretty effective and any file that we have deleted can be restored within 30 days from the bin. This prevents permanent loss of data through accidental deletion.
For content collaboration, Dropbox is perfect. We can not only store our code files similar to a code repository but also edit them online. We can save the files on the cloud and review changes where the lines added are marked in green and the lines removed are marked in red. This helps us undo or revert any changes wherever necessary if we run into issues while compiling. For any files where changes are made, Dropbox saves the revision history for us to go back to previous versions for quick restoration.

Dropbox an easy way to stay update it with your virtual team but not very different than E-mail.
What do you like best about the product?
The communication software is great for a group of people, especially if you are working remotely, it's very a unique way to pass over new updates!
What do you dislike about the product?
That is similar to an email just on its own platform, to me it was ok but not really necessary or solving any issues or tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly for me is not solving any problems maybe my manager was trying to give us updates or keep us informed of what changes there were being made might of made it easier.
