quick implementation and easy to get up and running
What do you like best about the product?
autocapture of events allows our marketing and product teams to work faster on implementation changes without the need for engineering resources to create new events
What do you dislike about the product?
relies on JS to capture things other than clicks, view, form submissions, etc. which is not very robust
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickly build funnels and graphs of customer actions on our site
Best Analytics Tool for User Behavior Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of getting all the information about user behavior on our applications with few lines of code!
I have used other analytics tool, but the analysis and reporting in this portal are way easy than the other.
Loved the reports that can be generated based on our business requirement. Also, the predefined events reduced out work much less.

Loved the reports that can be generated based on our business requirement. Also, the predefined events reduced out work much less.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, I found little difficulty in adding custom-defined properties, events and generating reports. But with support from I could go through it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For us, it's more of usage of application and completion of the task our application is of. With Heap, we can get reports on how users are traversing without applications and help us in refining the user experience or feature to improve the business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Heap is a simple and very good tool for analytics
From new to near expert
What do you like best about the product?
The best HEAP feature for me is the historical update. Create an event now, and you'll get the history from the beginning
Also appreciate the Slack channel. The HEAP team is responsive
Also appreciate the Slack channel. The HEAP team is responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
Search users from events. It would be great if users inherited event properties
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HEAP initially was used to gauge customer engagement. Now we use it even for debugging
Easy effective insights
What do you like best about the product?
Very little code embedding required, once data is being collected on the site it will always be there. The graphs and charts help you easily analyse and interpret the data from lots of angles and makes reporting to management about design changes easier as there is information to back it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can be a little buggy and slow. There's no overview to see all the events you have created in one place and the text search is limited - it should pick out words in the middle of titles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Usability problems, benefits in being able to report back to management with confidence
A great platform to answer your business questions!
What do you like best about the product?
Heap has been amazing for us so far. Really easy to set up and helping you to get insights from day one, it's also very easy to use and maintain. The ability to create virtual events and see retroactive data is the strongest USP in my opinion, there is not a single business question we couldn't answer so far. Support from Heap has also been perfect, very clever sales and account managers that make you want to use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are used to GA, it takes a bit of time to understand Heap metrics as they are quite different as they are more user based and funnel based. Also had some difficulties setting the link with our testing platform Monetate, but this is currently being solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to know way more about what our users were doing on our website and understand pain points and drop offs and Heap helped us massively with this. Saving time from the PM team and Data team has also been really valuable.
Removes bottlenecks and onus on technical teams
What do you like best about the product?
Product teams can implement and analyse everything themselves, from event implement through to charts and exports. Every interaction with the DOM auto-captured is a very nice safety net to know is always in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as yet. More integrations would always be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces amount of time required for engineers to implement tagged event tracking, and reduces the onus on data teams and write raw SQL for reporting. All of this now sits in the remit of product teams (or anyone else). More time spent on analysis than writing reports.
Nice tool to capture users interactions in your platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like Heap because of its ability yo gather data from users interactions in your platform or website and generate useful infographics, heat maps, funnels and more. With this tool you can collect ton of relevant info to understand your customers and the way they interact with your site.
What do you dislike about the product?
Heap scripts take too long to execute and may downgrade your site performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the problems that I am solving with Heap are resumed in just one: understand my users. I can collect interactions, clicks, views and so much more and get insightful graphics to use as feedback and improve my website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great platform. Really easy to implement and the info you get can be crucial to your site. But keep in mind that it may add some delay to your site loading times. Not the best in terms of performance. Overall, is a tool to have. Recommended.
Heap User Review
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy being able to create user funnels and see exactly how my cohorts of users keep retention over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty difficult to onboard with Heap and understand how to build different reports, I'll need to spend more time in the documentation than I originally anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving business intelligence problems with Heap - as an early stage startup we are getting the benefit of understanding how our various ad channels perform.
Great analytics even for the marketing noob!
What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly and intuitive interface
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a marketer, so I don't understand all the KPIs. It would make it even better to have tool tips for all the fields to tell the user what the field is useful for. I suppose marketers would know what they're doing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to understand my traffic and usability of my website to figure out where the bottlenecks are.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great software!!
Heap Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it fills in the gaps in data that my team and I may have not set up from the start. I also like that Heap offers much more flexibility than using only GA.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not found anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up funnels as well as looking at user behavior.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So far Heap has been an amazing addition for creating useful data as well as deriving insights that help my team make adjustments to our user flow and experience.
