Super useful tool to make data-based decisions
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to filter information is great, and layer different pieces of data together to look at trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a steep learning curve to start

Understanding our users and targeting messaging to drive better results. We also look at how certain activities are correlated to activation and retention.

Integrates smoothing for synchronicity and AB testing on Shopify

Could have more features and more code control

Shopify E-commerce Ops and integration with React and other sources to effectively troubleshoot and gauge issues on the site

What do you like best about the product?
I like funnels and paths as tools to track the customers usage
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports and dashboards. the reports and dashboard aren't good enough for a large B2B organization. I manage a lot of customers and I would like to have a dashboard for each one (for the account exec to use) each of these dashboards should consist of the same reports but with a different filter (account). this is currently not supported and presents a lot of complexity in that regard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility to Engagement, Funnels (statistics) and drill down to the actual sessions for understanding the users flow.
Google Analytics on Steroids (A good thing!)
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is so many customize-able ways to find what info I need. I've been using Heap to track TOFU sales from organic social using UTM links and a post purchase survey. Its helped me to see the real impact I am making with my content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is high, but its also the cost of working with a comprehensive platform. There is a margin of error that naturally happens with robust tracking but it's worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am tracking the impact of organic content, traffic to the site, referral attribution and marketing spend on influencers. I have been able to see where i am going daily to hit my goals.

Give yourself at least a year to understand it well

- Sometimes it can be a bit to challenging to organize the various reports and dashboards since we have so many.
- Would love to be able to see users doing immediately sequential steps i.e. be able to determine what steps the users do immediately after the previous one

Not having to set things up, being able to come in at any time and find answers to anything I would like to find out.

It would be nice to have some more options, for example in the audience setting I can set the original visit IP but not the current visit IP

I learn how users are using my platform and I can make choices about what to develop further.

The ability to easily search for events/create a dashboard/create self-generated reports.

I'm not sure if this is a setting, but I wish there was a better way to access the dev environment of Heap so that we can better QA when we're instrumenting metrics. I also wish it was easier to push events to our data warehouse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel metrics, product usage metrics. We're also using Heap as a way to analyze the results of A/B experiments in the absence of a more sophisticated A/B testing tool.
Heap UI and Redshift are easy to use and connect

I like the different analytical features and the ability of event and property creation
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more filtering capabilities (more than 2 filters - too little in Heap UI). Also, more ways to use revenue in Heap UI.
