Great Customer Experience Analytics Tool!

  • November 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The depth of the analytics is impressive. More than what you can ever do with Google Analytics (even Analytics 365) and coupling in session recordings and customer surveys make this a powerhouse of a tool for anyone looking to get more from their product, site, or app experience.

It's great to jump from the lost opportunity impact report right into session replays to digest what really happened in certain sessions. I can forward this ocver to my product team, who then dive into the error codes to know exactly what to fix.

Once you understand the full power of Auryc, it's easy to find where your customer's journey is hitting a wall so you can make the fixes necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any powerful tool, there is a bit of a learning curve. My team was VERY reliant on the support team for a while. They are great, but would love to have some more documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Uncovering where our customers expereince friction (and what is causing it)
- Where we should devote efforts to optimizing the path to purchase
- Watching (with the session recordings) what really happens as they try to checkout or simply navigate through our site
- Customer feedbak analysis
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are finding other tools too basic. If you REALLY want to understand your customer's digital experience. If you are looking for ways to recover lost sales. You need Auryc.

Rely on the support team in the beginning, but ask for more training so that you can become more self reliant.

Deep Post-Click Campaign Insights

  • November 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to look at site activities at a user level to help evaluate post-click engagement
What do you dislike about the product?
There's an initial UI learning curve, but nothing a few hours of exploring can't fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auryc solves a key gap in our funnel analysis for campaigns. By helping visualize what users are going through, we provide a high-fidelity feedback loop to our campaign builders.

What do you like best about the product?
Auryc provides me deeper insights about my website, which allows me to make better decisions
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can't be tricking to use, if you could simplify your UX I would use it more often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Auryc to better understand the customers journey on our site, purchase funnel, rage click, conversion rate, post-purchase survey

User friendly, data accuracy unclear

  • November 12, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how user-friendly Heap is. It can be used by non-technical people, while its straightforward functionality allows data analysts to zip through tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data isn't always accurate. Hard to understand the actual value of integrations like Appcues in-app without support from AMs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want to figure out how to optimize our onboarding experience (launchpads) and get better insights into user behavior. Later we will focus on conversion funnels, but we need to nail our basic onboarding first.

Identify/help with customer pain points

  • November 10, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The sessions
Marking specific events that we want to capture
Generating reports before and after changes are implemented
Sharing the exact session in question with the team to show exactly what is happening and where dealers are facing the issue
What do you dislike about the product?
Some popup windows are not displayed when setting the event markers. For that I have to reach out to Auryc client support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer pain points
How well the newly implement solution worked out for out dealers. So looking at the session gives us the ability to view and generate custom reports
Auryc has helped me with meeting and completing NFRs set for my feature work

Great for some use cases: session recordings, funnel analysis, retroactive event tracking

  • November 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1) The session recordings feature is one of the most helpful parts of Auryc. I can filter by specific time frames and attributes to find users who went through a design experiment and watch them interact with the new content.

2) The funnel analysis in Auryc is very straightforward and very visual. It's very easy to show stakeholders where the conversion rates are dropping off.

3) Auryc is like Heap in the way that events can be defined and then viewed retroactively. GA has the limitation where you cannot view an event until after it has been defined.

4) Easy way to add exit pop surveys and gather additional qualitative feedback
What do you dislike about the product?
1) The major drawback on the funnel analysis is you can only look at the funnel during a snapshot of time. There's no way to view conversion metrics and how they change over time. Therefore, my team exports auryc data into a tableau in order to view funnel attributes over time. This data only is kept for a certain number of months, though. So, we might be moving to GA360 for this in particular to have long-lasting event conversion data graphed over time.

2) Unless we particularly define some fields that shouldn't be tracked in the session recordings like SSN and birthdate etc, auryc will track them. So, data privacy is a bit hazardous.

3) The tool doesn't always work as expected. Sometimes data from a particular week will look very different when you look at the same time frame a few months later. The control for when the conversion happens (within 30 days, same session, etc) doesn't seem to always work. The user-based versus session-based attributes like landing page do not display properly after you select them in the report. e.g. I will select a session-based landing page metric, but it will display a user-based all time landing page metric in the report.

4) It is difficult to figure out how to populate new events into Auryc from our backend database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-Retroactive event tracking when we forgot to set up tracking for certain events
-Session recordings and viewing user behavior on site
-Funnel views for stakeholders to visualize dropoff and priorities for optimization
-Quick exit pop surveys to customers

Best web analytics tool so far

  • November 09, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Integration with product is very easy.
- Heap allows to track and create a profile for a user how is using multiple products from multiple devices.
- Live tracking and event visualization are very precise.
- Low bandwidth consumption.
What do you dislike about the product?
- I've not come across any other requirement which is necessary and I couldn't found on this platform, though I'm very new with this product.
- Pricing details are not available even for very basic plans. I think it could give us idea and more options to compare with peer producs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Analyzing customer pattern.
- Analyzing same user who is using multiple products of the same company.
- This could be very helpful for marketing/advertising company who display offers/content where customer is more focus.

Solid analytics tool with an intuitive workflows and a modern user interface

  • October 16, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface has a modern, open look-and-feel that makes it feel approachable. I like that I can go into Heap intermittently and it doesn't require a big re-learning curve. I usually can go in, look for an answer or configure a new definition and find what I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Initially took me a while to understand the relationship between dashboards, reports, and definitions.
- For an organization with multiple groups using Heap, the naming cI onvention, or lack therof, can get a little hairy. It's hard to find definitions that other team members have created unless you have a good naming convention.
- Publishing my definitions to a shared space requires an admin to approve. Since that's not instant, I often just publish to my personal space to save time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Typically I'm looking for data to help understand user behavior. I use the data to inform design decisions as I'm working on a product. A decision could be about deprecating a product feature, or determining primary vs. secondary information or actions, or supporting qualitative user research with data.
