A good tool to evaluate your ad performance
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to build the conversion funnel
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to use Heap and it takes time to get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to identify the missing opportunities and evaluate campaign performance

Lots of data, plenty to consider
What do you like best about the product?
There's so much information collected about user behavior. Utilized correctly, that can be powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a steep learning curve for collecting valuable insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're not utilizing it to its fullest, unfortunately.
Robust functionality, but intimidating to learn and use.
What do you like best about the product?
The features are robust. You can define practically any specific event. I especially like the new-ish feature where you can click on an element in the platform in order for the event or element to be defined (versus knowing the exact code/tag).
What do you dislike about the product?
Heap is intimidating to use. It feels like it needs a lot of training, and we don't have multiple champions at our organization who are good at training new or all users on how to use it effectively. It feels overly complex, which keeps new people from learning it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I created a report with my PM to help track the usage of a specific page in our platform. This included defining when users did particular tasks. We compared this usage data to overall WAU. This helped us understand general usage of feature. Having a dashboard / report that we could share with others was useful for visibility.
A little difficult to learn but easy to navigate once you learn.

The data is pulled extremely quick which is efficient

It was diffucult to learn where every data point was coming from

I am pulling data for email campaigns and SMS campaigns

We can see insights into user behaviors, etc.

Some of the reports provide a limited view; for example, sometimes you can't use the graph feature if you have multiple things you want to visualize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to see if we're moving our metrics in the right direction.
Heap Provides an easy-to-use experience to our data
What do you like best about the product?
The UI and aesthetic provide a pleasing experience and call me back to trying to find new ways that our data can be parsed and represented in the platform. I do not have direct experience with a Heap competitor but cannot see a reason this wouldn't suffice for most organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that I am not a Heap power user and haven't invested enough time in thoroughly mastering the system. As such, I do find myself wishing there were some out-of-the-box options, but this could be something our organization can create templates to resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get much greater insight into answering questions like who, how, what, and why our users are taking action on our platform. Extremely insightful usage analytics that we didn't have prior to Heap.
Fun and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I love that heap makes digesting information easy. Our analyst is able to share dashboards, without having to create different dashboards for different time periods. super helpful!

better understanding of our users, we use it to track demographics and personas and to learn more about flows and trhe ROI of features we launch.
Great analytics visibility in a much needed space
What do you like best about the product?
Really love how easy Heap was to set up. Great integrations with the most important datasets and the overview of important touchpoints from our user community were crucial. Their help team has been invaluable to us!
What do you dislike about the product?
As an admin, I do need to say, I wish Heap supported a full Okta Integration Network connection. Provisioning, Push Groups, profile mapping, would all be key in making the Admin experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting actionable results from our KPIs based on user analytics. These have been critical in our product roadmap. Analytics inform us of our customer pain points and help us drive better results.
Great way to learn about product usage
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to build out custom reports for product adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
The event selector can be difficult to use especially when selecting common UI elements

Understanding product adoption. Using heap were able to build dashboard for all of our product teams to understand feature utilization.

The naming conventions make concise names hard.

User profiles and how they interact with our web app.
