I really enjoy working with Heap. It much easier, I find, when compared to other tools like MixPanel
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature for me is when I can see events live as they happen, limit those to only see mine and then build dashboards from there. It takes away the guesswork and the need to keep documentation 100% up to date all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes can be a little daunting when interacting with a tool like this for the first time. By no means I am an expert but I feel that I am not able to extract the full value out of Heap. This might just be a personal issue though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to track how features and releases are performing and see what we need to do for those that under perform. It is also a great tool to go back to the team with data and show the fruits of their labor.
Great analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Clear user interface and great flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
We can sometimes get in a mess with lots of variations on charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel insights are particularly useful and enable us to get granular on our performance
Useful data analytics tool. Easy to gather quantitative user insights!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is very easy to set up and I get so many valuable data without adding much code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little clunky and hard to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding our customers and how to build better products for them.
Great capacity for insights and responsive service.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility for layers of data to be viewed in context.
Heap "Illuminate" really helps to surface items I may not have thought to look into before.
Data quiz, while simple, has the effect of getting you to know some of your data trends better.
Heap Replay's (we've only been through the trial) appears to have a lot of possible applications and the placement of where you can open a replay is well thought out.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of Flutter SDK and therefore, Visual Labeling of mobile side events for us (hopefully coming).
Slight ambiguity between Visual Labeler default tagging and the Live Event viewer (supposed to be used to QA what was tagged in VL).
The onboarding process through the 3rd party vendor felt inflexible for our needs and therefore didn't feel as though the value/price ratio was great. We were a lot further along with implementation and understanding than they seemed ready to address and work with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap is helping us better understand what to work on next.
We are able to validate or discard assumptions we might have in place by default.
We are able to know better when additional in app or other messaging is necessary/helpful.
Of course one of the base bits is being able to identify friction points in a designed process for our clients.

Analysis of a user's events/data + screen recording in one product = super tool.
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UI and the combination of user interaction AND screen recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using it for a few months and nothing so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the problem of understanding what users are doing on the site, if they're interacting as expected, is the site working correctly and ultimately conversion.
Billing experience was terrible. The UI element tracking was only enough for directional insights
What do you like best about the product?
iOS element tracking experience was easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Account service was terrible, and analytics' impact on business was minimal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a quick analytics hack to get directional insights, but no way it's accurate enough for significant decisions.
Heap is a very good user behavior analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
It provides many may to look at user behavior and analyze it to modify your page flows to increase user engagement. It is a robust analytics platform that can be used in a variety of ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to set up and learn. You basically need to embed scripts on the pages you want to track so that this information gets into heap. This is time consuming and error-prone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a better understanding of how users are browsing and interacting with our sites. It has allowed us to optimize our user flows to increase engagement and revenue.
Heap Session Replay for Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
We recently gained access to the Session Replay feature in Heap and have found it useful in a few scenarios. First, it's given us a deeper understanding of what happens when a user drops out of a funnel events. This helps answer a why that was previously hard to understand. We've also gotten a better understanding of how users are interacting with specific features in the product. Finally, it has helped with event definition, as the session replay feature is a useful tool for auditing events.
What do you dislike about the product?
The session replay tool is a new feature for Heap so we experienced a few bugs, but that's too be expected from a new product. We've also given some product feedback to the team for feature improvements. The biggest issue we've run across thus far is that the feature recreates sessions rather than recording them. This means in a few instances that the recreations have been inaccurate and produced odd results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Heap session replay is helping us better understand feature usage and product friction as well as helping to troubleshoot bugs and errors. We've been considering a session replay tool for a while and think the way Heap has integrated both the product analytics and session replay. We can now jump directly to when an event happens rather than having to watch an entire session.
