Great Digital Asset Manager (DAM)
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and organize the files into folders. It helps to keep content files not only contained but with the latest version available, becoming the single source of truth - especially valuable for global organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using this software is that it requires a strong internet connection to upload videos, and it may take longer than usual to upload it, mainly if compared with the speed of loading a file, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit for the organization is to have a single source of truth (SSOT) content to avoid miscommunication between the areas and the use of the most recent available files. The ability to share URLs and keep those URLs updated with the latest version of the file is also very beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend having a plan and structure to organize the folders, tags, and relevant fields for each asset that will be added to the platform for easy filtering.

What do you like best about the product?
IntelligenceBank has a sophisticated tagging system that can be adjusted and catered specifically to our needs. It's super useful for finding photos with particular people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was no upload limit on the files. There are small bugs here and there, but the team is on top of updating it so that it is working how we want it. One feature I would like to see in future updates is facial recognition to make tagging more streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have finally been able to organize our photos in a smart and sensible way.

It's a great way to organize media if you are a high volume Marketing department.
IntelligenceBank
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using IntelligenceBank for about 4 years now, and I'd have to say the ease at which I can create and tweak form templates is my favorite part. It provides you with different types of entry fields that you can drag and drop to reorganize. Because we mainly use IntelligenceBank as a data repository, being able to easily create new registers and tweak old ones makes the solution very useful. The ability to export data quickly is great, as is the ability to apply filters to each register to quickly find the specific entry you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk importing data from spreadsheets can be a frustrating experience. There have been multiple times where I get unexplained errors and have to do smaller, bite sized imports rather than a more convenient large one. I am usually able to find work arounds for these issues, but it can be time consuming and frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IntelligenceBank is great as a data repository. It solves our data tracking needs. We currently do not use the built-in dashboard capabilities, but there are ways to create and export reporting straight from the IntelligenceBank solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used IntelligenceBank as a data repository mainly. For this purpose, I would recommend it, though I also know that the solution has more potential than my organization is currently using it for. The IntelligenceBank team has showed me how to use their solution in different ways, like managing marketing resources and creative portfolio management. If these were needs that my organization did not currently already have a solution for, we would have discussed using IntelligenceBank for those.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the onboarding process was great. They showed great patience with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Pacific Time zone created some difficulty with getting all our affiliates (U.S. East Coast, Tokyo, Singapore, Hamburg) on one call. BUT...IntelligenceBank worked with us and we shared the pain of early mornings/late nights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now able to easily share creative resources and assets across the globe without any issues of time zones, vacations, and waiting for email response time.

Know what it is you want to do with this software and have your assets very well-organized before uploading.
Benchmark MRM platform. Best I have seen and used.

The team at Intelligence Bank is great to work with and is always willing to collaborate on finding a solution that suits your business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is still improving with all the upgrades; however, it would be helpful to customize certain things within the platform to allow for a better user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Permission groups - are our number one issue at this point. Changing them based on their initial setup; however, we are working on that for the next iteration.

Has everything we need and really easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Different permissions with logins mean we don't have to worry about people misusing our assets. The tagging feature is also fantastic and makes content easily searchable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we experience issues with uploading content - particularly with large files - the server can be slow or not go through correctly, so we have to reupload. It can take a lot of time but this doesn't happen often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to set user permissions and invoke certain assets to require approval to download has helped us gain control of our brand and marketing within our own business and educate employees and external agencies correctly.
Flexible and powerful when set up correctly
What do you like best about the product?
I like the administration powers all being web-based, the flexibility of creating your own structures, and required fields. The layout is fairly intuitive, and the share functions flexible. The preview panels are large and easy to navigate. Customisable metadata and folder icons make navigation easier. The support team is relatively quick to respond and sort out any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had users report differing speeds and slow searches on windows machines and using Microsoft Edge. There are limitations to working on files through plugins not necessarily apparent until you try using them. We optioned our pack based on designers' experience and keeping working files out of the DAM prior to making edits.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The primary benefit is having a single source of truth for assets for the company and sharing to other departments or external sources. Tagging and editing data that doesn't exist on the files in the standard MS server settings, including extra information. Working remotely and having files accessible for the entire team.

IB are more like a partner than a service provider and the tool has made us more organised than ever!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had to work through some network performance issues but the IB team support has been great.

Greater efficiency working with agencies and much better visibility of work in progress.

Well worth including IB in your consideration set. They're a great option for most organisations.
Helpful service, a lot of services and features our organisation doesn't need.

Helpful support from staff. Very modular and can be customised to what we need.

Can be slow when loading. Can be overcomplicated with all the features.

Keeping track of our project photos. Being able to find project photos in an easy and timely fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Some features are overly complicated and some the name does not reflect the purpose. Like how groups determine permissions, but groups are different to divisions.
