Robust, Customized Planning Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Use cases are almost endless, and solutions can be built within reasonable time periods.
What do you dislike about the product?
Options for showing variances for user planning pages (not within Management Reporting). Lack of iteration solution for circular references.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency and accuracy of detailed planning that had historically been done in Excel. Cuts hours spent by planners significantly.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to automate processes and plan at any level of granularity. The UX is also very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing for our exec team to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it very difficult to back track and correct anything that has been accidentally deleted or overwritten on the UX pages. I would really like an undo-type functionality to revert data back to what was previously in the cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us plan at a very granular level and automating processes that would otherwise take place in excel or google sheets. Which is eliminating much of the possibility for manual error.

It also helps report and analyze the critical KPIs to the top-level management. It helps our users to complete the Budget and forecasting process more quickly and colloborate people from different deparment at one place.

Its a powerful planning tool and needs areas of developlments in Reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan helps our clients to fast-track their business process and complete their planning on time. Anaplan has saved a lot of time in the planning process starting from user inputs to workflow approval of the top-level management. It helps the users to do simulations, what-if analyses, variance analysis etc

User concurrency can be seen many a times on New UX page, which takes a lot of time to load a page.

The ability to tailor the platform to meet business requirements ensures clients can define the right models/views/dashboards important to their business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplans biggest strength can also be one of its weaknesses, requiring organization to be diligent in following best practices/build standards to ensure the model is optimized for performing at its best.

A truly connected planning tool
What do you like best about the product?
Connectedness of the tool, multi-dimensionality, real-time data, flexibility and fast calculation engine
What do you dislike about the product?
Rollback and concurrency, not a lot really
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monthly rolling forecast of Sales, OpEx, Capex and production of main financial statements, and performance reporting
Forecasting software that tries to make it easy
What do you like best about the product?
The fact you can have big teams adding individual information about their own forecasting numbers, and the sofware tries to maintain the informarion organized. Anaplan provides charts and tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not intuituive. If you have plenty of products, when adding information on the table, you do not see the name of that row (because you went down, but the name of the row is not frozen). The user interface needs to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan helps to know how many units you will need in a specific period of time (it can be a month, quarter, or couple of years). It helps to evaluate how many units (or bill of materials) the company will need in a certain amount of time.
