What do you like best about the product?
Multi-dimensionality for data, ability to conduct scenario planning, collaborative and cloud-based platform

Management style reporting is a new feature that still needs some work. The ability to execute iterative calculations similar to Excel is not present.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The scalability and security issues faced when using Excel for budgeting and forecasting. Users can ensure integrity in a forecast without cell-by-cell formula references.

What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan has a potent calculation engine, which allows a very fast processing of information and allows you to connect different parts of the organisation; every process is auditable and you can set up a very detailed and easy-to-use security system, so users can only access specific data, even when seeing the same page as others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplan requires someone with some knowledge of the tool, which can be hard to find in some markets. Also, you need to pay for the space used, so it is not suitable as a database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan allows you to process millions of data points in mere seconds, allowing an integration of data across the entire organisation and giving real-time updates on the planning process.

The most valuable feature of Anaplan is machine learning. The solution is constantly evolving from feedback. Additionally, there is a wide range of training material online.

I have been using Anaplan for approximately eight years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is generally stable. There are tweaks that need to be made for optimum stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is highly scalable.
How are customer service and support?
We do the support ourselves and rarely needed global support from the vendor.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We did not use another solution previously.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of Anaplan is easy because it is low code or no code deployments. The full process of deployment can take six months. We do not need a lot of resources for the deployment.
What about the implementation team?
We do the difficult customization for the customers. We provide our customers with feedback.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The price of the solution is expensive.
What other advice do I have?
If the solution is built correctly there is no maintenance needed.
The crucial aspect is to ensure that there are individuals who possess the knowledge to effectively utilize the tool. It is akin to piloting an airplane, where one must first acquire the skills to fly before attempting to operate it. Otherwise, they will crash it.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use \ configuration. Simple setup on a small VM to connect our data with Anaplan., Dedicated team that works with you through the adoption process to get started.

What do you dislike about the product?
Initial vendor calls had a bit of disconnect between their sales and technical teams. A lot of confusion over certificates that ended up being a non-issue in the long run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our HR department make important planning data visualization and charts that would not be possible with something simpler like MS Excel and allows them to gather data to further compare with other departments for project planning, budgeting and financial consolidation.

What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan shines when it comes to empowering the business. Having such a powerful platform can often be daunting, but Anaplan is built so that the tool can be wholly owned and operated by the business itself. It empowers the business through an easy-to-build structure without compromising on flexibility/capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Anaplan could better make some tenant-level reports (metadata around user activity) more readily available/accessible. While not a major pain point, it is always nice to have this detail at your fingertips in the early stages of the deployment of a new solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given the versatility of Anaplan, it is not limited to any one use case. Being an implementation partner, I am seeing Anaplan deliver value/benefit through its' focus on connected planning. That is, bringing multiple use cases together in a single environment for real-time connected planning.
Anaplan works well for a quick reference for your numbers/metrics/data in the sales field.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked that it was easy to access and easy to understand. The format is user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that anaplan is not very accurate with its data until the very last minute. Meaning the data is a bit jumbled until the last day of a quarter. Then you get accurate data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metric tracking to keep my reps on track with their monthly and quarterly KPIs.
Practical and easy-to-use solution
What is our primary use case?
I'm using it to produce a proof of concept and SDNA.
What is most valuable?
The best thing is that it's very intuitive and user-friendly. You don't need coding skills to manipulate the platform.
What needs improvement?
One area of improvement is conditional formatting. It's not very practical, and you need to specify additional formatting for each line item, which increases the size.
These are also areas that could be improved for the long-term sustainability of the platform.

It's been about three months now.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
There are around 13 users in my company using the solution.
How was the initial setup?
It's quite easy to set up. It doesn't require much effort.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is an expensive solution.
What other advice do I have?
I would definitely recommend using the solution. It is a practical and easy-to-use solution. Overall, I would rate it an eight out of ten.
Anaplan transforms business planning with the greatest flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
In Anaplan, anything is possible. A process that was manual and tedious can now be automated and centralized. This can eliminate time in the planning cycle and give users the ability to make more accurate forecasts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anaplan is limited in the capacity for the graphs. I'd like them to release more graphics for the interface that would be useful to planning process. This is especially important in high level reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan solves the pain point when different departments are using different datasets for the same goal. This causes inaccurate forecast and does not foster a culture of collaboration.

Ability to get answers quickly without the need to run lengthy processes and ability to know how the information was calculated and how data was transformed. The ability to have different interfaces for different users so that each can gain value-added from using the tool.
