Quick and Easy tool to Analysis data
What do you like best about the product?
Speed, connects well with Google Analytics
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up is a long process and inability to work on real big data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps wuickly process lot of data especially from Google Analytics
Light programing to complete large tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the user interface, where I can have multiple windows open showing the plots I am making while still being able to manipulate the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike, This is just a program that requires so studying to really get tasks done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am making box plots for the data in my analysis much quicker.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a learning curve, but there is a lot of content on the internet that can help in finding different uses.
Statistical tool
What do you like best about the product?
Many tutorials, big community, free open source tool with a variety of packages!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is slow and the visualization makes it not so user friendly..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use RStudio for data analysis because it is more powerful than excel and supports larger data sets..
Recommandations à d’autres personnes envisageant the product:
6 Great Years With R Studio

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Rstudio for statistical modelling and predictive Analysis
Free, can do anything, higher learning curve than alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
Free, easy installation, great documentation online, dplyr package very useful for data manipulation
What do you dislike about the product?
Not as easy or quick or intuitive to produce and customize and share dat visualizations as Tableau
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating data analysis programs for public health datasets to share with partners who can't afford paid versions like SAS or Tableau. Running epidemiological models.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good to know because it's free and you never know when you'll be working for an organization that won't have a paid software like Tableau or SAS
I recommend rstudio
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it was to learn from the beginning, but that the advanced features are there when you need them. It's great that rstudio is opensource, as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that compiling latex can take so long, but that is to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rstudio provides data visualization and has helped develop insights into data. It is also a good IDE to practice and learn R. Having a helpful working environment has made the learning curve easier to deal with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. If you're going to be using R to do predictive analytics or data visualization, using Rstudio will only help you along the way.
RStudio: professional figures made easy
What do you like best about the product?
As a first time RStudio user, I was able to customize parameters (colors, fonts, etc.) and construct clear figures for an evolutionary ecology paper.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was initially hard to teach myself to code in R.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been a useful resource for data visualization, which is invaluable for writing grant proposals and obtaining funding to continue my research.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many useful online resources, since so many people use RStudio and contribute to forums like StackOverflow. As a result, usually if you have a question, you can find someone else who has already answered it.
