    Research

My go-to IDE for R coding

  • June 07, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has a clean and intuitive user interface. Loading and visualizing data can also be done via the "Import Dataset" which opens up an explorer and helps to set the right parameters to load the desired data. Also, plots can be viewed and exported easily in various formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
When viewing a table in the built-in table viewer, only a certain amount of rows are visible. It would be helpful to expand the table in a pop-up similar as it is possible for graphics. Also, being able to save the table by right click would be helpful.
Graphics can only be generated by coding, it would be nice to have options to touch up the produced plots manually, similar to GraphPad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in biomedical research and use R and Bioconductor a lot. Whenever I am coding in R I am using RStudio. Applications vary from inspecting and summarizing big datasets, performing statistical analysis, making publication-ready graphics, as well as using the many available packages to solve biological questions.

Easy for Data Analysis and Web Scraping

  • May 11, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
R Studio is a much enhanced version of the R GUI. I'd highly recommend for anyone considering running R code. It allows for color-coding of functions and other tags. It has error-analysis and is easy to download.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've never had a problem with it- though I hear now that you may to pay for licenses. Mine was free, so that may have been an older feature. Regardless- it is highly worth it over the older, clunkier R GUI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Web scraping and reading CSV files for data manipulation are the primary use. It helps us understand a lot of our data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the way to go when it comes to data analysis.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
it's an open source and comes with lots of open source packages for analytics.

It allowed easy load to billions of records. We basically used it for Forecast shipment and sales . After trying lots of models, we finalized one model. We used that model to embed in the frontend and used it Whatif scenario.

Outil d'analyse de données incroyable

  • April 10, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

Recommandations à d’autres personnes envisageant the product:
