Statsig: Our Secret Weapon for Smarter Product Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Statsig makes running experiments feel like a cheat code. The guardrails are solid, the stats are robust, and the metrics framework is honestly the real MVP—love how you can define metrics once and reuse across feature gates, experiments, and holdouts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI has a bit of a learning curve and isn’t always the snappiest. I wish there was more to metric visibility and better debugging tools for complex parameterized experiments. Also, while the Slack integration is nice, the webhook/logging side could use more flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Statsig to drive our A/B testing and feature rollout strategy. It’s helped us move from gut-feel decisions to data-informed ones. Experiments are no longer “science projects”—they’re part of the product cycle. Feature gating + experiments + metrics under one roof = less chaos, more confidence.
Easy to setup, so capable.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to setup for common web frameworks. After setup, it can be a bit overheimg to first navigate but the out of the box dashboards make it so quick for anyone looking to get a glance at web traffic and then build from there.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit overwhelming, some clunky UI and also there can be a bit of a lag between events and them showing in the dashbord
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to setup web-analytics and session replays bundled into one.
Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Great Product, easy to integrate and use, amazing support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Didn't find yet, everything went smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company we a/b almost everything, so with Statsig we do experiments and feature flags
Very intuitive and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the cohortisation feature, where I can see the impact on different cohorts. Its very easy to use, and the setting up of and implementing experiments are very easy as well. I use it almost everyday to check up on my current metrics as well as experiment metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever I export CSV data that has been grouped by more than 1 variable, the resultant CSV file should have 2 different columns for 2 different grouping variables. Right now, it just concatenates both which adds an extra step of refining the csv data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Statsig helps manage our experiments - from setting it up to actually taking a decision the experiment. We launch multiple experiments in a week and hence keeping track in a unified place is very helpful.
Super efficient and useful!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that statsig is user friendly! I use it frequently and love it
What do you dislike about the product?
can explain health alerts more, would love to see explanations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier experimentation
Good integration
What do you like best about the product?
The broad options to use the service: SDKs and OpenAPI makes it a breeze to config and use experiments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Confusing documentation or lacking more examples.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to perform A/B tests and implement feature gates.
Analysis Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Measuring performance of my Lifecycle Marketing campaigns has never been easier. Statsig makes implementation of measurement and analysis processes simple for myself and my team. I'm in Statsig daily. Even without a background in statistics, its easy for me to understand and interpret results and share out to relevant stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very few complaints on my end. Advanced filtering on experiments might be helpful just given that we run a lot of experiments internally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage the Lifecycle Marketing program at my company. Statsig allows us to dive deeper into performance metrics of our email, in-app and push campaigns targeting our users. In order to gauge performance of our programs, Statsig allows us to go beyond basic engagement level metrics and dive into robust A/B testing that tells us if our communications are resonating with our users and driving our intended actions.
I was unfamiliar with the product and got an error that I didn't see in the documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Statsig is easy to use and there was also prior art on using statsig at my company
What do you dislike about the product?
there were some performance concerns with statsig; having the ability to seamlessly transition between UI and raw JSON would also be useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick way to implement feature gate
Super recommended for any PM
What do you like best about the product?
What's really cool about Statsig, is how flexible it is – you can test in different environments or even run several experiments at once by bucketing users differently. It's also super simple to use and doesn't require any training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I currently dislike about the app. An exciting improvement idea would be the integration of AI-powered analysis to automatically surface deeper insights from test results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Product Manager in a startup, I A/B test every feature I launch, and Statsig has been a total game-changer. It's super simple to get tests up and running, letting me quickly compare results and make data-driven decisions.
Streamlined Experimentation and Feature Management with Statsig
What do you like best about the product?
Statsig makes it super easy to test new features and see what's working. You can roll out features to certain users, track how they perform, and get clear results fast. The dashboard is easy to use, and the automatic analysis saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price might be a bit high for smaller teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Statsig to test new features before launching them to everyone. This helps us avoid shipping changes that might hurt user experience or performance. By running A/B tests and feature rollouts, we can make better decisions based on real data instead of guesswork. It saves us time, reduces risks, and helps us build better products faster.
