Quickly managing content to improve web resource performance
What do you like best about the product?
We have had no problems adapting and working with Fastly, the integration was really fast and their sales and support team was attentive at all times, we have been able to manage the distribution of our content, track our performance and facilitate the work of our developers through the use of this tool. Fastly has a stable platform and is a fairly fast content distribution network, it lives up to its name.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any displeasure with Fastly, but nevertheless I consider that the interface is not so intuitive and to make customizations you would have to go into the source code of the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fastly has been the ideal CDN (Content Distribution Network) to solve and optimize the management of our content in our applications and portals, we have integrated easily to its use and has meant an increase in performance, a time saving in terms of management and a saving of resources that we can have to make further improvements to improve the web experience of our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Totally recommended to any company to improve performance and customer web experience through content management and web resource optimization.
Fastly is perfect and optimal for the cache storage.
What do you like best about the product?
It is one of the best CDN/Proxy for any web page process. I can save the site and later cache it. I can share the images depending on the user agent, either Chrome or another browser. It has an incredible display that helps simplify the information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fastly has been a key part in optimizing each process. It has been extraordinary, I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used this program to make the content responses on each website we are working on more flexible and to modify them. Customers ask us to cache content in a personalized way and with Fastly their needs are met.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I basically recommend it because it has given many benefits in terms of organization as an efficient CDN layer. It has a great compilation where it can be put to good use.
A developer friendly Edge compute platform, not just a CDN
What do you like best about the product?
- Fastly's rich feature set that expand the traditional CDN profile. Its practically an edge compute platform enabling its users to do more `compute` on the edge which results in huge gains on resource allocation and consumption of the downstream platform .
-It has a Developer first approach on its tools, techniques and documentation. Practically is meant to be used by developers directly.
- Great support (I was lucky enough to experience, the paid support models) and I have to admit it was one of the best support experiences ever. The engineers behind it not only made sure to answer all you questions but throught time were educating you about the capabilities of their platform. It was more like an internal training rather than a regular Q&A session.
- Stable platform, I dont remember a single day where I experienced an outage that would affect our platform (as users)
- Fastly delivers on its promise and specifically its performance and availability SLOs.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Some years ago, it seemed that there was a gap on very specific features, like WAFs or edge firewalls. I think they have improved in that area and now the integration and solutions provided are more robust!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Scalability of web platforms (especially if your platform can not easily scale horizontally and immediately )
- Availability - having a stable and `beefy` edge layer where you could deal with a % of your business logic without spending a $ on resources on your actual platform - means a lot.

* It can be complicated if you aren't an engineer - so ensure you know what you are doing
* The UI can be un-intuitive at times but we recommend using Config as Code for any changes. Fastly is actively working on making this better which is great

What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of it all, this is basically a managed service for Varnish which can make the possibilities of what it can do endless. Along with all the added functionality that Fastly put on top it makes it my go-to tool for CND/WAF. Secondarily I would say the fact that Fastly intact and is configurable with Terraform our Infra-as-code management software is a huge plus meaning that is always part of our process and doesn't need extra management away from what we have already.
What do you dislike about the product?
That like everything it cost money :) but even that said, working with fastly they have provided a good service at a good price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main issues that we wanted to solve was WAF and the fact we didn't have one, next was the speed of our sites, then followed both other features like image manipulation and optimization lastly other security concerns.

Excellent service and on top of technology. Easily to customize applications with Fastly tools and features.

What do you like best about the product?
I actually really enjoy when I can use Fastly provisioned TLS. It also holds up to the name, and is fast to purge a cached files (an issue we had with another previous provider which took above 10 minutes to do this). Fastly does this in seconds as we've tested when we see the updates. Also, absolutely love the "Dynamic Caching" feature. It's worth the effort to do this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish logging were more obvious and clear in the instructions initially, but they do work. It's just logs will take a bit of setup work too that we didn't expect initially. Once it's done, it's good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Caching and also WAF (firewall). We needed to distribute our files to help protect our systems from user load, and security checks on the traffic. We also needed logs of this traffic for security reasons. The caching solution just works well. It provides myself and our team just a less stressful time using this system. Fastly does what I hope every system would do in it's position => stays out of the way, and let's us get our work done. We clear the cache, and use dynamic cache, then our updates and images are online and working as expected. It updates so quickly that both our teams, and our clients were impressed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It helps me sleep at night, and that's the best recommendation I can give. Security is there, logging is there, it's fast and stable.

The Fastly Edge Computing is the tool that brings the cloud to the edge to provide the services to the customer to connect to the applications and avail the benefits.It provide the serverless technology and compute environment to deliver the fast content,deal with the ecommerce businesses with great effciency.

The Fastly Edge Computing is a very strong platform which needs a strong support and maintenance system as well.It is not very flexible with the other tools so it needs little configuration for alteration.If you have strong IT staff It can be solved easily.

The Fastly Edge Computing also provides the storage and easy access to the data at edge.The control are available to update instantly.The Fastly Edge Computing is flexible and customizable technology quickly alter the web content to the client. The Fastly Edge Computing is really a powerful and strong platform I have seen a great boost up in my system.

The Fastly Edge Computing is heading to the right direction.It has met up the all my companies requirements.It also provides the free trial. It reduces the latency which improve the client experience.The Fastly Edge Computing also protects the system against the DDos and botnet attacks.

What do you like best about the product?
Fastly Managed CDN has Instant Purge which helps Fastly Customer to serve dynamic content quickly the other laegacy CDNs canot deliver.Any HTTP request can be cached.The log system is very secure and systematic.v can stream the log to an analytical service and storage system of our choice to run the web sites and solve the customer issues.The Fastly Managed CDN is resource saver with data monitoring system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fastly Managed CDN is a very strong and reliable platform to work with it, It really need a cache replacement to speed up the workflow.It is expensive however once it is done it works really well and smooth the performance.I think this is the only downside it has otherwise Fastly Managed CDN is good to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fastly Managed CDN can enjoy theinstant purge by simply adding a hook the model level of an application.The deployment using the smart machanism and moved oyr system in effective way out beyond the firewall and at the edge.As I worked with this tool ,Fastly Managed CDN made the transition seamless and fast. It has improved my company process agility.

Fastly Managed CDN is highly distributed platform of servers which reduces the delay in the web content deliver.I would like to recommend Fastly Managed CDN to most the people.Fastly Managed CDN provide the free trial.Good set of APIs makes the dynamic content routing fast and save with blockage of the vulnerabilities.
