We used this platform last year , the data analysis of unified data , and with the use of artificial intelligence , it has very high security and it is scalable for data teams.the performanace of this platform is best feature

Some time minor bugs and error shown , price is little bit expensive , but it is worth

What do you like best about the product?
Databrick is very user friendly, and i find it to be very benificial. The feature i like the most is MLflow as it allows us to keep record of machine learning models. It also processes data very quickly and reduces workload, which is very helpful. Additionally it is cost efficient, and multiple team can collaborate easily.Its Spark support, ML pipelines and DL make it an even more powerful tool for DDO.I find it to be a perfect platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in it that is worth disliking. But in my opinion, for beginners, understanding its interface and features can be difficult at first, but otherwise, it is a fantastic platform, and its features are very powerful

I didn't face any issue with it, but if i had to, Databricks 'customer support is excellent. I found their higher plan to be very benificial as i received a quick response from customer support, and the phone support is outstanding.

The most valuable features of Databricks include the Delta Lake, a user-friendly interface, Delta Life tables for ETL, dashboard features for analysis, and the Unity catalog for role management. It also offers AI functionalities that assist with code management and machine learning processes.
What needs improvement?
While Databricks is generally a robust solution, I have noticed a limitation with debugging in the Delta Live Table, which could be improved. The issue with Delta type tables not loading into multiple places in a single pipeline has been fixed recently.

What is our primary use case?
I work in a project where I build data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. I ingest data from on-premises to Azure Data Lake. After that, I perform transformations using Databricks notebooks and Spark, building the Databricks bronze, silver, and gold layers. We export reports from the gold layer.

The Unity Catalog is a central governance for all data around the workspaces, and also Databricks' integration capabilities with cloud services like Azure Event Hub and Azure Data Factory. It is user-friendly for data processing, and Spark is a strong language for big data processing.

Performance could be improved. It is crucial to check coding, configure Spark correctly, implement caching, and monitor performance metrics to enhance performance.

For my company, it's okay to upgrade to Databricks because it's comparable in price to Informatica. It is not considered expensive for the company.

For machine learning, I used Python and its libraries manually. Prior to Databricks, there was no special tool used for these purposes.

If a company focuses on data science and machine learning, I recommend using Databricks. It's a great solution in this field. For data management needs, Informatica is advantageous due to its comprehensive tools.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been very amazing in creating data pipelines for data transformation and data analysis + queries easily in dashboard. It is best for data engineers in our company , they use it daily for implementing ML and setting up workflow using Databricks.

I think trial period can be bit enhanced for testing this vast platforms. In terms of functionality i see no issues.

It has been great platform for our company . It works on real time data collection tech and ai . Its monitoring feature works excellently for data analysis and data distribution. Its scalability can be increased with large data volumes very smoothly. Its ability to improve frequency and pipeline has really good thing.

I find that it will need some learning curve at the beginning other than that its great tool.
