Good tool for looging
What do you like best about the product?
Like the parsing tool, it's really useful when it comes to debug some errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say, but maybe the one thing is to make some prompts when you type the application name or just some other params.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving related logging and especially when it comes to parsing our logs to find out particular problems.
Powerful, customizeable and user friendly log management system
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the query language and the easy way to filter logs based on fields. The Humio Query Language lets me compose advanced queries that I need to analyze data in Humio.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Humio for about 6 months now and I can't come up with anything that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized logging - a one stop shop for all the logs for all our services. As we are moving towards microservices it is very important with observability into our applications. Humio helps us with that.
Amazingly fast and superb documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The easy integration with existing systems using raw syslog or elastic bulk ingest api and their Grafana plugin. And of course the price. Very cheap compared to other enterprise similar products.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a very good and comprehensive online documentation for the entire product, it is also a lot to read up on just to be able to do somewhat basic searches and alerting. But once you get a hang of it, it is no problem at all.
No pre-made parsers for syslog data, so you will most likely have to make a few parsers that breaks the log data down into individual searchable fields yourself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are in the process of moving all of out logging to Humio, and are already using it for alerting and in operations.

What do you like best about the product?
Humio provides quick access to our system logs. Quick to get up and running as a user

Lack of customisation, in particular, custom views for log where some fields are more relevant than others

Faster more reliable access to logging systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Their query language is pretty solid and the data ingest performance is much more consistent than competing services.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is sometimes a bit confusing, but it's understandable due to the complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to handle large amounts of data much more efficiently than we could with previous systems.

What do you like best about the product?
What i really like about humio is that it's very easy to use and its awesomely fast. They have a very supportive team and they are always there for you to help 24/7. You can use regular expressions over the entire event makes it genuinely powerful. One of the many really awesome and powerful features are that you can create ah hoc dashboards without worrying about having the appropriate index etc. in place or at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little hard as we still have to learn query language to use Humio, this is an investment you will have to make to get the most out of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really helped alot as every logging solutions are very expensive but Humio is very cheap and better as compared to them. Its a good option if you want to save money. And it gives a certain comfort and preparedness knowing that you can fully rely on the data available from the logs.
Awesome overall, excels in complex querying and charting
What do you like best about the product?
We tried many different solutions for log management (papertrail, logdna, datadog logs, logzio, stackdriver logs, scalyr, etc.) and finally settled on Humio - it manages to combine a good UI with some of the best advanced querying and charting features we've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature set is quite comprehensive so there is a learning curve. Some UI features like continuous scroll are still in development (expected in early 2019 I'm told). Occasionally you'll hit a UI bug, but support is awesome - they release fixes sometimes within hours. Query performance is "okay" - it's not the fastest logging solution we've tried but it supports the most complex queries.

Centralized log management (nginx logs, haproxy logs, system logs, app/custom logs, etc.)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an affordable logging solution that supports highly complex queries and advanced charting/dashboards, this is it.
My honest review for humio
What do you like best about the product?
It's dashboard feature is amazing. Humio is very fast it can manage very large amount of data easily. There is a good selections of graph tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
The GUI is not pretty nice and it is bit confusing at times. The server nodes is occasionally down. Here is some small features are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The humio team is very helpful listins to our requests. Today we use humio across the board. and we are happy customer. Humio help us alot
Great tool for log management
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to analyse Raw data at anywhere I want. It helps me keep a log of the data this is I like the most about humio.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Graphic user interface is not very user friendly and creates confusion sometimes.But once you get familiar with the functionalities this is very useful tool.

Humio helps me to understand the raw data and helps me to analyse data and at the same time helps me to keep the log also.
