Assez facile à utiliser et très puissant. Il est difficile d'imaginer faire du support de production sans un outil comme celui-ci.

Je souhaite que ce soit moins cher pour que nous puissions ingérer plus de journaux.

C'est excellent pour diagnostiquer les problèmes de production en examinant et en corrélant les journaux. C'est également utile pour les alertes basées sur des critères.

Certainement à considérer comme une alternative moins chère à Splunk et une solution plus riche en fonctionnalités par rapport à l'open source (par exemple, ELK).

They can add more security and its features. Also more complex options are expected. Still lagging behind SIEM tool

I like that it is easy to automate collector installation across a variety of infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is quite clunky, and lags behind established peers such as Splunk, and up-and-comers such as Google's cloud offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way developers could aggregate logs quickly and easily, without having to perform manual steps that would take them away from their jobs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give them a try depending on your needs. They are pricey, but worth it at this point, especially if your workload is in AWS.
My Sumo Logic review
What do you like best about the product?
I use to have no logs when searching servers till our company found Sumo Logic. This solved an immediate problem. Lots of configurable agents and integration points.
What do you dislike about the product?
The speed isn't the greatest. Sometimes while searching for things from over a month ago...it really slows down. Query language takes a lot to get to know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Application Logging

Sumo Logic is a good system but it definitely needs more updates before it's perfect

Identification of messages is a great feature and the web application troubleshooting is straightforward. Inlije the clean interface.

The metrics are not as valuable as they could be, seems that the algorithems could be a bit more robust.

Qu'aimez-vous le plus à propos de the product?
Avant Sumolog, j'avais de gros problèmes pour rechercher les journaux de mon application sur différents serveurs. Mon application dispose de 4 serveurs et chaque serveur a un nombre de journaux. Parfois, en cas de problème de production, je dois trouver le problème et tracer le journal. Avant Sumolog, je devais me connecter à chaque serveur et trouver le journal, puis individuellement je devais mettre la condition pour affiner les journaux. Mais maintenant, je suis tellement à l'aise et capable d'ajouter rapidement un nombre de paramètres de recherche et Sumo Logic recherche tous les journaux de tous les environnements de serveurs en une seule fois. C'est un gain de temps, rapide et moins sujet aux erreurs. Bon travail, équipe Sumo Logic.

initialement, je dois me souvenir de certains critères de recherche mais après un certain temps, c'est facile à utiliser.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to debug the issues by going through the sumologic account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times the metric shows incorrect values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use for tracking our environment logs.
Sumo Logic to the rescue
What do you like best about the product?
Creating complex search queries is very easy. Parsing the results into a certain format, such as JSON is also very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Speed. When querying something >30 days the search is really slow. I have, however, noticed drastic improvements in the speed in which searches complete so I am guessing Sumo Logic has made great strides in their search speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have all of our production level logs funneled into Sumo Logic. It has made setting up alerts incredibly easy.

It’s helpful to have all of our logs in one place.

It would be helpful if there where more shortcuts to get to what we need and are looking for

It is very useful for log aggregation across multiple application nodes in Amazon Ec2.

There isn't the ability to forward logs to an amazon s3 bucket if you don't ingest the logs

We are trying to improve our time to resolution. With sumologic, we are able to triage an incident much quicker.
