What do you like best about the product?
It will be helpful for learning new things and getting new theoretical knowledge and pratical knowledge on how things will on in the real time scenario cases which helps in the ones life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times the qualys doesn't give the absolute results which we need to segregate afterwards which are genuine and which are false positives, and in most of the caes it will be false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qualys cmdr enables organizations to automatically discover every asses in their environment, including unmanaged assests appearing on the network, inventory all hardware and software, and classify and tag critical assests.

Way representation and classification along with detailed data.
What do you dislike about the product?
auto Subdomain enumeration detection which should need to add manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Of course, it helps us to save time for manual efforts as many of security misconfiguration as well vulnerability found in a single click.

What do you like best about the product?
Qualys authenticated scan methodology are best in the industry. You don't need to enter credentials again and again. User friendly GUI. You can customise Vulnerability scores based on your own application/infrastructure criticality
What do you dislike about the product?
Plug-ins release are little slow. More can be done on improving the time to market plug-in time againt critical vulnerabilities. All need more on container security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset discovery and E2E solution for vulnerability management not just discovery.it helps users to detect any new devices connected in the environment and help remedial of known vulnerabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
User friendly tool. Not need much knowledge of scripting or programming.

What do you like best about the product?
Reporting - A detailed description of vulnerability is provided for the issues affected products, along with steps to mitigate the same.
UI - It is very user-friendly; any user can start working on it very quickly.
VA Scan Signatures - They are updated very frequently to cover the latest VA plugins/scripts are available to test the vulnerability
Integration - It has very nice and easy feature to integrate with other tools like SIEM and SOAR
What do you dislike about the product?
False Positive - The count could be higher at times
Scan duration - The scan takes a lot of time to complete
Cost - Quite on the expensive side compared with other VM tools in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security Risk of the organization is being reduced. Vulnerability Management is being taken care of by the tool also Assessment Compliance is being set as per the industry standards. We are also remediating the issues identified by the tool.

A solid product with a lot of potential

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much information is discovered with the Qualys agent on PCs, Mac's and servers. It is more or less a one stop shop for information on a machine (even when it's not on the internal network)
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and what you get for it. We did a trial of the patch management portion of VMDR and it was highly overpriced for what it was capable of. It is still relatively new on the market so there is certainly room for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qualys has been an excellent product for gathering asset inventory data quickly and easily. I utilize it for reporting at least 2 times per week. If you are strictly utilizing this tool for reporting and reference, then it is great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get support from Qualys to get tags and reports set up. It is not very user-intuitive to build out but, once it's built, reporting is very handy!
