Easy to use intuitive secure File transfer and transfomation
What do you like best about the product?
File transfer audit trail from logs and secure data connections with secure data in motion and at rest
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike - but would sometime like to be able to see which other Administrators are currently logged in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure file transfer on-premise and with Public internet partners. Benefits realized are a centralised Server and Client transfer location that is easy to co-ordinate and control from within the intuitive Admin pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you install the latest stable software version and highest possible java JVM - any SMB network share transfers will greatly benefit from this.

Excellent managed file transfer system
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible, excellent scripting language. Great integration with key management.
What do you dislike about the product?
1600 page manual is hard to find what you’re looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure file transfers and workflow scheduling. Easy to add additional partners.
GoAnywhere is extremely feature rich and is capable of management above our expectations
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere is very intuitive and has taken very little cross training for our I.T. team to become proficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish GoAnywhere had a method to set paths based upon the initial project in order to call subsequent projects. This would facilitate development, test, qa, production hierarchies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use GoAnywhere to manage our FTP transfers, ERP reporting via MS-Excel reports, and file uploads/downloads from our ERP.

Is a good tool to tranfer files in a secure way, very adaptable to the Company needs. Audit logs excellent for compliance, easy deploy and administration,

Licensing has to be more adaptable.Because sometimes you dont need all the options.

What do you like best about the product?
Long time user of GoAnywhere, its growth and improvements have been excellent and one of the reasons we continue to use GoAnywhere. It is a great solution when you have several siloed domains that need to share data in a secure manner. Even with external clients, you can control access. This is one of several things you can do, we leverage it for advanced workflows and ftp alternative because of its security. A lot of control is in your hands.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the features I hope they implement would be to allow control on what gets synchronized to the local storage with the godrive feature. Upgrading capabilities should also be streamlined within the app instead of the server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing internal data when all sites have no internetwork connectivity. We can create shares amongst them, we also have been able to create triggers and automatic workflows with data coming in through our ERP system for better functionality and internal process. Centralize FTP and SFTP connections.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good alternative for dropbox or box.com even onedrive.

What do you like best about the product?
The support for multiple transfer methods and encryption standards, and that it runs on the IBM iSeries. The iSeries is the core platform for all our business systems, but the ability to move data to other applications on other platforms (Windows, AIX/Linux) has made GoAnywhere a critical application in our business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up some types of communications and security accesses are not intuitive nor covered in enough detail in he user documentation, such as traditional EDI. However, the support people for he GoAnywhere products are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They resolved all our issues in the early days of package usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EDI communications, XML transfers, SFTP/FTPS transfers, AS2 communications. Managing the various types of data exchanges we have through one package is extremely efficient as well as convenient..

The GoAnywhere MFT product and the Gateway are worth the investment.
GoAnywhere, the perfect solution for file delivery
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere is a powerful, "super-suite" of file delivery and data manipulation processes. For us it is the ease of using their powerful SFTP solution with their fantastic key management system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not really dislike anything here, but perhaps if I had to mention something it would be the wish for a better "built-in" database option than Derby. This is insignificant really though since you can change it to anything else you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure and reliable data delivery to our customers. Manipulation of raw data into it's file deliverable format. With the ability of GoAnywhere to monitor for file changes, we have easily begun to completely automate file transfers to customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your needs, SFTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS or any combination. GoAnywhere does it better than the rest.

GoAnywhere MFT is the best tool for our Enterprise file transfer needs
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of GoAnywhere MFT is our favorite feature, it can be configured to automate so many of the tasks we used to perform manually or with clunky Linux scripts. With GoAnywhere MFT we have full logging and auditing capabilities, and the advanced reporting tools are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to becoming proficient with GoAnywhere MFT but the staff at HelpSystems offers customized training and that really helped us to help kickstart our team and ramp our skills up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the major benefits we have realized is consistency and stability in our file transfer infrastructure. Our Enterprise currently moves over a million files a week and the stability and efficiency of GoAnywhere MFT has really helped us become more productive.

Take the plunge and try the tool. Our auditors have been thrilled with the features, functions, and security built into GoAnywhere MFT.

What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere MFT has been a godsend for our team - the ability to not only have an extremely easy and secure server to configure for HTTPS and SFTP sharing, but also the ability to have Workflows to perform routine tasks and procedures for us that before were strictly manual. Setup time was incredibly simple and easy, and the system has been incredibly intuitive to use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface could use a little more polish - really struggling to come up with things I dislike about the system - there is a slight learning curve when it comes to how roles and permissions can be set up, but the onboarding training that GoAnywhere Support team utilizes with first-time customers ensures you have all the basics to set up the system how you want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we had seperate servers that were our HTTPS server, a FTP server, and of course we didn't have any automation to our workflows with files. With GoAnywhere, we're now able to set monitors that check vendor FTP servers for updates, and when new updates are found, to automatically download, unzip, and perform all sorts of functions before putting the finished files on our own production file servers.

Work with the support team and ensure that all of your needs are met - there are a lot of additional features and customization the support team can do to make the product work exactly to your specifications.
