What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere has an excellent track record at our organization for reliability, a user-friendly interface and helpful documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some project components have a fairly steep learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use GoAnywhere as an interface between our multiple systems. Its integration capabilities allow us to move files and data to where it needs to go on a schedule that works for us.

Must Have for File Transfer Automation
What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the most valuable assets in our toolbox for our file movement automations and file manipulation. I’ve used GoAnyWhere MFT for the past 6 years and enjoy every moment with it. Our organization uses this tool daily and is one of the backbones for other jobs. Simple task projects can be developed in minutes. There are templates you can follow or build your own. Projects are easily integrated between each other and easy to implement. Customer Service is also always helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
As for now, I honestly don’t really dislike anything about the tool. In the beginning I thought the tool was lacking functions, but it turns out that it was a lack of knowledge on my end. This lack of knowledge was easily resolved by the Customer Service Team and their expertise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File transfer to different entities. Automates this process.
GoAnywhere surpasses expectations
What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere offered Significantly more transfer opportunities than prior products. I have a virtually infinite number of endpoints internally and externally. This offering allows me to meet any of my customers requests.
Their documentation alone is worth the price of admission :) I haven't seen documentation this good in a LONG time.

What do you dislike about the product?
While easy to use, the admin web interface restricts me from doing some things more easily. simultaneously looking at resources, logs, and monitors is impossible without trying to use multiple web pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoAnywhere has allowed me to simplify my MFT environment and provide more offerings for my customers. The combination of GoAnywhere with ClearSwift is exceptional, and I can offer more security for BOTH inbound (virus checking) and outbound (prevention of PCI data) transfers.

What do you like best about the product?
GoAnywhere helps me manage a variety of disparate systems at my job. With several cloud-based systems and an on-prem Oracle EBS application, GoAnywhere allows me to fit a square peg in a round hole.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the functional nature of GoAnywhere projects, inconsistent behaviors can occur during project execution. Typically, this isn't a problem, but it can lead to some real head-scratching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GoAnywhere allows our organization to perform data interfacing between disparate applications effectively. GoAnywhere allows us to accept HR information from UKG and feed it into our local EBS instance for accounting. GoAnywhere allows us to move files from U.S. Customs into our database. Without it, I would be forced to manage a large number of batch files.

What do you like best about the product?
Go anywhere is THE Swiss Army knife of MFT. We replaced at least three other older, costly and insecure products with GoAnywhere MFT.
It was (and is) extremely simple to setup and the integrate with existing systems.
Support, while it can be a bit slow, is spot on with its answers. They stay ahead of the CVE threats and are very quick to fix anything they find or is reported. We dodged several CVE bullets because we chose Fortra GoAnywhere MFT.

What do you dislike about the product?
The setup of "Domains" is a little quirky. Read up and ask questions before you just turn it on. There is nothing I really dislike, just small things and enhancements we'd like to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplified our environment. Saved money by replacing at least three other products. Audit trails, flexibility and ease of use are second to none. We tried several other products. We have liked it so much that we recently doubled our licenses and are growing into other spaces where different groups were looking for help. Secure Folders, Forms and Emails are excellent tools! There are a large number of add-ons available.
Quality product with solid support
What do you like best about the product?
The abundance of connectors and the reliability of the system in general. It's very flexible and easy to use. It makes life easier both upstream and downstream.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've used more intuitive schedulers in the past. I prefer that a schedule's repeat start time not be based upon a previous execution's completion time. That option can be helpful in some situations, but a more predictable start time is usually preferred. Also, I would like a sequence added to a file name to appear before a file's extension.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Go Anywhere is helping our journey to the cloud by pushing files directly to Azure blob storage. It was nice to have this option as our footprint on-prem continues to shrink.

I like GoAnywhere. MFT facilitates:
* Extracting data from a database and sending it in a variety of formats internally and between partners.
* It is very useful for data transformation, manipulating and transforming them into XML, text and spreadsheets.
* Beneficial for speeding up work processes as it enables data integration to move data between different systems, such as joining data from Oracle, Netezza, DB2 and SQL Server.
* Extracting data from a database and sending it in a variety of formats internally and between partners.
* It is very useful for data transformation, manipulating and transforming them into XML, text and spreadsheets.
* Beneficial for speeding up work processes as it enables data integration to move data between different systems, such as joining data from Oracle, Netezza, DB2 and SQL Server.
What do you dislike about the product?
* NAS permissions are a drawback of GoAnywhere MFT; In the future, functionality to enforce user roles and access rights on the NAS would be beneficial.
* I would also like to see GoAnywhere MFT incorporate DNS; It is currently not supported; it would be essential to make adjustments to the template.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Useful for browser-to-browser or server-to-server file transmission and encryption, cloud integration and hosted installations, translation of EDI X12 and EDIFACT files, and secure file sharing, email and collaboration.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend GoAnywhere MFT for data mining, emailing internal spreadsheets between teammates and data to business partners, plus the secure folders module and web client, it's very helpful for setting up third-party providers to record and review files or folders securely.
Goanywhere Best MFT Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Security features, IP Block List, Advance Work Flow using variables, Built in PGP and Compression
What do you dislike about the product?
Still does not support of DNS. I would nice to support DNS and Make changes to template, it will not propogate to all user accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex FTP from VMS system and AS400. I was writing manuall batch script using bat files. It was getting to complicated and time consuming. With GOanywhere MFTP it took matter of hours and minutes instead of days. It worked very well using Goanywhere

Just try it out. They will give you POC and best support during POC. They hold hands and show you how to do the advance work flow.
