Great tech - little known secret...
What do you like best about the product?
I like the astounding capabilities of Base64's AI engine. While they support many different document types, you almost don't need them since their AI engine is so good. If you have good prompting skills, you can make their platform do just about anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve with the JSON generated by their technology. You'll only see that if you are doing API integrations. If all you need is their web portal tools, you will find that an easy and powerful alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love their computer vision capabilities. Makes solving complex problems so easy with the right prompting.
Using their prebuilt templates makes OCR a breeze too. I originally thought I'd have to look for a solution that had built in document edge detection; but once I started using Base64's platform I quickly threw away that requirement.

Gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
Once you give it very detailed instructions, it will get the job done efficiently and quicker than human eyes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it will sometimes follow the instructions to process documents perfectly & other times doesn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to manually review hundreds of certificates of insurance at work, and Base64.ai simplifies that process and makes it more doable for me.

It has a very high efficiency, vasatility and processes the data at high speed and with a high efficiency

Great product - powerful document extraction
What do you like best about the product?
Base64 is really feature rich when it comes to document extraction. The thing that makes it a bit unique in the market from our research was the customizability. You could customize pretty much everything about the product with your own code, which is a huge plus. You don't have to use those features though, but they are available. The support team was really nice to work with through our demo. It also comes with a ton of built in integrations which are easy to use - for example they have plugins with UiPath so you can use the extracted data downstream.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product works great, the only downside I can think is that it seemed like the projected costs were a bit higher than some other industry leaders. It also probably doesn't have the largest user community for asking questions, but their internal support team is really good which offsets that some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We demo'd this product for usage in our IDP program to automate business processes. We ultimately went with another product but I had a lot of hands on time with Base64.

the system highlighted the areas of interest nicely, it was easy to implement, appears that it would be easy to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was not a mechanism to validate the review of medical records, to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, that the data was verefied.

I wanted it to expediate the medical chart we need to perform on all donated human tissue

Easy onboarding. No burdensome sales calls to given the system a go.

Once you get going it can be a bit tricky to fine time for unique use cases.

This is the best platform for streamlining inventory services that I have come across so far in my career experience.

It has reduced cases of fraud by 90% by ensuring that counterfeit prodcuts does not appear on our marketing network. Base64.ai has enhanced increased sales with automated personalized recommendations of our products.

What do you like best about the product?
Base64.ai enables me to extract and organize metadata from designing tools that gives accurate results. It saves me alot of time that I use to get files from clients forms using AI automations. I have accomplished most design projects within stipulated timelines and complied with brand standards using perfect text elements extracted with OCR.

There are few errors that can be easily rectified from poor data translations from distorted files.
