Excellent vendor, great account manager (Meghan) and great application development experience
What do you like best about the product?
Flexible licensing options, great platform support, excellent account manager, great ability to create excellent, modern solutions. The support is truly outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more licensing options for beginning so we would not have to license each individual application on the platform as this creating internal barriers to adoption
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating / configuring modern business applications quickly. It saves a considerable amount over custom code development and avoids locking you into a vendors implementation as you have flexiblity to change grow and evolve your applications...the perfect middle ground
Appian is great
What do you like best about the product?
Appian provides a platform that allows almost anyone to create a functioning app in a short amount of time. It also allows seasoned developers to use their skills to create something in an hour that may take them two or three hours when using straight coding. The user interface is great and there are endless amounts of support tools to help make the most of the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Appian is easy to use, its interface and UI can be a bit clunky and takes some time to get used to. The platform can also be very slow and take far too much time to render a small change. Users expect speed when interacting with applications and Appian doesn't necessarily provide that at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Appian solves is the ability to create a fully functioning application without spending much time coding. Almost anyone can pick up using Appian after a few hours of watching videos and reading documentation.
