Domo BI tool with Data Warehouse capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
My company didn't have a data warehouse in place when we needed to start creating dashboards, so we were able to use the Domo connectors to bring in data from a variety of sources and build dashboards quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of folders make navigation/organization a bit odd, and I don't feeling the admin/data governance is very intuitive. Also, there's some weird quirks about drilling down from the visuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ingesting and reporting on multi-source data
Domo has allowed me to understand the markets I work in on a much deeper level
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visual charts on domo that allow me to quickly make decisions. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Domo to be honest
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking data based action
Been a huge help to our workflows overall
What do you like best about the product?
We've found Domo to be an extremely effective tool for building dashboards from our Jira instances. Its native Jira connector makes it easy to pull in data across multiple projects and instances, while Magic ETL allows us to clean, transform, and normalize complex issue data—no heavy SQL required. This has enabled us to create dashboards tailored for engineering teams, QA, and leadership, providing visibility into sprint progress, backlog trends, and SLA performance in real time.
Domo’s flexibility and ease of use have allowed both technical and non-technical users to derive insights quickly. Automated refreshes, custom alerts, and role-based sharing have improved cross-team collaboration and reduced manual reporting overhead. As our data needs grow, Domo continues to scale well and has become a key part of our reporting and project tracking workflows.

What do you dislike about the product?
Domo has been a powerful tool for building dashboards from our Jira instances. While some customization does require a bit of engineering effort—especially when working with complex JQL queries or transforming nested issue data—the platform is intuitive overall. Its Magic ETL and native Jira connector make it easy to shape and visualize data, and once set up, dashboards provide real-time insights across engineering, QA, and leadership with minimal maintenance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing advanced dash boarding for our needs.
Great Data Flow
What do you like best about the product?
gives great visibility to data collaboration across networks
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is old and basic, but gets the job done
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing and virtualizing a large set of data across different data sets and compiling together
Domo converted us to their consumption model and LOST us!
What do you like best about the product?
There is very little to like about Domo!
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo's architecture seems to be designed to keep information away from its customers until it costs them money! When I raised a concern about understanding our uses when converting from the license-based model to their new consumption model, NO information was shown about our prior use. While they "converted" our legacy use to a 0$-basis, any modifications made to the datasets or ETL processes switched them to credit-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is currently a combination of data warehouse, etl processing, and visualization tool
Watch out for last minute renewal surprises
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is a robust and highly scalable platform that offers a lot of flexibility to meet our business needs. It performs reliably and provides out-of-the-box integrations with many data services. Domo is very good at continually expanding its feature set and is consistently making new releases. It has been a pleasure using their platform over the last 7 years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have always sung Domo's praises, however about 2 months before our next renewal, we were notified that next year's price was going to be an unimaginable 1120% more than our last renewal, and in 3 years they said it will be 2240% higher than our last renewal price. This is with the same number of users, and actually a decrease in consumption compared to last year's renewal due to import optimizations we have made. This sudden and substantial pricing increase, communicated only ~2 months prior to our contract expiration, is forcing us to rush a migration over to a different platform. It is deeply disappointing to see them treat a client of 7 years like this, and it unfortunately eroded our trust with them as a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A great and growing analytics tool that has many integrations that work right out of the box.
Best Platform I've Ever Used
What do you like best about the product?
For my team: having all our tools in one platform has been revolutionary. From Data ingestion, transformation, visualization, jupyter notebooks, projects & notes for project management, buzz for chatting, and so much more! Our team has seen tremendous growth and engagement with our users that we never saw in Tableau, PowerBI, or DataIku. Domo is a fantastic platform with so many different uses.
As an added bonus, the support and customer service we receive from Domo is top-tier and I trust them to see my issues as important and they actually will get work done quickly to resolve the issues, unlike when I've issues with other major platforms.
My team lives inside of Domo and we use it every day. It's easy to teach out users how to view and interact with the data and buy-in we've got around our organization has been great.
Pricing is fair and we use the consumption based model - I never feel like the company is trying to nickle and dime us and I think that we definitely get our money's worth from it.
Overall fantastic tool and I would recommend to anyone. 10/10

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a MySQL 5.0 based platform so some of the features in it don't work as well as you'd expect or want them to. I don't use the SQL Data Transforms or Views very much because they're slow (SQL Data Transforms) and the Views usefulness is extremely limited. To balance that out, the Magic ETL has incorporated new SQL tiles, which make up all the deficit of not having a strict SQL interface and is exceedingly quick to run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
from data warehousing to BI to workflows, Domo helps with all those problems.
Is DOMO Perfect?
What do you like best about the product?
KPI's dashboards and charts are really easy to create and the tool is connectable with Smartsheet. I use it each week to check the KPI's from the last week and its really easy to implement the tool to the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow loading times if you have a lot of data.
Customer support is answering slowly.

It helps me implement KPIs and dashboards, charts and any other statistics about master data in my company.
One of the easiest data visualization platform to use
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is super easy to use. It is a one stop solution to manage all your data, clean data using ETLs and create visualizations. Their new app feature is my favorite it makes navigating through cards so much easy and generate valuable insights from the data
What do you dislike about the product?
All the new features such as apps and AI capabilities are not completely developed yet but I am sure these will also get better with time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have data flowing from number of sources and with Domo it is easy to import all the data in one place and process and clean the data using highly efficient ETLs. This reduces processing time drastically and also makes it easier to manage large volume of data from multiple sources
Part of our Campus Initatives
What do you like best about the product?
It's ability to be able to connect with all different types of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's limited graphic ability to make our reports really stand out (example: trend lines with bar graphs)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
bridging the gap on solo environments.
