DBeaver - powerful editor available at no cost
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful query functions built into to the software, for ex. write a query, right click and fetch the row count.
Record limits (paging) for queries rather than the table or view, by default, not even provided by Navicat PostgreSQL enterprise version.

What do you dislike about the product?
Earlier, setting timezone via dbeaver.ini was a recommended solution, but the solution has stopped working now.
The Premium version is more expensive as compared to alternatives. Having access to charts at an affordable price would be preferable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using DBeaver to learn data analytics. A ton of built-in functions help power through querying.
Writing a query and using the features such as row count for the query, exporting results from the query directly from the editor help speed up the learning process.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like bets in dbeaver that you can see the value of any table column separately in a new window ,for example you are saving json in a table you can select the column and you can see proper structure of JSON in a separate window

As it is secure we need to connect again and again ,to view databse.,other than this everything is better in dbeaver ,this ia already a better product , improvement in a ii may be

Complex table structure can be seen through Er diagrams,usefull in development,yes already earning better because of this product

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, I have used both mysql, pgsql and sqlite databases and its a breeze to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you have to open a tab to write database queries. there should be an option to write a query while viewing the database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I a just using it as a backend developer on linux platform. it is one of the most popular, user friendly, dev-friendly and open-source managers that you can find.
Best Tool For Database Management
What do you like best about the product?
I can save different script files for the same DB instance, It helps me segregate all queries. In case if I have to get the DDL, Insert query, or any DDL and DML. It provides both the functionality. Moving data from one instance table to another instance table is very easy. Even updating a record is very easy just double click on the data and save it in the execution time and boom, no need to write an extra query.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited access for the community edition. Importing data from CSV or DDL/DML in the community edition is not available. Sometimes we got errors while doing some operation of moving data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to execute large queries with better optimization and segregations of the script files. Moving data from one instance table to another instance table. Importing data from CSV files.

What do you like best about the product?
Using this software, I can easily connect to any database, and I can also create local databases of my own. It is an easy-to-use tool with good features and with simple design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think anything to dislike because it works well for what we use it for. I wish sometime it had support for AWS. Query results fetching time is bit slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cleaning Data in databases is very easy with this software. Also, it has a tool that optimizes database tables, which is very convenient for cumbersome databases

There are quite some features I like in DBeaver:
1. Keywords are highlighted
2. Keywords are auto-populated
3. When you find for place your cursor on a word, all the words in the scripts having those characters are highlighted

I use SQL on a daily basis, and I'd like to use the LIMIT option.
There is not LIMIT in DBeaver, there is only FETCH TOP x ROWS ONLY instead.

There are quite a few problems I solve as a Business Analyst using DBeaver.
1. Run queries to check the quality of data
2. Run Database tasks (This is an amazing option to get a huge amount of results from the Database)

DBeaver is an awesome tool to query and analyze data from Databases. just like any other tool, it would take a while to get a hang of it. Once you're there, you'd love it

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is easy to maneuver between platforms. I like how it is easy to use and easy to find data. I like that it is free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate how it constantly disconnects to the internet, and I have to reconnect multiples a day. The export feature is complicated to use. It would be great to have an excel (not CSV) export feature and an easier way to copy data tables from dbeaver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm creating data tables by using the Postgres SQL in dbeaver. I'm able to easily find data from different data schemes and then combine them together to make the data tables that I need. It would also be great if it had an auto save feature to recover unsaved work.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can use pretty much any database with dbeaver! It's also relatively easy to use; I switched from another solution and was able to learn dbeaver very quickly and easily!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some tools that are a little hard to find, but they are tools that may not be commonly used. Aside form that, not much else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed us to switch between databases seamlessly, and is a great, flexibly tool!

Nothing found yet. It is simple and perfect in the way it is now.

I have used DBeaver to mass upload the data from Excel sheet to DB instead of entering each manually.
