We have several apis and also many servers behind a url. HA proxy is easy to use in both use cases

It's great for L4 lb and routing traffic. The pther product probably has same capabilities only when paid

L4 load balancing is most helpful it has. In combination with ssl based determination allows complixated routing tuels

Ha proxy flexible data plane and the edge network.

Nothing to dislike about HA Proxy. We like the features provided by this kubernetes solution.
