Very satisfying and useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used LaunchDarkly to implement both feature flags and A/B tests for web applications, and have found it very satisfactory and trouble-free. It was extremely easy to integrate with the LaunchDarkly API from our server-side code, and the dashboard for setting up and managing flags and tests was very easy to use.
Very happy with the functionality around adding custom info and identifiers to our users so they can be consistently bucketed.

What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints I can think of, everything I have needed to do has been smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flagging of new features - this allows us to safely roll out new features to a subset of users, and switch them off if there appear to be issues.
A/B testing is something that our product team are extremely keen on - we constantly have multiple A/B tests running, managed by LaunchDarkly.

A simple way to safely launch updates
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use interface and usage metrics to support data gathering to guide future product updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly small inconsistencies like having to opt out targeted users to consider the flag to be fully launched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to safely test new features. Targeting specific users for their feedback around feature implementation. CI/CD to progressively support and update our product without losing steam.
Best feature flag product on the market
What do you like best about the product?
The performance is unparalleled when evaluating feature flags, giving us the flexibility we need to impact millions of users monthly. It's really simple to implement, support is great and we use it daily integrated with our product workflow, nothing goes to production without LaunchDarkly.

Improved perfromance when handling larger email lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy real-time flow changes and safe deployments
Launch Darkly for Financial Institutions main customer facing site
What do you like best about the product?
Feature toggle and the ability to launch to a small pilot set
What do you dislike about the product?
We have setup Launch Darkly flags now through Jenkins, a process which is painful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enable/Disable features for a small pilot
Launch Darkly makes turning features on / off seamless
What do you like best about the product?
Launch Darkly allows you to use custom json to provide literally any type of flag you want down to your client. You can provide a whole configuration for a user, making it easier than even making a user profile for some simple apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
They update their APIs very often and deprecate them shockingly fast (especially given most have some kind of breaking change). I would like longer windows of older supported APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launch Darkly allows me to beta test features, hidden from general consumption. This allows me to push features continuously without having to worry about everyone seeing work in progress.
Saves analyts' bandwidth, reduces time to insight and integration friendly
What do you like best about the product?
- It's warehouse native, you get to access the same data structure it utilizes for ad-hoc querying
- The costs incurred on your warehouse are transparent and auditable
- You have complete control over what you feed houseware - create synthetic events, augment/enrich existing events, ignore events

What do you dislike about the product?
- It depends entirely on how you've modelled event data - can't get started without bringing events to the houseware specified structure
- The "Flows" visualization has limitations on how many dimensions you can use to filter the view - understandable because of how compute heavy this visualization is
