great remote control tool
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly is adopted across the company. No need to purchase additional license
What do you dislike about the product?
It works well for our need to control features remotely so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidate our feature control solution across different platforms.
adding feature flags to do A/B testing
What do you like best about the product?
easier and quick to add/remove feature flags.
What do you dislike about the product?
N.A I do not have any specific area that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
making it easy to introduce feature flags for a/b testing
Feature flags can be IAC as well
What do you like best about the product?
Documentation and API support are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nomenclature to certain elements of fields is a little misleading at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Feature flag management is easier to change and logging provides a robust support on the history.
good experience using it so far
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
nothing notable so far but i also don't use it

Overall a great tool for rollouts
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to use
Good features: percentage rollout, multiple flag states, easy interface in code, and performance seems good (flag get calls are handled at high volume well)
Good features: percentage rollout, multiple flag states, easy interface in code, and performance seems good (flag get calls are handled at high volume well)
What do you dislike about the product?
Some nits about usability: editing/adding approvers for a flag change proposal, inability to edit flag names (though this may be by design)
Onboarding was a little confusing at first since there are so many options
Sometimes, it is too easy to use, and we fall into the anti-pattern of using LD flags as configuration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use LD to more finely control features so we can launch them to customers in a controlled manner. It also allows us to quickly revert bad launches vs redeploying.
Works as intended for a normal user
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean and works well and I typically have a good understanding of what I need to do to get a certain action to happen
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration into codebase isn't as seamless as I would expect, and the number of outages are somewhat annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lets us ensure that we roll out products without being regressive in the customer experience
Launch Darkly is easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The environment specific keys is a great feature and the values are fetched quickly programatically unlike other feature flag providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. Things have just worked fine with Launch Darjly for me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier I used to store my feature flags in database, now I am using Launch Darkly for this purpose. Its very quick to access the flags from Launch Darkly.
Easy, risk minimizing way, to test feature releases
What do you like best about the product?
I like how LaunchDarkly makes it easy to toggle features on and off. It is nice that you can target a percentage or regions. We use it all the time to protect feature releases in production. It works for us because our product has high risk so we cannot afford to do rollbacks of the deployed version. It is easy to implement and integret into the app with each new feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it can be tircky to set up customed targetting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our product has high risk involved because it is health care. Sometimes we cannot test things in the dev env. With the targetting it is easy to target a test account in production in order to get these features tested.
Great feature flagging tool
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to deploy features at the best time for the engineering team and release to customers at the best time for the product and support teams
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to easily copy segments between environments
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LD allows us the work on big features across many sprints, deploying every two weeks, without releasing a large feature until we are ready. It also provides risk management by giving us the ability to turn features off if they are not working properly.
Quick way to enable software in Production
What do you like best about the product?
LaunchDarkly offers a streamlined solution for managing feature flags, empowering teams to toggle features with remarkable speed and precision. With just a few clicks, we can seamlessly turn features on and off in real-time, eliminating the need for lengthy deployment cycles and minimizing downtime.
This rapid iteration capability has transformed our development process, enabling us to iterate and innovate at an unprecedented pace. LaunchDarkly's intuitive interface and comprehensive feature set provide everything we need to effectively control our feature releases and monitor their impact on user behavior.

What do you dislike about the product?
I find Launchdarkly frustrating at times due to occasional reliability issues on the website with the state of a flag. There have been instances where I've needed to refresh the page multiple times to ensure I have the current state of a flag, which disrupts my workflow and diminishes the overall user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launchdarkly solves the problem of wanting to try something in Production but not wanting the potential long downtime if things go wrong and need to be rolled back
