Keep some patience with where qlik is lacking, things will move to solve all your needs
Qlik Puts Straight-Forward Data in Front of You
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik makes it very easy to review different markets data for my organization and compare who each market is doing against others. The ability to see data presented in different graphs and charts means that I can easily communicate to different stakeholders in ways that makes sense to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building new qlik reports can sometimes be confusing for someone who isn't an expert. It's easy to make one small mistake that can easily skew the data without easily seeing the problem
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a sales environment, data is EVERYTHING. We previously had many different areas to go for for information, and Qlik consolidates that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to have someone in your organization that is a superuser, and knows how to teach others while being willing to do regular trainings that make sense for the person being trained.
NPrinting makes report building easy
What do you like best about the product?
NPrinting allows organizations of any size to create semi-automated, semi-custom reports with ease. While different users with different functional roles have varying needs and uses for their data, Nprinting can help these disparate groups leverage the information for their own unique purpose without requiring a ton of customization hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike all of the money I spent previously in custom development hours. Had I known about Qliksense Nprinting previously, I could have saved my team tons of money leveraging the out of box capabilities of this tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every group in my organization has to tell a different story with the same data. Leveraging the same data for their unique purpose requires custom development of reports and data analytics needs. Nprinting solves these problems by providing powerful semi custom report generation capabilities, and doing it well and with ease.
QlikView helped me show performance indicators on a user friendly way
What do you like best about the product?
The easy of use of the app. It's very intuitive, it doesn't take much to get familiarized with it. As i used to sort different indicators for differents members of the company i work for, not everyone was familiarized with it, so i had to pretty much teach them how to go through the app, and if it wasn't as intuitive as it is, that could have been an issue. I also like the fact that the app takes info from different sources, so you can add things like excel spreadsheets and that Qlikview would gather that data too. Or if your company runs different types of software, Qlikview manages to gather all that information in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly didn't experience any mayor stepbacks while using the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having information coming from different sources and have it all gather in one place, with a friendly setting and appealing visualizacion (different type of graphics and charts) so people can interpret it as fast and easy as possible. Also, having the tool of setting it up so every user gets to see the information that suits it's profile and needs. Having to deal with confidential information makes this tool useful to have everything gather in one place, and at the same keep confidential what is has to stay that way.

Nprinting lets you easily make PDF outputs easy

its an extra cost to the base qlikview or sense, at least with our contract

Lets us setup PDF outputs of dashboards

Very useful for administration that dont want to access qlikview directly
New Way to Visualize Graphs
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how interactive Qlik is, it makes your typical graphs more interactive. I really like how you can select a piece of a bar graph and narrow in to see more detail
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I like the functionality, its hard to use while giving a timed presentation. I try to summarize a few pieces of it, but would love to show every little bit

Show managers how everything is broken down so that they can see the details within the graph
Great Resource for Analyzing Data
What do you like best about the product?
Qlikview allows us to create many different dashboard to analyze the data we already have in an efficient and organized manner. We have been able to quickly draw conclusions for our marketing campaigns, look at overall performance, and separate out data to make the best decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reload times can be slow, as sometimes the data is not real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to analyze all sorts of data and separate it out to only see what we need to. We can analyze our customers and their buying behaviors, see what's working, manage our internal inventory, and more using qlikview.
QlikView Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it has many different reports that contains different typed of data and you can drill down on data further and further to find the information you're looking for. I like that you can export and email reports to yourself on a specific schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the filtering of the reports. It is not very intuitive and user-friendly. It takes a long time to filter what you're looking for and if you hit an incorrect button it all goes away. I wish that you save your filters better too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving data analysis problems. We're able to see a lot of different data in the reports. I can also see data based on certain time periods, which I cannot see in our other programs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore or ask for help when trying to customize and filter reports. You're able to do things that aren't necessarily user-friendly.
Excellent way to view and tell stories about data
What do you like best about the product?
I love that everything within the platform is interactive. Being able to drill down is a very powerful feature. Much better than run-of-the-mill static charts and tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve was steep, but not impossible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a unique way to give our staff members a view into how our organization is performing against predetermined goals.
