A Business Intelligence tool which is Jack of all and master of many..
What do you like best about the product?
1. Data discovery and the power of association - best in market
2. Covers end to end needs of Data preparation, Governance and Reporting. This unique offering has enabled us to deliver wide scale self service, as users need agility and trust in data while exploring it for self service. Makes understanding of data anomalies extremely efficient if you have the right consultants with the tool knowledge.
3. Making efficient use of RAM - Most of the top BI tools allow In-Memory analytics, but they don't work well as in memory data volume increases (e.g 500+ million rows). QlikSense performs much better here.
4. Mashups & API Support - The wide support for APIs have really been helpful to deliver Custom and poweful Web portals. Also it has helped us in automating many QlikSense tasks (e.g. Reload and ops monitoring with third party software like Active Batch). This is where it offers lot of room for innovation.
5. Vizlib Extension Support - This is where it can now compete with Tableau in the rich visualization support. This was an area where Tableau captured the market share quickly. However, Vizlib has ensured that Qlik users are not left behind in this space. Really love the Self Service extension of Vizlib.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. Advanced analytics support - This is an area where Qlik has been catching up. The K-Means clustering was recently released in Sep'20 release. Would like to see support for more such capabilities. Vizlib does provides forecasting for line charts.
2. Self Service rollout with Analyzer license - Recently we rolled out a self service application, only to realise that the org had moved to professional/analyzer licensing from token based model and the users with analyzer license cannot edit sheet amd do self service. This will need either professional license or use of Vizlib Self Service extension
3. Qlik Insights Bot - We had evaluated this product, for enhancing the customer experience for Self Service, however this still needs more maturity and customisation support, to meet the NLP expectations from users, to improve user adoption. I believe this will eventually come in the future releases.

We have used QlikSense for a variety of problems. Below are a few:
Building a robust Self Service Analytics platform which helped in quickly preparing and analyzing new datasets especially when there is a major time constraint.
Building mashups which has been really helpful to analyze information across multiple dashboards on a single custom built portal.
Building secure section access driven applications for Reps, Managers and plotting custom defined Sales Force shapes in Geo Analytics. etc.

If you are looking for an Enterprise tool which is capable of meeting complex & evolving Business needs and provide End to End solution delivery, QlikSense is the best choice in the market.
However, the people with right skills are difficult to find, so keep some buffer time for your onboarding.

Sometimes Qlik is a bit complex managing data structures.
Also, Qlik is not very user-friendly when you do not want to use the default customization.

BI, Data Science and Analytics. Data analisis, good visualizations, finding outliers and relationships between data, statistics.

Qlik is the best data insights product!
What do you like best about the product?
Many things, the speed to insights from data loading to visualisations and creating stories. ALL the data is visible thanks to the associative engine.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that free edition of Qlik Sense desktop is not available any more. It is a great way to learn about the product and for showcasing value to the customer.

With Qlik Sense we are able to better understand the needs of the customer, working with various companies who use Qlik Sense it has shown the ease with which you can load data from various different sources to create insights.

the rings, the different possibilities of connection to the data, the dynamic panels, and the continuous development and implementation of innovations that greatly enhance analytics

the calculation of 5 in tables, the rules of 3 and very simple functions that really make their implementations complicated
