Okta - Great Product and Time Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Okta is great for Single Sign-on and Provisioning. It seamlessly passes credentials to 3rd party applications and is excellent for automating Lifecycle Management for user access.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've used Okta for several years and have run into multiple issues, but Customer Support is always quick to resolve our problems or provide a workaround.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to automate giving access to apps like Box and Smartsheet with ease and de-provisioning by automatically transferring data to other users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start now! It's much easier to implement at the beginning than waiting and converting everything over to it. The simplicity and ease of use is a big selling point, along with the overall control over identity and access.
Okta is best SSO solution and have many features like Okta MFA , One password and IWA

really good to have SSO and in one view you can see all app and can assign to users groups and very fast you can block everything you want and for which user you want

This is the most secure way to work in a distributed workforce!

There is nothing that I dislike about Okta. I never want to work without it.

Accessing several different platforms in a simple but safe way very quickly has been life changing. Okta saves me so much time!
OKTA is one of the easiest and safest all login access that I have ever used.
What do you like best about the product?
All the apps that I need are all in one place and I don't need to set password reminders for every app I use ever again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every setup and credential will need to go through IT which makes troubleshooting very troublesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing any internal app or data center can use OKTA for access.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great to use when your company have a lot of different apps that you can help the employee to have a all in one hub for accessing the app and information needed.
OKTA makes accessing work applications easy from any location.

I love OKTA because all of my work applications are in one place. If I am not at my HQ I can still access all I need from any browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like the following:
When signing into your account, you must verify your account with a code. That parts fine, but employees only can text a code to one phone number or SMS. I would love to send a sign-in code to more than one telephone number, just if I left one of my two phones behind.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using OKTA for office support. Workday, benefits access, and much more. OKTA is our hub to access resources from our phones and any PC with an internet connection.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
OKTA MOBILE is very useful for on-the-go employees as well as on-call. I can submit my hours anywhere, as well as answer service requests from the palm of your hand!
High level of security without having to remember all the passwords

The single sign-on has been an enormous help. Feels more secure than just saving my passwords in Google

Initially, setting up something in Okta can be a little time consuming, and sometimes the password doesn't change in Okta when I've changed it elsewhere
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to keep a long spreadsheet to access the tools I use most at work. If I forget to log out of everything, Okta will block entry back into my systems until I sign in.

The first reason is it has two versions, web and mobile. I can always use it with my phone and laptop.
It has a free trial which lets you decide if it will serve your needs.
Lastly, I never have to keep track of my passwords. It's a life saver.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps the User Interface and the graphic elements of the app could be better. It's too plain and not appealing to the eyes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Okta as a single sign-on tool. We store all shared and non-shared passwords on Okta. You can have as many passwords as possible without the need to remember each one of them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I totally recommend it for people who have a lot of passwords and want to avoid the hassle of remembering or writing each one of them.
Secure Identity with Okta
What do you like best about the product?
We like Okta due to its ease of use. Okta helps us capture our passwords such that you do not have to remember the password and username. For instance, we use a shared password on Zendesk. Signing in from okta allows you not to have the login details of your figure tips. Instead of sharing the password to all agents you just sign in with okta securely. Okta has its own authenticator app for two-step authentication making everything secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's quite expensive to use Okta. At times people can access your accounts from your device since they will be allowed to sign in through the Okta saved password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Okta to sign in to our shared account without having to remember the password. We manage all our applications login details and provide two-step authentication through the Okta auth app
