What do you like best about the product?
The Okta for Good program is the biggest win. 50 free licenses and deep discounts make enterprise-grade security accessible for a non-profit like us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Okta gives Jack.org enterprise-level security and management efficiency that we couldn't otherwise afford. It's complex to master, but the control and security it provides are well worth the administrative hassle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"Password Chaos" and Security Risks: Before Okta, our staff and volunteers had to remember a different username and password for every application or use LastPass to share passwords. This led to password reuse, sticky notes on monitors, and an avalanche of password reset requests to the IT team. It was a massive security vulnerability and a huge time sink.Okta helped us to implement SSO, SAML/SCIM, and SWA to eliminate that.

So far, Okta has been perfect for my needs. I haven't encountered any issues.

This is my main dashboard at work, and it really makes authentication both safer and easier. I also appreciate how well it helps with organisation.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta's most helpful feature is its ability to provide centralized access. As a result, you can use a single login to access all your necessary tools, which we do every day as part of our jobs. The system has proven to be highly reliable, and we have not encountered any significant issues. When support is needed, assistance is readily available. Beyond its user-friendly interface, one of Okta's key strengths is the ease with which it can be integrated and implemented. For IT and administrative teams, the platform streamlines the process of connecting and deploying new applications. This centralized control simplifies user management, making it easy to onboard new employees, provision access to different tools, and enforce security policies across the organization. The intuitive setup process allows for rapid deployment, ensuring a seamless transition and quick adoption throughout the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Okta provides a secure and centralized access point for our tools, the unreliability of the email-based OTP delivery can be a major point of friction for users. When an email with the verification code is delayed, flagged as spam, or simply not received, it creates a roadblock that prevents immediate access to critical systems. This issue could be significantly improved by implementing a more reliable alternative for two-factor authentication. For example, offering the option to use a mobile authenticator app or SMS text message for verification would provide a more immediate and secure experience, reducing dependency on email and ensuring continuous access for all users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta has been very helpful in my daily work, as it improves my productivity by streamlining access to the tasks and tools connected through the platform. Having everything linked through Okta makes it easier for me to manage my workflow.

What do you like best about the product?
The browser extension is amazing. It just makes my life a smidge easier because I don't have to scour through my bookmarks bar for the key items we have included.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, there isn't anything glaringly bad about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Singly Sign-On is the best, I don't have to worry about passwords being messed up in my browser anymore!

What do you like best about the product?
That it was able to integrate all our tools without any issues. We can easily pull up tools without logging in to different accounts or tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it sometimes automatically log out other tools and need to log in or enter your credentials. Moments like this usually happens while on shift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OKTA helped us by integrating our main tools into one-time login via OKTA. Now, we can pull up tools without us logging in one-by-one with our tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be high for smaller organizations, especially as you add more advanced features like adaptive MFA, lifecycle management, or customer identity. Some customers feel that you end up paying separately for features that competitors bundle.
