Perfect Authentication & Identity Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
With the ongoing work-from-home trend, the cyber-surface area has grown many folds. Okta can cater to the needs of developers, administrators and users by providing cloud-based authentication & authorization of user identities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't noticed any glitches with either the cloud-platform or mobile-based application. It works good in background and sends notification when a security prompt is initiated to authorize acces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To cater to the needs of massive growing and dynamic list of our employees, vendors & customers, we have integrated Okta into our SaaS platform. Its self-service portal helps users with basic needs, reducing unnecessary workload on service desks.
Great tool for secure login for multple applications
What do you like best about the product?
Single click signin functionality on all the applications i use..Also i can have all applications on the okta ui instrad of rememvering or saving my applications as bookmarks, remembering different passwords
What do you dislike about the product?
Lot of applications still unavailable which we can signin directly using okta authentication

Provisioning all applications to be stored at one place, single signin facility with extra layer of security

user authentication becomes easy and we don't have to remember all the applications' passwords and details. We can use okta saml or odic for the authorisation and authentication,sso

sometimes, it becomes tedious as it does not remember the saved passwords and slow authentication via Okta mobile
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
as mentioned , integration with the application for authorization and authentication. for assigning roles with mappers

Okta puts all the apps I need in one convenient location. No fooling around and searching my desktop for the apps and tools I use daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have no complaints. Okta has been great.

Okta helps keep me organized and puts every useful app where I need it.

accessible from the internet so even if my laptop is having an issue with a particular application I have a few different ways of gaining access

I don't like the multi-factor authentication that I have to do multiple times every single day

Ability to work remotely from any location and having one singular place to store my numerous passwords
Okta provides us with the security our programs need
What do you like best about the product?
It has restrictions and access by roles, which prevents unauthorized people from accessing confidential information. It also has a single sign-on management, which allows me to enter the password only once and be able to access the programs, without having to repeat the process for each program I want to use. When I forget a password, it is easy but safe to retrieve it again.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you lose the mobile application or something happens with it, it will be complicated to regain access to your programs, so it will be necessary to call the technical service to help, so it is necessary to improve the attention of its technical department, because it is not as fast as I would like, especially in these emergency cases. Configuring the program is not so simple, but that is a guarantee that your information will be well secured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this software to give a higher level of security to all our programs, applications and information in general, in order to prevent theft and leaks of sensitive company information. It contains several password, security and credential management tools, which allows us to have full confidence in the program.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is one of the most efficient information backup programs that we have used in the company and we have not had any negative situation so far. The fact that I only need to log into a single session to access all my programs allows me to do my work faster. This is a program that can help many companies of all sizes, which is why I recommend it.

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to manage. It has a bunch of integrations and almost every major SaaS solution has an integration today. Most of them will work by just doing a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations are tough to handle. For example, the O365 had me working on it for a while. It forces you to read very carefully as it's easy to mess things up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Okta works pretty well as an Identity manager. Besides, it's very helpful to assign and manage product licenses and give access to all our products and services. Best part is that many of those are given automatically so IT doesn't have to worry about assigning stuff to new hires.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Configuring O365 was though. That took days to work and even after a month we were still tunning things up. It[s not impossible, but definitely not the easiest. For many other tools and apps, it´s like bread and butter.
Okta SSO is very safe and secure.
What do you like best about the product?
I find Okta customer identity very safe and secure as it provides only authorised access to the one single platform through which we can access all the applications of our tech stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
It sometimes forgets the trusted device very frequently which is frustrating as it again requires login and to verify through two-factor authentication as per our chosen method.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta customer identity is very safe and secure as it provides only authorised access to the one single platform using two-factor authentication methods which makes it an even more secure environment through which we can access all the applications of our tech stack.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta is user friendly while enhancing additional layer of security to the accounts and applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
The okta logs is not granular and needs to be fine tuned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Additional layer of security of my accounts and appication by providing Adoptive Multifactor Authentication.
