Amazing software to standardize security, on- and off- boarding, and employee happiness
What do you like best about the product?
Okta makes on- and off-boarding so easy now that I've implemented it. Users get added to all the software they need in less than 15 minutes, instead of over an hour like it used to be without Okta. A single pane of glass to manage users, and security via MFA has been instrumental for my team and I.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislike with Okta is not even with Okta itself, but the vendors that have Okta integrations. Other software vendors don't have standardized methods of integrating, nor have they all standardized provisioning. I would love if Okta could enable an easier way of other software vendors enabling provisioning, as it's a huge help for on- and off-boarding folks very easily as well as life cycle updates to the employee (name changes, title changes, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta has cut our onboarding time by 75%. Offboarding is now much quicker and much more secure. We're able to enforce MFA for all connected applications, and even choose which MFA type a user uses.

What do you like best about the product?
One feature I’ve really appreciated is the seamless integration with multiple applications through a single sign-on experience. It simplifies access to our tools and keeps everything centralized and secure. I also like the added visibility into login activity, which helps reinforce account security and accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area for improvement would be offering more accessible backup options in case of device loss. While Okta Verify works well, losing a phone could become a major blocker without an easily available secondary method (backup codes, alternate device support, or more flexible recovery options).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security in my work information, which is a huge plus.
One Stop shop for all softwares
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it shows recently used on the top. Also the new feature that i have started to love is Okta verify.
What do you dislike about the product?
They have now incorportated Learning @ carta also in it so i think they are diong good. cant think of any improvement ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps my system decluttered. I can access softwares from just one login.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta is very helpful in our daily work tasks. It contains all the software and apps that we use to book flights and communicate with clients. It is like a main domain that organizes all our work apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about okta. It looks straightforward and professional. I guess that's not bad, since the real purpose of okta is for business and for work management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I've mentioned above, okta helps a lot in organizing the apps that we use. Just by opening okta, we can access all the tools simultaneously. We can view and arrange tasks efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta is easy to configure and implement. User-friendly to new employees who have never used Okta too! Requires minimal training to new users and it allows them to have less things to bookmark.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is not really an Okta issue directly but it is definitely tied in to Okta. Many vendors require a more expensive plan (usually Enterprise plan) to use SAML. Enterprise plan for a lot of apps are very expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop shop to log in to various apps. Security is definitely one of the key benefits as well as convenience for end-users.

Super easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
Organization of apps, login process to every app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asks me to login every time despite clicking the remember option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to surf the web and remember passwords for every app.
Nice examples and documentation
What do you like best about the product?
Accelerated our implementation with nice documentation and mainly a functional postman library ready to use, which is a minimum we would expect from some rest api product
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we spend some time trying to understand the authorisation process and how to configure correctly app to app integration, token, etc. Maybe improve the error to help us to identify earlier how to solve it

It is reducing our time to market to our projects. Basically all our meetings with customer's Okta team never were more than 15min to align and do some troubleshooting

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Okta is user-friendly and easy to understand. I feel as though my login information is safe and protected when I use Okta. The services are speedy. It only takes seconds to login using Okta verification.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Okta remembered my device better. I use the same device for verification separate from where I am logging in and I would prefer to only have to verify from the same method a maximum of 2-3 times per day, but I somedays I have to verify several times. I don't mind logging in a few times per day, but over 5 is excessive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can use face ID to verify as opposed to entering a password. This ensures that my data/information is protected. Okta is very simple and straightforward. All of my apps are centralized, so I open my company's Okta page every day. I can arrange everything I need to based on how often I use it, and I feel as though all of my apps are protected!
Okta is highly available and just works.
What do you like best about the product?
There are literally thousands of prebuilt integrations and custom integrations are pretty easy most of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is a little laggy. Nowhere near the amazing levels of support we get from a company like Slack for instance.

IAM and SSO. Adaptive MFA. Account provisioning and deprovisioning through SCIM.
