Great for Identity Managenment
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things I found in Okta is the integration with Microsoft Active Directory. Since our organization currently use AD for almost everything, Okta perfectly integrates and helps us manage a granular Identity of our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, I have not found any downside in Okta, but, I would love to have more integrations with our tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It manages Single Sign On, SAML, and other mechanisms of authentication. That allows us to reduce significantly the time we spend login into other platforms and tools, and also reduces the chances of password leakage.
I really like Okta.

Currently, they provide fewer examples for the Okta script lanquage. They have to give more examples for the Okta script lanquage.

What do you like best about the product?
Okta Customer Identity software can be integrated with any frontend - angular, react or vue. Backend is taken care of. The ease of integration is quite painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developer dashboard UI can be quite confusing. There is also an incompatibility of Angular framework with Okta where in the developer has to find ways to fix hash issue in the url.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have integrated single-sign of my app with the organizations' sign in options. Now all of my applications can be accessed by using a single username and password.

What do you like best about the product?
I like mainly SSO feature and Universal Directory. Using SSO we can get rid of entering username/password for different websites. We can directly log-in using SSO.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel if you can imporve response time it will be good for user (User-expericnce) . It leads attaract more users.

Customer Identity is so supportive and helping to solve real-time problems.
Excellent program for verification purposes
What do you like best about the product?
The 2 Factor Authentication the program uses to verify the user. The program is very user-friendly and not challenging to use. With previous employers, their security measures would significantly increase with the implication of this program.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you obtain a new cell phone, receiving a new QR code is a little tricky; however, once the new code is received, gaining access and verifying authorization is very fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This program benefits companies in trying to maintain a secure verification system for their employees and stop possible security breaches, such as cyber criminals trying to gain access to unauthorized sensitive information.
Best single sign on platform to access your companies application.
What do you like best about the product?
All applications available under one roof. No need to remember credentials of other applications. just remember okta credentials and access all applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Auto log in to okta happens even if the user has closed okta. That should not happen ideally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Users can access all applications under okta. So we only gave to guide user to okta and tell them to access the application from there.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrations which are directly available and even if it is not available directly, you can add them manually and do a SAML Authentication, which expands its capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
API limitations which are there by Okta makes it highly limited in terms of its features and its expandability. Okta should make its API more robust and provide more features for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta is solving my biggest problem of trying to remember each and every password as because of that I don't have to remember 20+ Passwords of SAAS Applications which my Organization uses

What do you like best about the product?
With Okta, organizations can make sure only the right people and devices have access to specific resources. In the process, Okta customers can cut their security TCO via administrative staff reductions, while benefiting from the added soft ROI of lower security breach risk.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main gripe with Okta is price, it's expensive. There isnt an app limit which is killing it for Okta, as that price goes up. But Okta clearly is the better product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nowadays, people often work on a laptop, at different places outside of the office and they check their email via their mobile phone. Due to all these developments, we need more than just a password. Okta also calls itself the modern version of Single Sign-On. To make the Single Sign-On as safe as possible, you can use MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) from Okta. With this, you verify yourself not only with a password, but with a second factor of your choice. For example, with a pin code that you receive on your mobile phone via SMS, with a fingerprint or a push notification via the Okta Verify app. Also, your information is protected by extensive security measures and controls that are checked by third parties.
Great tool for security
What do you like best about the product?
We started using Okta recently, and so far, it has been great! It is easy to use, simple, and keeps all our department's (and company's) apps all in one place. It keeps my identity secured, and I also really enjoy how easy it is to verify my identity through my mobile phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, I'm not experiencing any issues with Okta, and I can't think of any improvements. But, with that said, we recently just started using Okta, so there could possibly be more room for improvements as time goes by.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta Customer Identity keeps each of our identities secured. We are able to house the most important and essential apps within Okta, without the fear of having them being accessed by an outside source.
