There is a need for Okta to provide an end-to-end solution without needing a separate product like Zscaler for multifactor authentication. Additionally, Okta should enhance its endpoint defensive capabilities, as we currently use BeyondTrust for Elevator Access Management.

These companies need an IAM solution to manage their employees securely and provide them with access to the right applications. Okta is used to automate provisioning and support any errors encountered during and after deployment.

The solution helps organizations allow their employees to log into their applications without re-entering credentials and securely access their applications via MFA.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable functions are Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). These two modules serve as dual components, essential for securing application access for employees.
What needs improvement?
Okta could improve by making their learning materials more user-friendly. They could also enhance the flexibility of their MFA feature, allowing clients to implement preferred MFA methods without restrictions.

Okta: A Highly Versatile Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Over the years, I have worked with Okta across various companies, and I must say that it is honestly one of the best SSO solutions on the market. Not only is it user-friendly with a modern interface, but it also boasts high security standards and supports working with thousands of users simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a need for more tutorials on Okta to fully develop its potential. Additionally, the cost is quite high, especially for startups.

In my job, we use around 15 different tools. Having a Single Sign-On (SSO) system really helps as it allows me to access everything without having to remember so many passwords.

Easy to use mobile app. Simple user dashboard to monitor and control all authenticated apps and services. Option to add multiple 2F verification like a physical key.

SDK support can be extended to newer programming languages and documentation can be improved for SAML based SSO.

Easy to use and integrate
What do you like best about the product?
The web application and mobile application is quite easy to use and approve push authentication notifications. Also, the SSO flow smooth for integration due to clear documentation and supporting libraries for each language.

Mobile app does not have the feature to copy the generated OTP.

The ease of this tool is commendable! The single sign-on is damn easy to implement on all your phones and laptops. The number of user verification options makes life easier aswell :)
