Flexible cloud-based ETL, great connectivity, excellent support
What do you like best about the product?
It's a flexible platform with tons of connectors to external data sources - files (ftp/ftps/sftp/s3, REST, SOAP, and hundreds of specific endpoints. The expression language is based on javascript, not a strange specialized language. There's a community with resources and templates, and documentation is good. The help desk support is awesome - very helpful. There are good tools to manage and monitor activity. It's very easy to reuse logic and make modular, maintainable pipelines. There are APIs so activities can be automated (adding users, monitoring activity). They even have components (Snaplogic Metadata snap pack) to let you read/modify your snaplogic assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could add text-boxes for commenting parts of the pipeline (areas). There's a place to comment the entire pipeline, or individual computation parts, but not multiple parts. The UI is very mouse-reliant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers can quickly load data from just about anywhere without writing a line of code. We have integrated it with our product so that we can trigger a SnapLogic pipeline to import/export data seamlessly. It allows us to concentrate on our core competence while providing a complete etl solution. We have never been unable to get data transformed to/from a customer specification or location. There's fine control of user access, so we can allow people to see results of their executions, and others to create pipeline, etc. In this way, we can scale pipeline development to many.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find a typical use case for you and ask them to create an example pipeline to do it, preferably in front of you so you can see the quickness and ease of pipeline development.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SnapLogic resolved so many data lag issues with respect to our tableau reporting. It helped to get the patient data from our Vendor system to Salesforce in Real time. Because of SnapLogic, Reps are able to track their patients statuses and their business in real time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead with SnapLogic. It is the best integration tool.
Great iPaaS Product
What do you like best about the product?
With a whole collection of snaps; connecting to different systems is a breeze be it in the cloud or on-premise. The complexity of connection and interface is hidden from the user but it allows you to create pipelines and data integrations very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
SnapLogic as a product is maturing and there are a few kinks in the interface for example when using a mapper snap, if you want to re-order your data ports then dragging and dropping them works but then you need to do it in multiple steps. So if you have a mapper with 100+ ports then re-ordering is a bit of pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently using SnapLogic to integrate Mainframe data with Salesforce which is going to serve as an Applicant Portal.
One of the Best Cloud IPass Tool - Easy Integration in few minutes
What do you like best about the product?
Based on last one year working experience with SnapLogic Integration tool,
Best cloud based IPass tool
Where ever we can access from browser with installation of any software's
More number of integration connectors includes major cloud service providers like( AWS , Microsoft Azure and Google cloud)
Multiple databases connectivity (SQL server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redshift etc)
CRM and Social websites integration (SAP,Salesforce, Anaplan, Twitter, Linked_in, Facebook etc)
One of the best thing is exposing as a web-service, meaning ETL flow of different integration logic's converter into web-service with easy manner including security.

What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever contacting to SnapLogic support team, They not giving the proper solutions and guidence.
Support team gives solutions and suggestion for only easy scenarios not for the real time some different scenarios. SnapLogic documentation and tutorials is one of the lack point.
SnapLogic certification having common question for all the users, This should keep on change dynamically for multiple combination of questions for different users.

Transforming a PowerCenter power user
What do you like best about the product?
I like the visuals and the ease of inserting most snaps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mapper is a little hard to deal with until you get used to it. It would be nice to be able to capture values from document to document (collect counts and create variables to drive embedded business logic).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are defining and creating integrations between multiple cloud platforms. The time to implement these integrations and the ramp up speed for the product have been pretty awesome.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of the community, the documentation, and the product support group!
Integration for the masses
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface and the intuitive design. I have never used this tool before and was able to build a production quality integration in less than a day. It also handles the flow of documents seamlessly and using json as the native vehicle to move the data is great. Native connector and bulk loading into Snowflake is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
There may be some challenges on the infrastructure side with the number of agents you need to run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were building from an api enabled app and flowing data in Snowflake.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that you consider the pricing model and how it compares to their competitors. Also think about the ease of use and the amount of configuration that is required in the tool. When comparing just think to yourself, should it require this many clicks? Snap is a breeze but others are a configuration nightmare.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch out if you have a number of legacy systems which have non-conventional methods of integration. they can prove to be a pain to blend with SnapLogic as this platform is very REST/Streaming oriented. Be sure to evaluate your current business needs in terms of availability requirements with what the platform offers.
Cut your development time in half
What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic offers an intuitive interface for developers to build scalable, hybrid integration systems quickly and efficiently. The Designer's "Data Preview" features gives you insight into document state as it moves through the data stream allow you to focus on the data and not the programming to build your integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
A CD/CI process would be great moving integrations to Production more easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IAM onboarding tasks are now handled by Snaplogic iPaaS as new employees are hired in Workday. Also, legacy finance systems are all able to share data with our primary Finance and Payroll systems allowing for centralized reporting and and analytics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Snaplogic's clean, modern UI, their JSON-first approach to data pipelines and their minimal requirements for setup on-prem or off, clearly make it a leader in the iPaaS market.
Simple easy to use ETL tool that allows complex transformations from Source to Target
What do you like best about the product?
Snaplogic is an easy tool to understand and be productive on in days instead of years
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation when switching from Designer, Manager and Dashboard requires 3 tabs to be open on your browser. Just a little cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to quickly develop pipelines and provide self service BI capabilities. We are able to product data integration in a much more agile method and reuse pipeline logic with various targets based on user demand.
